We had a wonderful time at Nant-Y-Glyn, the house was perfect for our needs. The views around the property were incredible. The house itself was very clean and spacious. We rented a car and the location was central enough to be able to drive to a few key points of interest in the area. Overall, we had a lovely time and can’t wait to be back one day!

Fabulous House
Fabulous clean house in a great location, just what we wanted.Very comfortable lounge, the best we have ever experienced. Very well equiped in the kitchen. The rayburn was a real bonus to dry wet clothes and boots on the rack above.
Great accommodation with all you need for a relaxing break away from home. Has the added bonus of lovely countryside on the doorstep. Enjoyed watching sunset over the hill which can be viewed from the patio or the living room or kitchen!
The house is gorgeous and though we were battered by one of the worst storms of the last 100 years, we still managed to have a lot of fun! Fantastically clean, comfortable and spacious, this location is perfect for getting away from the world. It would be an ideal base for summer exploration in the surrounding hills (which we plan to do)!
The hosts were very friendly and even made a perilous trip out to us to bring us a gas stove during a storm-induced power cut! We couldn't have asked for any more!
Thanks again. Looking forward to coming back soon!
Stayed here with a few friends for a birthday and it was just what we were after!
Beautiful house, and the location was amazing. You can see so many stars, and the sunset over the hill lighting up the sky was stunning.
All rooms were a decent size, and the kitchen and lounge were great for cooking and entertaining.
Would definitely stay here again.
I would advise people download anything they might need for their stay before getting into the village/hamlet. There is no signal AND the wifi at the property was not great for four people. We were all after digital detoxes so was ideal, but might not work for others.
Neat and clean property, ample parking, oil fired fire in the living room, nice scenic view outside the windows, a delicious fruit cake awaits on arrival, a quiet and serene neighbourhood, nice hiking trails.

Gorgeous
I went away as a group of 6! The place is a little hard to find as the postcode doesn’t take you to the property you have to drive for another 5 minutes to find it. However Sharon was very accommodating and friendly. She made us all feel very welcome and was very quick to help with any issues we had. Overall a lovely quiet area just a little difficult to locate! I would definitely return!

Beautiful property.
Beautiful, clean and we'll keep up home. Great hostess too boot! The location of this home is country with no big cities close so if you want piece and quite this may be it. However if you are looking for city life I would suggest a different rental. I only gave it 3 stars because of the roads leading to this property.

I have to say that I am gutted to have been given a three star rating just because the roads to the property are narrow and winding. Our nearest city is an hour's drive away. We are situated in Rural Mid Wales and our lanes are quite country lanes. I take pride in presenting my property in a clean and welcoming condition for my guests arrival and do my best to ensure that their every need is catered for. The only thing I cannot change is the location..........not that I would even if I could.

NANT-Y-GLYN - comfortable and clean
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Nant-Y-Glyn in beautiful surroundings. Spacious cottage with all needs supplied for a holiday. One can always find something to improve in most holiday accommodation, according to one's personal tastes, but overall as far as a holiday was concerned, this was a lovely place to stay. It is central for walks and it was nice to be away from interfering telephones! A good thing was the payphone, as, having a daughter in respite while we took a break, meant that I could be reached in any emergency, which thankfully did not happen.
The owner, Sharon, was very helpful and obliging, as were her children, Jack and Natalie, which greatly added to the enjoyment of the holiday.

Last minute arrangement was fantastic as Sharon was so quick to respond
We literally booked this at 10pm on a Thursday night as a replacement weekend break after a last minute cancellation of our original plans. Sharon was fantastic in communicating with us and made us so welcome. 14 hours after first contacting Sharon we arrived at the house to be greeted by a delightful cake, and a card with a bottle of wine as it was our Silver Wedding Anniversary weekend plan that had gone awry. So very thoughtful, well organised and well received.
The house was lovely, clean and quiet, and we had a wonderful weekend.
Thank you Sharon for the last minute help to let us have a weekend away that we thought we had lost.

Lovely cottage
Our second stay at a very comfortable well equipped property. In a very picturesque setting. Ideal for walking holidays, cycling too although hilly surroundings. Ideal type of holiday if you need to get away for peace and quiet, the birds and sheep are the sounds you will hear the most.
