PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
Rancho El Mirador is an intimate complex of 61 units situated around beautiful landscaped grounds, an inviting pool area with hot tub and tennis court. It is conveniently located on Indian Canyon Blvd, one the main streets through Palm Springs, but inside you are transported into a quiet desert oasis with green lawns, orange trees, and bougainvillea. It sits at the bottom of the San Jacinto mountains and there are spectacular mountain views from both bedrooms. Wake to the sun rise reflected on the mountains or sit on the back balcony to watch the evening sun set over the mountains. Ruth Hardy Park, The Wellness Park, and the Movie Colony neighborhood--"homes of the rich and famous"--are just a few blocks away.

Our unit has 2 bedrooms, one with a California king bed and en suite bath with walk in shower, and one with two twin beds and a bath with tub/shower combo on the hall. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There are two decks, one off the living room and one in the back that can be accessed from both bedrooms. The living room has a 46' Smart TV with hi def cable. There is free high-speed internet and phone with free calls to the USA and Canada.

The entire unit was renovated and furnished in 2015-16 Towels and bedding are regularly replaced/updated.

Perfect stay in the perfect location!

We enjoyed another month long stay at the Rancho El Mirador condo complex. The beautifully kept grounds were a sight to enjoy from our balcony that overlooked the inner courtyard. Inside the condo contained everything a renter could hope for. A nicely equipped kitchen had all the necessities to prepare meals at home. However, the condo was also located within walking distance to all the great restaurants found in downtown Palm Springs. We couldn’t have hoped for a better stay and wish to return again next year. The owners were a delight to work with as well!

Indian Canyon Hideaway

Very well maintained and updated. Communication with Joy was excellent. She emailed us a document containing all we needed to know and there was a basket of travel brochures available to peruse when we arrived. The condo was well stocked with staples that reall was appreciated. Linens were lovely . All we could have asked for and more. The one and only drawback were the stairs leading to the second floor condo as we are seniors with mobility issues. However, two hand rails on either side helped.

Wonderful stay

This is our second stay at El Mirador. This unit is exactly as described and it’s absolutely beautiful with extremely comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a wonderful living area with TV and a great deck. The owner, Joy, is always available and very responsive. The walk to downtown is easy. The surrounding neighbourhood is very attractive. We could not give us a higher.

Terrific condo in a great location close to DT Palm Springs

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in the Rancho El Mirador complex. The unit was nicely equipped with anything we could have hoped for which made for a nice stay. The condo was nicely situated with a view of the mountains and the nicely landscaped grounds. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeder or darting around the bougainvillea planted through the complex. The owners were terrific the deal with. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfection…..location, accommodation and vibe.

This spacious condominium provides all the comforts of home with extremely comfortable beds, great linens and towels, a fabulously equipped kitchen, an amazing deck with a wonderful view of the interior courtyard. There is a new washer and dryer, two TVs, two well-equipped bathrooms. The Location is great with an easy walk to downtown Palm Springs with shopping/restaurants. .The owner, Joy, is readily available, always accommodating, and responsive. We have stayed in manyVRBO properties and this is the best by far. We can’t wait to return. Dereck and Terry

We are originally from California and miss the mountains where we live in the midwest. We love the dry air, the sunshine, the majestic mountains of Palm Springs, and the lush green of Rancho El Mirador.

Why they chose this property

Rancho El Mirador is an intimate, very private complex, yet close to historic downtown Palm Springs with all its amenities. Our particular unit is on the top floor where it enjoys breezes and cathedral ceiling in the living room. It's on both the bus and free trolley routes with stops a block away.
