About the host
Hosted by Doreen

Hospitality is in my DNA. Having had a career with Ritz-Carlton Hotels and then Twin Farms resort here in Barnard, guest service is a part of me. I look forward to greeting my guests, anticipating their needs and providing a great experience.
Why they chose this property
This cozy cabin was created as a refuge for a writer and journalist in the 1920s. Enjoy the sound of the two brooks that converge within your sight, or snuggle up with a good book (or your partner!) in front of the huge stone fireplace inside or the Solo fire pit on your private terrace. We have plenty of apple wood to burn from our orchard!
What makes this property unique
Walk to the public beach in the village or to Silver Lake State Park, both just up the hill.
