About this property

The house is on two levels. You enter into a large entrance area with plenty of space for storing shoes and other personal items!
The lower floor has a large double bedroom with an en suite bathroom. A further two twin bedrooms with one having the option of a pull out bed for an extra guest
There is a further bedroom with a single bed which can be pulled out into a double. There is also another single bed in this bedroom.
There is a large family bathroom on this level with a double sink, toilet, shower, bath and a sauna.
Stairs take you upstairs to a wonderful light open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. There is a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, electric hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a pantry for storing food and other consumables.
The dining room area has a large table and seating for 8 and the lounge has two couches. There is a balcony from the lounge and a further toilet and separate laundry room with a washing machine/dryer.
A small lounge is also on this upper level with bean bags for the children to relax on and watch a selection of Dvds. There is complimentary WiFi and a selection of various TV programmes in different languages.
There is a further double bedroom with an en suite consisting of a bath, shower, toilet and sink. This bedroom leads onto a balcony with views of the countryside.
Outside the house has plenty of space for the children to play and table and chairs, a barbeque to sit and relax and take in the wonderful views!

Lovely cosy home in a beautiful location

We loved staying in this house, there was lots of room for everyone and it felt like home. The view across the valley when the weather was clear was incredible. The location was quiet but only five minutes down to the town. Would definitely stay here again.

A full immersion in a charming natural environment

The house is perfect for a big group: plenty of space inside and in front of the house, a fully equipped kitchen, a huge lounge with a marvellous view of the Triglav. The village with the main shops is at 5 minutes by car. In Bohiniska Bistrica at the tourist information you can also buy detailed maps of the paths, some starting from the house, and the parking pass (strongly recommended). We loved swimming and rowing into the two lakes, the charming Bled jezero and the untamed Bohinij jezero, walking around them and in the Mostlica gorges, where the wood protected us during some hot days. To reach Bled and avoid traffic you can leave the car in the free parking slot near the railway station and go there by train in 20 minutes. We won't forget also the totally silent and starry nights!

Great house & host

The house is modern and well equipped. Perfect for a large group. The location is very quiet, with a beautiful view. Also the communication with the host (thanks Alison :-)) was flawless. We would love to come back!
