LOW 3rd FLOOR END UNIT Sleeps 9 2 or 3 families can enjoy the very unusual floor plan of this 3 bedroom 3 bath condo. There is a separate private Master Suite that adjoins the rest of the condo with a King Bed, Kitchenette full bathroom tub/shower and private ocean front balcony. The main part of the condo has another Master Suite and private En-suite bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a set of very sturdy queen size bunk beds. Great room has a queen sofa sleeper. All bedrooms & great room have balcony access with straight out ocean front view.

Splash also has a Arcade with a Mini Bowling alley and nicely equipment gym. There is a beach supply/ convenient store and ice cream shop on the first floor of the parking deck.

Great Views, Awful Elevator

Beautiful views, elevator takes FOREVER so plan about an hour to wait when you're checking out. Hot tub overcrowded. Otherwise, decent stay.

Great place

Great place to stay with a family.Plenty of room and easy access to beach. Just needed a broom to keep the floor swept.Very clean except floors needed mopping but we are looking forward to returning next year,same place!!

We had a great stay! Having the lock in suite for the in laws was absolutely perfect. The bunk beds were great for the kids and all 3 balcony’s were perfect.

Gorgeous view

This was a spacious condo for 9 guests was clean and had a gorgeous view. However registration fees doubled upon arrival, there weren't enough forks for the number of guests, both king beds made loud noises when anyone moved, no dresser in the bunk room, no broom to sweep up unavoidable sand, and very little storage for food items.

Double red flags

The weather and the water with the rip tide warnings were beyond anyones control we were comfortable in the spacious rooms. The balconies were super, so many to enjoy looking at the ocean and beach area. I would recommend this room to others,

July 4 Holiday

Beautiful condo with gorgeous views! Plenty of space for our 3 families and the separate bedroom was great for those with an infant! Easy check in process, easy access to the stairs so we didn't have to wait for the elevator, super easy access to the beach! We didn't even have to leave the room for a view of the fireworks! We had a wonderful vacation and would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful Location

Our stay was wonderful. 3rd floor was great for when elevators were packed we could just walk up. It is as described and as it is in the photos. The housekeeper could do a better job cleaning under beds and vents, and the ice maker was not working. We let the owner know of all issues when we first arrived. It was overall a wonderful week.

Overall our stay was amazing! The view was amazing. Our only complaints are the TV in the master bedroom only got one channel. and there were dirty dishes in the cupboards. Nothing that major. We would totally recommend this condo and we would stay again.

Kids really enjoyed

Not thrilled about distance to park and have to get carts. Room had very little necessities (one each of trash bag, toilet paper). No paper towels or cleaning supplies. Otherwise very nice.

Standards

Let me start by saying 'Always read reviews before booking". Had I taken the time to read previous guest comments I would not have booked. I did message with owner to ask if all the negative issues mentioned had been taken care of. He responded to only one issue which was cleanliness. I will not go into all details but let's just say I realize everyone has a different standard of cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep. For my family and I it did not meet our standards. Based on the rates I was expecting much more than motel standards. I did not feel comfortable cooking in this kitchen, even if it were clean enough there wasn't proper supplies to make a meal. The washing machine reeked with nastiness. The condo was very roomy and could be amazing but it's going to need some time, attention and money spent on it. I would not recommend this motel/condo unit, nor would I ever stay in it again. As far as SPLASH it is great for young children.

Fun place to stay

We love Splash Resort. Have stayed here before. It has so many things to keep your family busy and entertained. It was clean quiet and easy check in though wish check in was sooner then 4pm ( makes it hard when driving 12 hours , gotta get food which makes it go into evening hours. My only negatives would be the refrigerator wasnt working correctly. I called. Texted, and emailed both Vrbo and the manager several times with never a response ( left messages) .we had to keep food in tiny frig in the joining room all week so food didnt spoil. Had to walk back and fourth to cook etc. And no broom .lastly , the pots/pans and utensils could be updated. We struggled to cook because everything stuck and utensils were broke or worn out. We just bought a broom and a few utensils to make things easier. Overall, recommend staying at Splash Resort especially if you have a large family.

Location great, condo not so much!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was amazing, but it pretty much ends there. Props to the owners for attempting to update this property, but workmanship very poor, and unfinished. Could be amazing, if given the proper time and attention. Worst of all are the master beds. No excuse for having outright terrible bedding, very saggy and super creaky. Kitchen was poorly stocked, no cutting boards, or pizza cutter, no pantry, no storage, can’t open freezer door. Overall, unit was not clean, hair in showers, mirrors dirty, floors dirty. Upgrades not completed. Lights blinked in bathroom and fridge, sinks drained poorly in bathroom. Leftover materials and additional tvs took up closet space. Master bedroom had no lock. Still, we made the best of it and enjoyed the location and amenities. Again, the potential is there for a great unit, decor was minimal but was nice!

Worst condo I have stayed in

I was looking to book our annual family trip a little late this year. Only a few options to pick I settled on this property for a decent price and seemingly some fun water activities for my kids. At first glance the condo looked nice, but within an hour there was a leak from the ceiling, loose bathroom fixtures, flickering lights in 2 rooms, sand on the floor and just a general sense of uncleanliness. The finishes are just poor. That feeling remained throughout the entire trip in addition to the 2 giant cockroaches we found after coming home from dinner. That set the tone for the remaining trip as everyone was grossed out and disgusted to say the least Beds were not very comfortable with cheap mattresses that squeak. There are (2) bowls, a few pans and very little cooking utensils. This for a condo that clearly is set up to accommodate large parties. There is nowhere to put luggage except on the ground— which was not going to happen being we found the roaches. In the bunk room there is a large closet that the the kids shut one of the adults in when they were looking for a luggage rack, be cautious because that door locks and does not open but from the outside— a kid could easily lock themselves in Elevators were packed and hard to get into. Waterpark was nice with nice pools, though beware young kids and teenagers completely overtook the hot tub I’m talking 8-15 kids jammed in there for all day everyday. Just a note nothing the property could do about it.

Well...we had a good time!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the resort was nice. Lots for our kiddos to do. The condo, however, wasn't less subpar. It needed a good deep clean, many many repairs and to be stocked with kitchen essentials (3 bowls for a 10-12 person condo). In the inlaw suite, there was a ceiling corner with a huge leak that puddled in the floor. Also, mold was visually present in the same corner. Tons of nicks and dirty spots on the baseboards and walls. A good weekend overhaul of cleaning and repairs would help this condo drastically! The ice maker/water didn't work in the fridge. Furniture was bubbled from people leaving drinks sitting. On the plus side, the beds were all extremely comfortable and the condo is a great size for multiple families.

Great location but we were disappointed with the condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is a 3rd floor corner unit. It had a wonderful view. Splash Resort had everything we needed for our family vacation, and we were actually traveling with another family and had a total of five kids with us. They loved the pools. From the parent viewpoint however, there were so many things not working or broken in the condo upon check-in! Of course, it is one of those things that you discover as your day goes on. It was very frustrating. As soon as we checked in, we could tell the air conditioner was not working very well. There was water actually dripping from the ceiling vent. The filter was full so we had to pull it out so it would work. There was blood on the sheets in the pull out couch. There were empty bottles and wrappers under the bunkbeds. There was a big pile of vomit on the balcony in the secluded king room and I refused to clean it up, so we didn't use our balcony. We did open the balcony door and then couldn't get it shut. I ended up having to clean out the track so it would shut. The garbage disposal was not working and was actually disconnected so we had to hook it back up again. The kitchen had a lot of the basics, but did not even have potholders, and did not have enough silverware for 9 people. We had to go buy some from Walmart. Thank God we took a crockpot! There were multiple lightbulbs burn out throughout the unit. The dust pan was broken. And let me tell you I had read reviews previously about how horrible the beds were and I cannot stress enough how horrible the beds were. I checked and there were tags on the boxsprings and mattress from 2007!! That to me is inexcusable. They could at least put some money into new beds for the comfort of their renters. Dont rent hereif you have back issues. Seriously. I would definitely go to the splash resort again, but I would not book this condo. We made the best out of it, and tried not to let these issues ruin our trip but it was frustrating to spend thousands of dollars for this...
