Monetier: Sunny comfortable modern flat ideally located for mountain enthusiasts
Our apartment is ideally located for a winter sports holiday and, in other seasons, for discovering the grandeur and challenges of the mountains. Le Dôme is a modern three-storey block built in traditional style. Our second floor apartment has 3 bedrooms, a combined kitchen/living area with south-facing balcony, shower room with toilet, bathroom (with shower attachment over bath), separate toilet, garage, ski store and parking space. We are centrally located in this unspoilt village, 150 metres from village church and shops, 50 metres from the thermal baths and 300 metres from ski-lifts, reached either by a ten minute walk for a family with young children or a two-minute walk to the stop of the courtesy bus service Facilities include a TV, DVD/CD player and WiFi internet connection There is central heating with individually regulated radiators. The kitchen has an electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fondue set, crepe pan, raclette set, dishwasher, 4 ring hob, combined oven, grill and microwave, and fridge freezer plus a broad range of cooking utensils, cutlery, glasses, plates and dishes. Also provided are a washing machine, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. The layout comprises an entrance hall. a combined kitchen, dining and lounge area, 3 bedrooms, a shower room with wc, a bathroom, separate wc and south facing balcony. Furniture includes a double bed, 2 single beds, a 2 person bunk bed, pine dining table with seating for 6, lounge with seating for 6 on the sofa and easy chairs.The communal area floors are tiled and the bedrooms, all with built-in wardrobes and cupboards, carpeted. Beds are supplied with goose down duvets. The entrance hall has a radiator, coat hooks and shelving for drying off ski boots. The lounge looks out to a balcony and a view of the imposing mountains and glacier. The south-facing balcony has a table and 6 chairs for alfresco dining, and two loungers for sunny months. There is a separate ski storage area, and a garage. Outside parking is available in the condominium parking area. Bed linen and towels can be provided at competitive rates if required

We are a retired couple resident in Milan, Italy. We own a second apartment in the valley where, being enthusiasts for the mountains, we spend several months in the winter and summer. Le Dome has been available for rent since 2006 under our personal supervision. It has been occupied for, on average, 18 weeks a year in the winter and summer seasons.
Why they chose this property
The apartment is in the village centre close to ski lifts and the thermal spa with a south facing balcony giving wonderful views of snow capped mountains and glacier.

A modern apartment in an unspoilt mountain village in the Serre Chevalier ski domain (250 kms of pistes) bordering Les Ecrins national park with its peaks of around 4000 metres.
