We really enjoyed ourselves at the Casa La Petite France! I highly recommend this resort. It is very close to the beach and the host and hostess are very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed a relaxing stay at Casa La Petite France
We were very close to a nice uncrowded beach. We also enjoyed biking to town for groceries or going to the many shops and restaurants. The other guests and staff were friendly and we would definitely recommend this for a one or more months stay.
Vincent’s place in Puerto Morelos was perfect - exactly what we were looking for. The beach access was amazing and taking bikes into the village was a nice, flat 10 minute ride. And Vincent was an incredible host, super flexible and communicative. We also loved meeting Lucas! If we go back to this area, we would definitely stay here again.
I came for a weekend trip. It was perfect, and just a few steps from the beach. The room is very neat and clean, and has all that you need. AC cold entire room, unlike a lot of places that I’ve stayed in the past. Not too far from town, just follow the beach. Vincent is a great host and explains everything quite well. I will definitely visit again
Only a 30 minute ride from the airport.
Great location - right on the beach! About a 25-minute walk or 10-minute taxi ride to el centro de Puerto Morelos. Vincent was very kind and helpful. He's a French transplant to this area and has been here for decades. Speaks English and Spanish as well (and maybe others, we didn't ask). Very clean rooms, (albeit the decor is a little tacky), with a small kitchen and plenty of ventilation. Check in was easy as he expected our arrival - make sure you message him with when you'll get there so he can let you in. He gives you keys to the gate to the property as well as your room so you can come and go as you like. There's a small terrace with ocean views as well. Highly recommend staying here!
I want to 1st start off by saying, this was one of the best times I've had in a long time
The room was just perfect size for me.
Had everything I needed.
The lady of the home *Arelis* was an amazing host 🙌🏽.
The location of the property is a walking distance from the beach.
I can't wait to visit again.
Thank you Vincent and Arelis for being such wonderful hosts ❤️

Vincent's place is absolutely lovely—nicer even than the pictures—and in a wonderfully quiet location. Vincent himself is an outstanding host. The apartment has all the necessities and is quite comfortable. The terrace has a beautiful view of the sea. The place is located just across a dirt road from the beach. It's very private and quiet, and an outstanding place to relax. I will absolutely stay there again!
Vincent was great. The property is a bit far from town and surrounded by resorts but then most of the coastline has succumbed to that. The place was darling, clean and well stocked. Bikes provided. Price was a good value.
Very pleasant property of 4 bungalows. Everything was clean and there was everything we needed. It’s also a few steps away from the beach in a calm area. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Very nice
Had a hard time locating. Once there very pleasant.
it was surprisingly big, and very clean, with full kitchen and a lovely owner. It would have been the perfect place to stop over and rest before traveling onward, but unfortunately there was a band practicing on the roof next door (30 feet away) with amps which made it impossible to nap. Apparently the band comes every winter, so definitely check! I moved out so I could take siestas in the afternoon.
We had a great time here, Vincent was a great host and all of the information on VRBO is quite accurate. The place is a little outside of town but it is easy to bike or walk in, and the quiet and freedom is very nice. Thank you, Vincent!

Enjoyed our stay at La Petite France
La Petite is a lovely little bungalow- a short bike ride or longer stroll on the beach to town. We enjoyed our bike rides, beach chairs and also the rooftop patio. Vincent is the perfect host, friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer :-)

Perfect alternative to an obnoxious resort!
Vincent is low key yet very helpful. The location is 2km from town so lots of beach walking. Great for the backpack style travellers like us.

get what you pay for
I give this place 3 stars, Its cheap and love how close to the beach it is and puerto morelos town is 35min walking distance.
Now the not so good.
We had a SCORPION running around in our room. I took some cool pictures of it.
The internet connection was horrible wife and I had to go eat at more expensive places in puerto morelos to use there WIFI for social media.
Vince also didn't say to bring our own beach towels and a hair dryer. So bring your own.
The bedding sheets and towels gets changed once a WEEK.
And if you can figure out how to use the 18inch TV good luck.

Great hidden gem!
La Petite France is a quiet and tranquil retreat. Right on the beach it takes no time to be paddling in the ocean. It is a 20 minute walk down the beach to get to the town.

Peace and quiet steps from the beach.
Le Petit Francais is a hidden gem just steps from a quiet section of beach 2 kilometers from Puerto Morelos. At first we were daunted by the distance, but we quickly became accustomed to the 10 minute bike ride to town for dinner each night. The studio was clean, comfortable, spacious and full of light. Vincent takes excellent care of the property. He is a detailed person and friendly.
We cooked in the well equipped kitchen. Be sure to clean up well, as there are hungry ants in the tropics.

The Perfect Host
Petite France is run by the perfect host. The apartments are clean and well equipped. You can tell Vincent pays attention to details; from the fruit and coffee he has waiting for you to the bicycles he has for your use, everything is taken care of. There are beach chairs and even sun umbrellas. He even very kindly drove me to the large grocery store so I could stock up. Friendly, helpful but not intrusive. Just the ultimate host!
The apartments are a 10 minute ride to the square and even though the road is pretty well lit you should bring a headlamp. You can walk the beach to town in about 30 minutes. Petite France may feel a bit remote if you arrive by taxi in the dark but it pays dividends by having a quiet area of the beach for your use.
I highly recommend this place as long as you don't mind being a bit further from the action.
