Property was perfect for 4 of us (3 adults and a 2 year old). Kitchen is small but has everything needed to self cater and was perfectly adequate. Bedrooms and bathroom a good size and lounge/diner absolutely fine too. Amazing location for visits to Talylyn Railway, Barmouth, Honey ice cream, Fairbourne Railway, Cader Idris, Centre for Alternative Technology and more!!
The apartment is in an ideal location and everything there that is needed. It was close to the beach and shops. We really enjoyed our weekend, great communication with the owners.
Enjoyed our stay in apartment 18 over the New Year. The apartment is slightly dated but had everything we need for our break.
Paula’s communication was excellent before and during the stay and helped greatly.
This property suited us as a family because it was close to everywhere that we wanted to visit. It was also opposite the beach and had games that could be played outside that was at the back of the apartment. The only thing that may be an issue for some people is that it is on the 3rd floor but because we are fit and able it was great for us.
Slope roof in both bedroom and lounge tall person would hit his head few times but it is clean and lovely views. Would stay there again. Thanks Paula 😊
The stay at this property was a really pleasant experience, easy to book and lots of info provided online & at the apartment. Paula was very thorough with her information.
Had a lovely 4 night stay, cosy & welcoming & the area was an excellent base, with the choice to venture further afield.
This property has a great location being so close to the sea. Shops and amenities are a short walk away. Car park to rear so no worries there. Quirky and comfortable the accommodation has all you want. Would definitely book again.
Magnifique endroit calme en face de l'océan. Lits très confortables, nous avons très bien dormi.

Enjoyable stay at the seafront
We enjoyed staying in the appartment. Although not mentioned in the description we hoped the balcony ( on one of the pictures) was part of the appartment, got fooled by the pictures of the stairs and came to the wrong conclusion. You can however sit outside across the street for that reason it would have been nice to find some folding chairs to take outside. Bedding was clean and an extra set was available if you would like to change it during your stay. Kitchen is equipped to cook some simple meals, crockery is basic.
The owner is quick at answering your questions. She also sent us a video of dolphins that were spotted from Tywyn beach and we were lucky to see them ourselves a couple of days later.
All in all a we spent a very enjoyable time in this very friendly accomodation.

Very comfortable 2 bed apartment right on the sea-front
Very nicely decorated and furnished apartment. The double bed was really comfortable, it felt like it had a modern memory-foam mattress. If you keep the bedroom window open a little, you get the soothing sounds of the waves breaking through the night. I've been a chronic insomniac for about 20 years and had the best 3 nights sleep here that I've had in a long time!
Plenty of off-street parking at the rear of the property and also free on-street parking out the front. Easy to walk in to town and takes seconds to get on to the promenade for a morning jog or stroll...

Well equipped apartment with great sea and mountain views
The owner has put a lot of thought into this apartment and provided a great information booklet about all the places in the area to visit and how to get to them.

I am married to Darren and have two wonderful children. OK, not so wonderful, as they seem unable to pick stuff up off the floor, communicate without the aid of a mobile phone, practice good hygiene, or walk the dogs! Oh well … I am sure I will miss them when they've gone.
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with Tywyn many years ago and have been coming back ever since. Whether you are looking for a relaxing family break, romantic getaway, or want to explore this beautiful part of the world, Tywyn really is an ideal base for your holiday.
Not only do we have fantastic beaches & the Talyllyn Railway, but we also happen to be on the doorstep of Snowdonia - the UK’s activity capital! We have loads of places to visit, including word-class castles and museums, and offer a huge range of activities to enjoy the Great Outdoors - everything from angling to Europe’s longest zip wire ride.
