About this property

The charming Suite Cartari is named after the adorable little street in the historical center, called Via dei Cartari. It is carefully furnished to offer a pleasant stay.
Our traditional flat in the historical centre offers the perfect base for your stay in Rome.
We are just a minutes walk from the beautiful Piazza Farnese and 2 minutes from the market square of Campo de Fiori. Piazza Novona is then just another 2 minutes from there.
We are 30 metres away from the Tiber River and the trendy area of Trastevere is a 5 minute walk across the Ponte Sisto footbridge at the end of Via Giulia. It's bars and restaurants are well priced and not to be missed!

The Vatican City is a 20 minute walk from us, the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus and the Trevi Fountain are 20 minutes too, the Pantheon is 10 minutes away, and Piazza de Spagna is around 25 minutes.
Towels, shampoo, soap and a hairdryer are available for guest use.
There are so many wonderful restaurants, gelaterie (ice cream shops), cafes, antique shops, artisanal shops and galleries just moments away from our front door. We love exploring and finding hidden gems in the little streets around us, and we are happy to share our finds with you - and to hear about new ones from you!

Great Weekend Getaway Spot

What a perfect location for only having a couple days in Rome!! Just a few short blocks to Campo Di Fiore, walking distance to Vatican City, and we even spent an evening walking through many of the beloved and beautiful Piazzas that are all lit up at night. Sooo many wonderful cafes, bars, bistros, restaurants…. and so much architecture and culture. Loved it!! Also, Barbara was an amazing host and attentive communicator. I definitely recommend ❤️

Fantastic location and great service.

Not a very fancy place, but true to as described. Very close to piazza Navona and Campo De Fiori which is perfect for walking everywhere. Barbara was so responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. The suite had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The rooms were very functional and the kitchen was equipped to cook basic meals.

Horrible place you will be scammed!

It was not as advertised at all. The ac didn’t work well. The owner wanted passports in case they were needed by the police ne about that time a police car with blasting siren came by. Not a safe location. Did not stay at apartment, had to check into a hotel so I paid twice for my stay in Rome. Not a good way to start a vacation! I have to say, I have stayed in several Vrbo in the past in Italy, France, Mexico and the Us and have NEVER had this problem before. I feel like I was scammed. I hope my stay in Sorrento isn’t of the same quality or lack there of.

Review of Rione IV Parione May 2022

The property is centrally located and convenient to restaurants, shops and sites. Pros: Clean, good communication with host, excellent help from Carolina at check-in. Ground floor apartment. No stairs to climb for access. Cons: Very little natural light in the apartment. This forces one to get out and experience Rome. Had problems with the stove igniting and leaks in the shower which the host said would be fixed for future rentals. Considerations: Shower is small - tight squeeze for big people. Not many pots and pans for cooking, if that is your thing.
