Great holiday experience in a lovely small complex
The apartment was on the ground floor, very spacious with all the facilities as listed. The beds and sofa bed were comfortable, however the 2 seater sofa has seen better days (although no issue to us as not used). It was basically clean, with some areas needing further attention (ie., under beds, sofas, corners) and some walls could do with a lick of paint to freshen up. If you are looking for pretty basic accommodation with all that you need without any frills, then this is for you. Minor issues with air con units and shower rail were dealt with very quickly by the management company Fresh Accommodation who spoke very good English. Communication with the owner prior to arrival was very good, answering all of my questions and he also booked my airport transfer for me.
The apartment is in a fairly small complex with 24 hour security which made us feel very safe. The pool and pool bar are great, with enough sunbeds and parasols for everyone most of the time. Maggie who runs the pool bar is very helpful and friendly, serving snacks and drinks for most of the day and evening at very reasonable prices.
Summer Dreams is located nearer to Nessebar than we first thought but still close enough to Sunny Beach centre to walk to if you wished, although there are local buses available every few minutes if you don't. Buses are cheap although usually very crowded but you soon get used to them!!
This was our first experience of Bulgaria and we loved every minute of it! The local people are very friendly and with the currency being BGN, prices are extremely reasonable. We will definitely be returning.
