Quiet, clean spacious accommodation in a lovely part of the world.
Close enough to Hinton for provisions but quiet enough to feel you are in real Canada. Opportunities exist to see wildlife (bears, deer and elk).
Excellent host with easy access to property
This was a perfect location for us. We had a wedding reception across the street. The bride lives around the corner. Park across the road for 3 yr old to play in. 4 bedrooms for 6 adults and a child. Hinton is only a 20-25 minute drive if you want groceries or dinner. The mountain view is spectacular

Pros and cons
The house was renovated but the two bedrooms in the basement were musty. Only one bathroom which was difficult when you have a larger group. We were there for a wedding and the house was very close to the hall. Very beautiful area.
The house was cozy and the owner was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of trouble finding the lock box because it was on a door inside an enclosed porch on the side of the house. Two of the four bedrooms are in the basement, which kids would probably love, but our group was all adults and nobody really wanted the basement since the only bathroom was on the main floor. The kitchen was nice and well-equipped and grocery stores were about 15 minutes away. Based on the description, I thought the house was a bit closer to Jasper; however, took an hour to get to the national park, which meant we spent an extra 2 hours driving every day. We enjoyed all of the beautiful scenery in the area and the house met our needs.

This is a beautiful community and a peaceful space. Shopping is accessible to stock up with groceries. Wonderful option for group or family to enjoy the natural surroundings. Jasper is a reasonable drive away. Owner is friendly and happy to share history of the area and help with any questions or concerns. I will stay again.
Property was well kept and clean. The owner was responsie when there was an issue with the keys and my own misunderstanding on enclosed porches. House ad nore than enough room for our family of four and the park across the street was ideal for kids. We saw a bobcat and deer right near the home too.
This house was just what we needed. It’s 30 minutes from the Banff gate and 1 hr to jasper town. There is one of the best playgrounds imaginable immediately across the street, and our kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is in the town of brule, which is tiny with no resources so get groceries and gas on the way there - a number of stores and gas stations are located 20 mins away (on the way to the park) in the town of Hinton. The house itself was clean, well maintained, with descent kitchen supplies, working internet, and comfortable beds. It’s a straightforward house rental, again, exactly what we needed. A little art work on the walls would go a long way. We would stay here again.

Family Wedding at the Brule Hall, walking distance to the venue. The community is quiet will amazing
This house was perfect for our two families.
Clean, cozy, giant yard with a covered outside area.
The host was easy to communicate with
Horse riding adventures are close as is a trip to jasper but still get the quiet mountain scenery at night
House was just as advertised. clean and comfortable in the perfect setting. We would definitely come back here and would recommend to other family and friends.
Comfortable homely place with loads of space & amenities to make our stay a real pleasure.
Brule is great if you want peace & tranquility.
Views of the local hills & mountains stunning in the Fall.
Watched a few DVDs when the weather closed in!
Lovely house in a lovely quiet area. Property had everything we needed. Is a bit of a drive from Jasper but worth it for the peace and quiet with spectacular views nearby. Can see the mountains from the property and we also saw deer. Would stay here again.
As others have noted, Brule is a bit remote with no facilities to speak of and a distance from Jasper townsite. It is about a 20-minute drive to the town of Hinton where you can find gas/groceries/restaurants.
The home is well equipped and comfortable. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was well supplied. The gas grill worked well also for a couple of our meals.
The back deck provides a nice area for relaxing with table and 4 chairs.
We took a walk around the town in the evening and encountered no traffic and only a couple of other townspeople.
At the end of the main street is a trail leading into a interesting canyon.
Hinton itself had some interesting stops - the Beaver Boardwalk was a hit.
North on Rt 40 is a Provincial Park that offers a number of trails.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Brule and would recommend the home for anyone looking for a quieter stay with access to Jasper.
We really enjoyed our stay in Brule. Initially we weren’t sure because it is quite far away from everything but the tiny little town has a lot of charm.
The main floor of the house has been updated and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The basement is quite “rustic” and smelled a bit mildewy but my teens didn’t mind.
The Jasper park pass was a bonus we weren’t expecting.
We would stay here again.
Kitchen was well appointed and the home clean. Quiet small village it was a great location for our planned hikes and star gazing is spectacular ( away from ambient light).
It's a simple house with excellent renovations and a well-stocked kitchen. The back yard was quiet, and there wasn't a peep from the neighbours. Just be sure to come with your groceries before arriving in Brule. It's a bit far to go back and forth to Jasper every day (if that's what you want to do) but the value and the comfort are well worth it. A great getaway!
Très belle propriété chaleureuse ! Amplement d'espace pour un groupe de six. Tout était très propre. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. La propriété est située dans un coin isolé et très tranquille. Nous avons grandement apprécié !
