Having a washer/dryer was a life saver for us “carryon only” travelers. We were a little worried about the heatwave but there were plenty of fans and an AC unit we didn’t end up needing in the apartment. We were well stocked with linens and pillows and loved the very quiet location in one of true busiest neighborhoods in Paris. We had a fantastic stay.

This apartment was the perfect landing place for our family of 5! It was charming, clean, well-equipped and perfectly situated in the heart of Saint Germain for easy access to restaurants, the Seine, shops, and transportation, but did not feel busy or loud. The feel of the neighborhood and the apartment itself invited leisure and room to wander without rushing. It was a quiet oasis in the heart of the bustling city. We also appreciated having our own laundry after spending a couple weeks traveling across Europe. Jeff was easy to message with and very responsive to any questions we had. We loved everything about it and would happily stay here again!

the only positive thing is that the apartment is in a convenient location, everything else is below expectations. too expensive for a hole like this. I saw two huge rats under the window. There is no bbq, although it is listed in the offer. I would not recommend this apartment

A Barbecue??? In Downtown Paris ??? You obviously must have gotten your review or listing confused with the places you rented in Eastern Europe prior to coming to Paris this summer... ! Outstanding location. A quiet street, surrounded by a lively neighborhood. Easy walking distance to many attractions, as well as a metro stop just a few feet away. Apartment is small, but efficiently organized. Although it can sleep four, it is probably most suitable for a couple.

This was the PERFECT place to stay in Paris. Such an amazing location from which to explore the city, walking distance to many popular sites, also near the transportation hub from which you can get anywhere. My wife and I had a great stay here over New Years. The apartment was well furnished and very comfortable for the two of us. It’s in a perfect location on a quiet street that is still centrally located in the 6th. Our host Jean could not have been nicer and was extremely accommodating when our travel plans got disrupted. I will stay here again and would 100% recommend.

A wonderful, cozy stay. The location is absolutely superb and the flat is very comfortable. The pictures and reviews don't do this apartment justice at all - this is a beautiful little hideaway in a perfect location for all your Parisian adventures. We were looking for a location near Notre Dame, with sleeping arrangements for three people that didn't require a sofa bed, and this was ideal. While there's excellent use of space (the second bed is in a loft area above the kitchen), the apartment never feels overly small or crowded. It has a well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, and good sized lounge area, and comfy beds. The location is in a quiet, one way street nestled between two busier streets, and you enter the apartment via a common courtyard behind a locked gate. You're a short walk to Notre Dame (5 mins), two metro line stations and a RER station (on the CDG line). There's ample eating places a very short distance away, and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. Jean-Francois was always responsive, and very helpful and accomodating when we had to rearrange plans due to necessary flight changes (and had a personal link with Australia!). He has amazing attention to detail, and there was nothing more we could have wanted for to improve our stay. We're looking forward to staying here again next trip to Paris.

My parents bought this apartment in 1961. I've lived in it during my studies and had the opportunity to experience some of the best years of my life in this neighborhood. I now share my live between my home in Paris and the U.S working in real estate. I love animals and small well-behaved doggies are welcome in the apartment.

Why they chose this property

It really is a 'secret' place in the heart of the city. The building was erected around 1760. Some original features in the apartment date back to the construction days, such as an old wooden beam on which a carpenter practiced his talent. When the windows are open, you can hear the bells of Notre-Dame in the distance.
A security safe in the wall is available.

What makes this property unique

Just so central.
You can get anywhere in a matter of minutes.
The architect who designed the Louvre pyramid lived in this building two floors above while the works were in progress.
