Un emplacement de rêve, du matériel de cuisine et de la vaisselle à foison. Avec même de quoi faire un petit feu de bois dans la maison prêt à démarrer. Des espaces avec des volumes très grands et agréables. En revanche tout est « vieillot » et la maison manque d’entretien (plafonds, tapisseries qui tombent, boutons de placards) des toiles d’araignées dans de nombreuses pièces et des insectes rampants par ci par là. Certains matelas mériteraient d’être changés et les draps d’être renouvelés et mis à la taille des matelas.

Week-end en famille

Reunion de famille dans ce cadre magique et hors du temps. Proche de tous commerces et côte de granit rose et en même temps sans vis à vis et dans un cadre bucolique. La maison /château est superbe. La literie est bonne. On se sent vite chez soi. Je recommande.

Etwas ganz Besonderes

Wir haben in einer Gruppe von zwölf Leuten einen tollen Urlaub von 14 Tagen verbracht. Die Hausverwalterin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und war bei allen Anfragen sehr nett. Sie wohnt in einem Häuschen auf dem Gelände, das macht die Kommunikation einfach. Es ist ein ganz besonderes Gebäude, sehr alt und ehrwürdig. Das Parkett erzählt Geschichten. Wie es in einem solchen Gebäude so ist, es ist schwer so sauber zu halten, wie wir das von modernen Häusern gewohnt sind. Die Bäder waren aber sehr sauber. Wenn einem das nichts ausmacht und man die Besonderheit schätzen kann, ist es rund um empfehlenswert.

L'accueil par la personne présente a été très chaleureux. La situation du manoir au milieu des arbres, près de la mer et du port nous a particulièrement plu. Nous nous sommes sentis accueillis dans cette maison de famille comme si nous en faisions partie, ce qui ajoute au charme du lieu. Un grand merci !

Manoir atypique dans un parc magnifique

Très bon accueil d'Ines. Merci de nous avoir laissé le droit d'accéder plus rapidement au manoir le vendredi idem pour notre départ qui a pu être le lundi après-midi. Gros Bémol pour la propreté du manoir ! toile d'araignées, poussière, vaisselles sales, sols sales... Manque de communication entre Ines et la gardienne. La gardienne nous a demandé plusieurs fois l'heure de notre départ et ça dès la veille et à répétition le jour J. Très déagréable !

La vie de château

Propriété extraordinaire avec beaucoup de caractère dans un parc très agréable. Conforme à la description et parfait pour un groupe de 10/12 personnes. La gardienne nous a très bien accueilli. Ballades magnifiques sur le sentier côtier et possibles sans prendre la voiture. Nous aimerions tous revenir!

Eine schöne Zeit in einem ganz besonderen Haus

Bei der Ankunft waren wir zutiefst beeindruckt von dem ganz besonderen Manoir in der Umgebung der schönen Bretagne. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem riesigen naturbelassenen Gelände, wo es zahlreiche Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder und Erwachsene gibt. Es ist ein Paradies für Menschen, die das Besondere lieben. Wir haben mit unserer großen Familie eine unvergessliche Zeit in diesen 2 Wochen in diesem historischen Ambiente des Manoir "Rochefontaine" verbracht. Das Haus hat auch eine hervorragende Lage, um von dort Unternehmungen zu machen. Insbesondere die Nähe zum Meer mit der atemberaubend schönen Felsenküste der Cote de Granit Rose ist zu erwähnen. Vielen Dank an die freundliche Gastgeberin und die Gardienne, die sich stets freundlich um alle Belange rund ums Haus gekümmert hat. Das Objekt ist absolut empfehlenswert!

An Unique Breton Accommodation

Our group of four couples spent a very interesting four nights at Chateau Rochefontaine in early July, 2022. This grand old stone mansion is entered on ground level through a modest kitchen. The hallway at the back of the kitchen provides access to a very large dining room, an adjacent TV sitting area and a game room as well as to two bedrooms, one bathroom and two toilets. A stone circular staircase provides the only interior access to two upper levels which have a variety of different bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets. On the first upper level of the chateau is the very large library with its extensive sitting area and great two-story window. All furnishings and fixtures throughout the chateau are relatively old but functional. A stay at Rochefontaine is recommended for large parties looking for a past-times property with plenty of Breton character.

Magnifique et paisible, nous etions une douzaine, et quel plaisir de passer du temps en terrasse, entouré d'arbres, ou la nuit tombée, au premier étage, dans l'enorme salon. Que du positif, merci encore.

Site d'exception mais rafraîchissement indispensable pour certaines pièces!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour car la maison est hors du commun, le parc immense et la région superbe. Néanmoins, certaines pièces et surtout la cuisine nécessitent une véritable réfection car vétuste et mal entretenue. La gardienne ainsi que la gardienne sont agréables et disponibles mais le rapport qualité-prix n'était pas au rendez-vous pour nous.

I am 49 years old and I spend part of every holiday at Rochefontaine since I was born. I live and work in Paris but I am deeply attached to this area, with its pink granite rocks, the strength you can feel, the beauty of the sea and the beaches.

Why they chose this property

My great grand mother bought this house in 1930, after the Great War. She came every summer with her children and would go for a swim every day. My grand mother continued the tradition, today she is 98 years old which can tell you how healthy is the climate! I took the house over in 2000 and little by little, I modernised everything while keeping the originality.

What makes this property unique

It is a house full of memories, with good vibs. It is elegant and solid, fully constructed of granite on granite. The park and the house are very well maintained by the caretakers who are both welcoming and discreet. Linen and sheets are provided. The house is very close to many wonderful and diverse beaches and the Sentier des Douaniers calls for nice walks. The beds are comfortable, you will sleep well!
