Located in the historic area, a few steps from the Douro river, in the middle of Oporto wine cellars, the traditional Rabelo Boats, the Cais de Gaia, the Ribeira do Porto and many other tourist interesting locations. You don`t need a vehicle to move and visit the city, the location of the house allows you to move without the necessity of it. However, if you wish or need, the metro it is just about five minutes walking, sightseeing is an option to. Even located in the center of the historic area, the surroundings of the house are very quiet and provides guests a total relaxing experience, either enjoying the sun on the balcony, eat in the terrace or simply just taste an Oporto wine with a priceless view to Douro river. The beach it’s not far and is possible to reach it travelling always with Douro river on your side, making it a very pleasurable and beautiful trip.
The house has 175 square meters, 3 rooms and 2 complete bathrooms, can accommodate 6 people comfortably. Offers too a cradle and a baby chair for your children.

We enjoyed our stay overall — the property was quiet and offered a great view, which made it very relaxing. The air conditioning was a big plus, especially during warm afternoons.A few areas could use some attention: the pillows were older and not very comfortable, there weren’t enough towels for our stay, the lighting was quite dim, and there were broken tiles in the entryway that could be a safety issue.With a few updates, this could be an excellent place to stay.

Great location and great property!

We spent a wonderful 5 nights in Porto. While traveling, I rarely spend time in the hotel or accommodation - except to sleep, but on this trip we made the time to relax and enjoy the apartment and especially the view. It was well located and just enough steps uphill to work off the extra vihno verde at dinner. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

We spent 3 nights at the property. The location is ideal. Close enough to walk to everything but not hear the crowds. The deck is lovely to sit on and take in Porto with a glass of port after a busy day of site seeing.

Lovely apartment with stunning views

The apartment is straight off the street and hides the amazing view which just adds to the surprise when you enter. Very modern with lovely outdoor space and in a great location to walk everywhere. The hosts were very communicative and helpful at check in. Would highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

The view of the river is very good but there are major issues. The staircase to the 2nd floor is dangerous & a huge liability. There are no hand rails and the stair case is open which is a huge liability for anyone of any age to use.

Best View in the City

We selected this apartment for the spacious balcony and the view of Porto and we're so happy we did. After long day trips and walks across the city, we were thrilled to come back, pop a bottle of wine and relax on the patio. Check in was easy and communication with Ricardo was great. While the apartment could use a little TLC in certain places, the view is unbeatable and I would stay here every time!

Douro Sunset View is simply Wonderful!

Three very private bedrooms on two floors. First floor deck and second floor balcony. Big living room and dining room that are the hub of daily activity. Great kitchen. Very modern. Finally the location is FANTASTIC. Probably a few hundred yards down the hill to the bridge and to the Port Lodges.

The view and location were outstanding! The apartment was very clean but in desperate need of updating and repairs. Two broken toilet seats with one barely usable. The towels were torn and old. The check in process was easy and Marta was very helpful. There is much potential to have this be a 5 star rating just not in the current condition, unfortunately.

This well appointed apartment is truly a gem. My husband, sister and brother-in-law can't say enough about fabulous Ricardo and his wonderful apartment. He is a most charming and knowledgeable host/tour guide. The lovely and chic apartment is within walking distance to everything in Porto yet very quiet at night for sleeping! If you do one thing in Porto, an absolute must is a private tour with Ricardo to the Douro Valley Vineyard tour! Ricardo is a tremendous driver, navigating some very narrow switch backs! His tour took us to a darling little village followed by a delicious lunch next to a charming and small vineyard where tour buses can't go. The scenery was stunning! Ricardo offers other tours but unfortunately we ran out of time! You will not be disappointed with this beautiful apartment or Ricardo. We will be back...four nights is not enough time in Porto! Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here, with beautiful views of the river, the port houses, and rooftop kitties. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed inside. My only complaint is the listing clearly states "Parking on site", which is part of how we search for where we will be staying. I understand that this is a big city, and parking on site is rare, but that is what was expected, not that we would have to pay for separate parking 25EU/day quite a little distance down the block. Worse, the parking lot has terrible and inconsistent hours! It was supposed to stay open until 10pm, but I took the 5 minute walk to get something important out of the car at 830, and they were already closed and locked for the night. Again, I understand that in the city, this may be normal, but the listing clearly states otherwise. This was a huge problem for us, but everything else was wonderful, so I am still giving an overall 5-stars.

En super fin lejlighed med en rigtig lækker terrasse med god udsigt til byen, floden og solnedgang. Der var lidt udfordringer med vandtrykket på det ene badeværelse så vi badet kun på badeværelset nedenunder hvor det virkede fint. Og så savnede vi lidt puder på møblerne ude på terrassen. Men ellers var alt i skønneste orden og vi havde 4 dejlige dage i lejligheden.

Awesome view condo in Gaia

Great location in Gaia with large deck with spectacular view of Douro River and Porto historical area. Access with metro very easy and short walk to riverfront Gaia porto wine district and across Dom Luis bridge into historic Porto Condo was nice but lacked some amenities such as paper towel, wash clothes for dishes and cleaning counters, no garbage bags provided and kitchen sink faucet required repair and no BBQ as shown in pictures. Tried to contact owner a few times to enquire and never received any response, would have expected owner to reach back but nothing. Ice place to stay but it could a little sprucing up as it is starting to show some wear and tear Overall would recommend staying here and enjoying the views from the deck

Vue exceptionnelle et appartement à rafraîchir

On a aimé la situation. Proche de tout, à pied, l'appartement est très bien situé. La vue sur le fleuve est exceptionnelle. L'appartement quant à lui est grand mais en mauvais état. La literie est épouvantable, des chaises sont cassées, la peinture des murs, le parquet, tout est abîmé. Y compris le mobilier, table ou canapé qui ont trop vécu.

Great location and amazing views of the city and Douro River from the wonderful deck. Sunsets were amazing. Great place for 2-3 couples to stay. Easy access to the city. The place could use a little freshening up and there are some needed repairs in the house. Not easy communication with the host. Didn’t diminish the great time we had but would have enhanced it.

Traumhafter Blick aus schöner Wohnung

Tatsächlich das Beste ist der Blick von den Terrassen über den Fluss. Die Wohnung selbst ist großzügig, hat ein wunderschönes Schlafzimmer mit Terrasse und Blick und zwei kleinere Zimmer, die nicht sehr charmant sind. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt, teilweise hochwertig, aber nicht mehr ganz frisch (Sofa, Fußboden). Vitor kam zwar zu spät zum Check in, war aber anschließend gut zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit.

Don't be mistaken by the main door.... The apartment is very well located and just a few minutes walking for all the tasting caves and the Luis I bridge to go to Porto. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Douglas, Ricardo's assistant always available. We were two couples a lot space but the best is this beautiful terrace where we enjoying having coffee in the morning and wine for the sunsets. Parking available 5mins walking $15 par night. We highly recommend this property for your vacation.
