Amazing beach home away from home!

From the beautiful balcony view to the spacious, comfortable accommodations, this was as delightful and relaxing a stay as we had hoped. The hosts communicated with us promptly and were very helpful and kind. We highly recommend and would love to return.

We like this property rental. We stayed for a week this time! We really love it, they made a couple improvements since last year. The beds are comfy. One thing that would be nice is a few extra toiletries, soap for the kitchen, but it was great

Beachfront Gulf Shores!

The condo was very clean and neat. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools. The decor was very "beachy". We loved having coffee on the balcony, looking out at the beach. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The view from the 14th floor balcony was the highlight! While the property has not been updated in some time, it was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds too! Very nice to have an on-site pool and 24/7 reception desk as well. Would definitely recommend.

We visited for Spring Break with our family. Condo was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the week. We loved that we could enjoy all of the amenities as soon ad we got there, we arrived early am and check in was not until 4:00, we did get an early check in at 2:00. Susu was extremely nice and helpful! We will be back next year and may just stay here again. Thanks!

Wonderful trip

We were so afraid the Hurricane was going to ruin our trip but it was just the opposite- the day after the hurricane passed through Florida was the most beautiful weather!! The only complaint we had was there was no remote for the DVD so we were unable to watch the movies we brought. Wonderful mattresses- I was disappointed in mine when we got home!! What kind are they?????

It was everything we wanted it to be!

We took our three boys here to see the beach/ocean for the first time and it was amazing! The condo had a fantastic view and everything was what we wanted it to be. The kitchen had everything we needed, we ate breakfast every morning at the condo, before heading out to the pool or beach! We had a little trouble with the dvd player not working for us, but it was our last night there and was only a minor irritation for the week. The view of the fireworks on the 4th of July were incredible from the balcony. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this condo. Thank you!

A great stay but not as good as the first time.

I have stayed at this property before and loved it. I had a few (minor) issues this time around though. The first being the inability to stream anything on any of the Smart TVs. There was also an issue getting the LR TV to work and I had to have maintenance come up. When we first arrived that TV was left on and frozen on a welcoming screen that we could not "unfreeze". With only Direct TV remotes and not having the actual remote to the television(s) this made things a bit more difficult to maneuver, especially since I have the same LR Samsung at home and am quite familiar with it's functions. My other issue was that the master bath shower, albeit beautiful, did not run anything but HOT water. After a day at the beach I love a tepid or cooler shower but it would only move from Hot to Scorching. No doubt the temp on the water heater for that shower needs an adjustment. Lastly, we hated the rental chairs at the beach, which I know has little to do with the condo owners and more to do with new gov't issue. Had I known the wooden chair rentals were no longer an option I would have brought my own, more comfortable beach chairs. Other than that I love this condo and will most likely vacation there again. Thank you to Al and Susu once again for sharing their beautiful place.

Great condo as well as beach access, pools, and location. However, a few minor inconveniences for price point. •Ice machine in freezer leaked all over the freezer (making slush) and had to purchase ice for 7 a bag in the vending unit which charged 3 times for a total of 21.. Staff response, “I don’t know”..•Hair dryer in bedroom #1 not working. •Dishwasher would turn off mid cycle.•Dryer in unit had to run 3 times on 1 hour cycle to dry clothes. (2 towels and bathing suits ..)•Oven in unit doesn’t heat to temperature desired/would lower the temp. in the middle of baking items.

Very nice property! Only disappointment was the lack of balcony privacy. The building is built with staggered sections so we could see into 6 to 8 balconies all around us and they could see us.

Our Castaway Getaway II, is the perfect place for our children and grandchildren to join us on vacation. We all love the beach and the beachfront Phoenix VII is the ideal place for us. From the beautiful lobby, to the comfort of our condo, you know you are on vacation immediately!
There is so much to do right in the complex, indoor, outdoor and kiddie pools, pickleball, racquet ball, tennis, exercise room and saunas and hot tubs. We love the location. Close to everything we need, and everything we want to do. Come Castaway your worries and relax at our Getaway!

What makes this property unique

We love our beachfront condo in Orange Beach! A short drive from our home in Slidell, Louisiana, puts us on the sugar white sandy beaches and in the emerald blue surf! There is so much to do and never enough time. We enjoy relaxing on the beach, watersports, fishing trips and sunset cruises. Our balcony is the perfect place for a sunrise breakfast or relaxing and watching the sunset. We just love our condo and hope you will too.
