Lovely 2 bedroom townhouse, close to Paphos harbour, use of onsite facilities

Lovely refurbished two bedroom townhouse situated in Kato Paphos, close to a sandy beach, shops and restaurants.
The property consists of an open plan living and dining area with seating for 4 people, Free Wifi and TV offering UK and International TV channels. There is a fully equipped self catering modern kitchen. This leads out to a private paved area with outside table, chairs, umbrella and BBQ to relax and enjoy the Cyprus balmy evenings. There is also a guest WC available on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a double bed and patio doors leading out onto the balcony. The second bedroom offers a sea view and has twin beds.
The newly refurbished bathroom now offers a walk in shower.
The property is fully air conditioned throughout with ceiling fans.
There is a choice of communal pools - one at the hotel which is accessible directly across from the house, the other a short 50 meter walk away. Sunbeds and umbrellas provide the perfect setting to enjoy these lovely pools. The hotel also offers guests the use of the Gym, Tennis courts, Sauna, steam rooms and spa facilities, some of which may incur a charge. There is also an on-site Bar and Restaurant at the Hotel.

Two incredible months in Pafos

Hello! We are a family of four from Russia and we've spent 2 months in this great house. Everything you need is just 1-5 minute walk from the place. I don't know how it was before us, but now it's very clean, the shower and toilet are ok, no problem at all. Yes it doesn't overlook the pool, but it's actually good. Because the place is very quiet, and the pool is just 15 meters from the house. A lot of good local restaurants with very amiable staff. I can't recommend this place enough for a family with children.

This property is not fit for purpose, it’s absolutely filthy, full of cobwebs, crawling with spiders and needs a complete refurb. Even after they sent cleaners in to give it a ‘deep’ clean there were still dead cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards and human faeces on the bathroom wall. Everything about this accommodation was filthy and we couldn’t bare to sleep there for even one night. We immediately found and paid for alternative accommodation and are still waiting for a full refund. The agents haven’t responded to my messages.

Fly you fools...

We stayed 10 days and it was a nightmare... The house isn't well equipped, no coffee machine, no vacuum cleaner and nothing to welcome you except 1 roll of toilet paper. The house doesn't belong to the complex with the piscine, on one side you have the entrance and on the other side a terrasse completely unusable due to the mosquitos, the cat urine smell and the potato field. Nothing closes properly witch means that the mosquitos enter easily, I killed at least 15 of them everyday and night. Speaking about the nights, you have the choice between the bedroom with barking dogs and donkeys with a door that doesn't close or the one with the beds that are so noisy that you have to wear ear plugs. Don't hope too much, even with the ear plugs you will hear the beds squeak at every move you do. The bathroom is a joke, the sink of the shower is clogged so you have water everywhere, the warm water supply isn't enough to shower and clean the dishes, and there is mold. Under the stairs there is a supply of floor tiles, maybe if you want to help renovating, cables are passing through the wall and there are ants. We took photos of everything if someone wants them. The contact persons are useless. This house shouldn't be available for rent on a renting platform like yours and it seems like t is like that since 2017...

Great short break!

Apartment neat and tidy. Near all amenities, restaurants and hotel had great breakfasts and dinners if you wanted to stay close and prices reasonable. Lovely local municipal beach and lots of things to do like sailing, jet skis etc. The pool was clean and well kept, with fabulous staff. I found it very noisy during night with dogs barking continuously, once you get used to it is okay. Mosquitoes is worry some, so take something for them. If you use fan or air conditioning and keep doors and windows closed it’s fine. Overall good holiday and will recommend it.

Great location

Location is very good with 2 swimming pools on site and food available if you don't want to venture out, clean villa that suited us well, needs the bath fixing as we had a leak when showering but that didn't affect our stay, shame there was quite a few restaurants and mini markets that are within walking distance closed due to covid. Overall had a great stay.

Nice property, but unloved!

The kitchen and both bathrooms are recently refurbished and look lovely, but the property is let down in other areas. The property could be brilliant if a little more care and attention was placed on the cleaning and a small amount of money spending on door security and other general improvements, hence my comment of unloved. I am not about to do a list on here of all our issues, but if the property manager wishes to contact me, I would be more than happy to give my issues direct on a constructive basis.

Perfect stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 week stay. The townhouse is very comfortable with all amenities. Lovely quiet location, only a 10 minute walk to the harbour. Plenty of good local restaurants and bars. We only had 2 very minor issues which Fay dealt with promptly and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble. Overall I would highly recommend this home from home and look forward to returning next year. Thank you Fay, from Jackie and Denise x

Disapointing

On an excellent site this could be a really good property but sadly falls well short. Has a decent kitchen but it's all downhill from there. Bath fitting seems a bodged job and the way the shower screen is fitted means you can't get to clean the tap end of the bath. Doesn't seem to worry their cleaner though looks as though they just ignore it, along with the dirty floor tiles around the staircase area. Just generally a drab badly maintained house. If you like a bath start running it the day you get there, absolutely no water pressure. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Cheap for a reason, Beware!

This property does not overlook the pool as the photo suggests, but is set overlooking a hotel on one side and a field on the other. The overall state of repair is poor and the bathroom is a disgrace with a sloping bath, manky sealant everywhere and water pressure so low you can`t take a shower. The bedrooms are in a bad way, the door to the twin room does not close as the latch is missing, the wardrobe doors do not fit properly and there is paint all over them. The shutter in the rear bedroom lets in light as it is broken and bare screws stick up out of the floor where there used to be doorstops in both bedrooms. There are pictures stuck to the walls which are peeling off and the beds are not very comfortable either. Some of the lights have no shades, just bear bulbs and the air conditioning is on a timer in all rooms so you can`t run it for more than an hour at a time - which is really stupid on hot nights! The front patio is constantly wet form the air conditioner upstairs and the sliding doors to the front do not lock, making the place vulnerable from a security perspective. The kitchen is OK but some basic supplies would have been great as we arrived at midnight! Outside to the rear the walls are cracking and the patio is starting to disintegrate and has a major ant problem. For what we paid we could have stayed in a local 3 star hotel in Paphos and been more comfortable. Quite frankly this place is not fit to be on Owners Direct as it is a mess and you are not even dealing with the owners but a property management company who basically do nothing to help you. AVOID AT All COSTS.

Lovely town house

This is exactly what we were looking for after staying in the paphos gardens hotel last year we wanted to stay with the same hotel and location but something a little bigger for our family of 4. This town house was in a perfect location just across from the main hotel and pool. It had everything we needed and communication with the owner was brilliant when asking a question regarding the location on arrival late at night. I would stay here again and recommend it highly.

A very tired property in need of some overdue TLC

The overall impression of this property is of a once smart and relatively upmarket house that has been neglected. The whole property is in need of a makeover - but nothing that a lick of paint and a good clean couldn't solve. The one exception, however, is the bathroom. It really is in dire need of a new bathroom suite and some attention to the plumbing. Its a real shame, as the location is excellent and the price extremely reasonable. There are 2 swimming pools very close by and the hotel reception/bar/restaurant is a 30 second walk. There are 4 or 5 reasonably priced taverna/restaurants within 400 yards (most of them also serve breakfast) and a couple of supermarkets are also close by. The nearest beach is at the end of the road (5 mins walk) and buses into the harbour for nightlife and a huge choice of restaurants run along the main road. The 3 star rating is made up of 4/5 for location but 2/5 for the property itself.

Aircon and fans were great, the kitchen ok, but in need of more utensils, and the place is looking rather tired and in need of a good clean. It is functional and served its purpose but I doubt I'd stay there again. The location is good but the property does not overlook the pool ( it's the hotel pool over the road from the apartment) as the photo suggests.

Our stay was brilliant, we had the choice of dinning at the hotel or out close by or down by the Habour. The Bus garage in the habour had buses that took you everywhere for a very reasonable price. Use of the hotel Spa was great also. Had such a great time seeing more than weve seen before. A most pleasurable stay at Paphos gardens. Recommended.

I had to have ground floor access as we hired bikes, this was perfect. Close to harbour and plenty of restaurants, also on bus route from airport. Would definitely stay again.

There were two of us travelling to Paphos for a wedding, the apartment was ideally situated half way between Kato Paphos & the wedding venue. There was everything we needed, the fans & air cond were all working as all the other electrical equipment was as well. I would definitely use this apartment again.

Stayed here for a week in September, great house to stay in was 3 adults and 1 child, was lots of room, we even said there is enough room for 6 people if there was a sofa bed in living room, great contact with the owner, we had problem with air con , I emailed at 11.30pm, the next morning at 9am someone was there to help,so a really great service, the resort the house is on is amazing, my daughter had great fun , and the house is close to the pool unlike other houses there so was a great bonus, lots of great places to eat only a short walk away, I definitely will be returning, great place to stay, everything you want is in the house, even had uk tv and wifi
