Hello and welcome to our charming holiday home, Carniolan House / Gorenska Hiška, nestled in the serene village of Vrbnje in Upper Carniola. This is your perfect retreat to relax and unwind, offering a peaceful escape just moments away from the bustling and picturesque Bled, yet close to all the main attractions in the area.

#### About the House:

Our house combines all the comforts of home with the tranquility of a holiday retreat.

- **Outside:** Enjoy free private parking for at least two cars, a lovely patio with a seating area, and a delightful garden.
- **Inside:** On the ground floor, you'll find a welcoming entry room where you can slip off your shoes and put on some cozy slippers.
The fully equipped kitchen, which includes a microwave, is perfect for preparing meals. The dining area features a table for up to 10 guests.
The spacious living room is ideal for relaxing, with ample seating and a 50-inch flat-screen TV. There's also a convenient shower room on this level. Upstairs, there are four comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom, and an additional WC. Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price for your convenience.

While our home is perfect for families with children, we welcome all guests who seek a peaceful and relaxing stay. We kindly ask that you respect the tranquility of the neighborhood and our friendly neighbors.

#### Laundry Services:

Though there is no washing machine in the house, we offer a convenient cleaning service that can pick up and deliver your laundry. Alternatively, you can use the laundromat in nearby Radovljica.

#### Things to Do:

Carniolan House is an excellent base for your daily adventures, whether you enjoy hiking, biking, or exploring the stunning local attractions. Nearby destinations include Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, Vintgar Gorge, Ljubljana, Pokljuka, and Planica. You'll find a variety of maps, flyers, and brochures in the utility room to inspire your trips, all available free of charge.

Guests who stay in accommodation in the municipality of Radovljica for at least 3 nights between 15 April and 15 November 2024 receive a Julian Alps Card: Radovljica free of charge.

#### Convenient Location:

Our village, Vrbnje, is conveniently located just off the A2 highway leading to Bled and Austria, yet it feels wonderfully secluded. In the summer, you'll appreciate the easy exit at Radovljica, avoiding the traffic heading to Bled.

As you drive into Vrbnje, you'll pass the Dolenc milk farm, where you can buy fresh milk, cheese, and yogurt daily. It's a delightful stop to pick up local dairy products.

A short walk from the house will take you to a lovely creek and a recreational area featuring a basketball court, football field, beach volleyball court, outdoor fitness equipment, and a children's playground. The nearest grocery store is just 1 km away, conveniently located on your way to and from the house.

Our garden offers a wonderful spot to sit and dine outdoors, surrounded by nature.

You'll have the entire house to yourself for the duration of your stay, ensuring complete privacy and comfort. However, we're always available if you need any assistance or advice.
