This is the perfect apartment for anyone looking for a central location, close to several metro lines and the RER, restaurants, shopping and attractions. The apartment was everything we expect, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, comfortable beds and fans to help with the warm September days. Jean Francois provided all the details we needed for the apartment prior to our arrival and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this apartment for any length of stay. I would’ve been very happy and comfortable for a month here, even though we only had 6 short nights.

Rental is very much as described. Beautiful little place on a quiet street right in the heart of Paris. Metro station right at the end of the block. A great place to stay for exploring the city with a lot to see and excellent places to eat close by. The host was fantastic too, with fast and clear communication. Nice rental guide with all instructions and recommendations provided too.

Having a washer/dryer was a life saver for us “carryon only” travelers. We were a little worried about the heatwave but there were plenty of fans and an AC unit we didn’t end up needing in the apartment. We were well stocked with linens and pillows and loved the very quiet location in one of true busiest neighborhoods in Paris. We had a fantastic stay.

We had an amazing time in Paris and this was the perfect place for our family of four. The girls (10 and 13) loved the bunk area and the apartment was quite comfortable and perfectly located. Would definitely stay here again!

This apartment was the perfect landing place for our family of 5! It was charming, clean, well-equipped and perfectly situated in the heart of Saint Germain for easy access to restaurants, the Seine, shops, and transportation, but did not feel busy or loud. The feel of the neighborhood and the apartment itself invited leisure and room to wander without rushing. It was a quiet oasis in the heart of the bustling city. We also appreciated having our own laundry after spending a couple weeks traveling across Europe. Jeff was easy to message with and very responsive to any questions we had. We loved everything about it and would happily stay here again!

The apartment is located on a quite street but convenient to get to everywhere. It smells a little strange maybe because it is a really old building. When we arrived, the 3 fans were at their maximum, maybe to get rid of the smell, not sure, but they were super loud. We dropped off our luggage and went sightseeing, and when we came back, we discovered it did not have Shampoo or body wash, and it was super late for us to get them. The towels are also very old and scratchy. The next morning, I discovered the sugar was expiring 2024, disappointed for these kinds of small details at this price. no need to say there was no AC.

I left the fans on their maximum to be nice to you as Paris was in the middle of a heat wave... The listing clearly states that "personal hygiene items are not supplied, just basic soaps" ... And the same regarding the AC...! I have all linens and towels shipped from the US and I can assure they're not old as I take care of them myself. Sorry you did not like my place. I am happy to see other guests do though. Stay safe.

Outstanding location. A quiet street, surrounded by a lively neighborhood. Easy walking distance to many attractions, as well as a metro stop just a few feet away. Apartment is small, but efficiently organized. Although it can sleep four, it is probably most suitable for a couple.

the only positive thing is that the apartment is in a convenient location, everything else is below expectations. too expensive for a hole like this. I saw two huge rats under the window. There is no bbq, although it is listed in the offer. I would not recommend this apartment

This apartment is superb--cozy, charming, well equipped, and remarkably quiet, yet near the center of Paris. It's close to bustling cafés and outstanding sightseeing, including Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, and the Cluny Museum, and within walking distance (20-25 minutes) of the Louvre and the Orsay Museum. Yet it's located on a quiet, peaceful street. The kitchen has everything you need, the big bed is comfortable, the shower is effective, and the washer-dryer is helpful. In short, the apartment, its amenities, and its location are terrific.

This was the PERFECT place to stay in Paris. Such an amazing location from which to explore the city, walking distance to many popular sites, also near the transportation hub from which you can get anywhere. My wife and I had a great stay here over New Years. The apartment was well furnished and very comfortable for the two of us. It’s in a perfect location on a quiet street that is still centrally located in the 6th. Our host Jean could not have been nicer and was extremely accommodating when our travel plans got disrupted. I will stay here again and would 100% recommend.

I would highly recommend this apartment! We loved that it was located on a lovely, quiet medieval street, so we never had to deal with noise at night, especially since we tend to go to bed early. Also, in Paris, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area is absolutely the place to be. We would walk out of the apartment and, just steps away, find wonderful restaurants, cafés, and shops. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, even without air conditioning during 90-degree weather in Paris! I also loved the shower ! The water pressure was perfect, and it was so easy to adjust the temperature exactly how you wanted it. Also, having a washer and dryer in the apartment was wonderful! The best part, though, was dealing with our host, Jeff, who was incredibly kind and quick to respond to all of my emails and questions, even though I later discovered that all the answers were sitting in a folder on the table that I didn’t open until the day we left! 😀 I stayed there with my husband and our two grown sons, and everyone truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Jeff and Elisabeth!

What an absolute perfect place to call home for 5 days!! We could not have asked for a better spot. Close to the Metro, The Louvre, Notre Dame. The apartment has everything you need. You won’t be disappointed.

My parents bought this apartment in 1961. I've lived in it during my studies and had the opportunity to experience some of the best years of my life in this neighborhood. I now share my live between my home in Paris and the U.S working in real estate. I love animals and small well-behaved doggies are welcome in the apartment.

Why they chose this property

It really is a 'secret' place in the heart of the city. The building was erected around 1760. Some original features in the apartment date back to the construction days, such as an old wooden beam on which a carpenter practiced his talent. When the windows are open, you can hear the bells of Notre-Dame in the distance.
A security safe in the wall is available.

What makes this property unique

You can get anywhere in a matter of minutes.
The architect who designed the Louvre pyramid lived in this building two floors above while the works were in progress.
