This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home includes a bonus alcove with bunk beds for the kids, and is ideally located just across the street from the incredible Gulf of Mexico in lovely Dune Allen Beach. Sea Spray will make all your beach vacation dreams come true! It features a front porch, and 2 balconies for observing all the action on 30A, as well as limited gulf views. There’s also a community pool for the kiddos to splash in, and the adults will enjoy cooling off in the afternoons after a long hot day on the beach.

The first floor has an open kitchen, dining, and living area ideal for gathering the family together for meals, games, and movie night. The well-appointed kitchen, with large island will make cooking your favorite fish tacos a breeze. If you don’t feel like cooking, Gulf Place Town Center is .5 mile away with several delicious, locally owned restaurants. Don’t forget to check out Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar for ½ dozen naked oysters and an ice cold cerveza. One of the best deals around for sunset.

Easy walk to beach

A very nice house right across the street from the beach. It’s also right on 30a though so be prepared for quite a bit of traffics noise. Also an easy walk or bike ride to shopping and dining area.

Management was great. A couple of suggestions to improve guest experience -- terrible smell from fridge that needs resolution; no iron or ironing board; no throw blankets or extra covers and it was a very cold week; more towels.

Nice & laid back spot right on 30A

House was nice and exactly as described. We loved the location of the house - it's practically across the street from beach access, right on the 30A bike trail, and in a less populated portion of the 30A region (which appealed to us). We had only two small issues, and they are as follows. We were a little disappointed in the view from the 3rd floor (you do have very obstructed views of the gulf), but I was not mislead to believe that it was anything better than described. The only other small disappointment was the grill which was technically available, but not in any shape to actually use. Again - another small issue. Communication and interactions with the rental company were good and efficient, so no issues there. We would absolutely stay at this location again.

Location, location, location!!!

This house is so cute! The decorations are all pretty and I loved all the windows with light pouring in. The layout is pretty neat. I was on the third floor and it could be tiring climbing all those stairs, but I needed the workout. Loved having the pool basically in our backyard. I never saw anyone else out there, but us. The beach walkover is so close and easy to get to. Just across the street. I love how uncrowded the beach was. Perfect! My only minor complaint was that the house could've been a little cleaner. The tubs were both a little dirty when we arrived and the grill was really dirty. Nothing we couldn't clean ourselves. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but manageable. Other than that, the house had and was everything we needed. It was a relaxing vacation!

Please know that we will address the housekeeping complaint with the housekeeper - we apologize, and wish we would have known there was an issue as we would have sent the housekeeper back right away. We take housekeeping very seriously and have no tolerance for our vacation rentals being anything less than spotless. Despite the above, we are glad you enjoyed your vacation at the beach. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future!

Some good some TLC needed

What was great- Location location location - this felt like you were on the water w/o the huge price tag. During this time - we had lots of room up and down the beach a few thousand yards we were so thankful we didnt have to set up our tent at 7am to grab a spot. The beach was amazing and a great feature of this listing. The house is also on a great part of 30a with close proximity to Blue Mountain Creamery, Seaside and other local shops and eateries like Goatfeathers and Stinky's. Now to the other notes...The house is set up a bit oddly and it would have been nice to either know a few things or to have had some better pictures. Here is what we learned...the master is on the 3rd floor and doesn't have a door - it's open access and you can literally hear everything going on below you with limited privacy. The other two bedrooms are good and the bunk beds were fun for our kids. All bedrooms situated on 30a side and traffic on road is constant. Two, the TVs in the bedrooms and kids area are old and do not allow for an HDMI connection like a gaming console or ROKU device. We ended up buying a cheap TV from walmart. Seems like a small investment of $400 would get you 3 adequate 32in TVs to replace what is there. Three, the patio furniture that is in the pictures is not on site anymore and the furniture that was there was broken (rotten legs on two chairs and a love seat) when we sat on anything and we are not large people. We would have enjoyed the decks more if there were actual setting that was pictured. Cookware was sufficient for cooking if you only have 4 people staying, no large pots or pans (one boiler); we bought a set of non stick skillets (that we left) as the one that was there was in bad shape. 1 wine glass, 1 dish rag and 1 dish towel; Last but not least and not the fault of the property owner, but the cleanliness was sub par. When we arrived, lifted rug to sweep some sand and discovered entire rug was sitting on top of enough sand to make a dune. Windowsills dusty and just generally not clean, paint peeling on much of inside trim. After some cleaning, some ear plugs, a few purchases we settled in and really enjoyed our time. Wouldn't take much to make this place amazing with some furniture upgrades, some new cookware and electronics and would have paid more for those amenities. For the beach access we would stay again knowing from other reviews that the owners do care and will take this feedback seriously.

Easy access to beach that isn’t overcrowded

Great family house! We have four kids and it was perfect. The pool is out the back door. The boardwalk to the beach is across the street. We carried chairs and an umbrella back and forth each day instead of renting. We used the chairs and toys that were at the house. There is an outdoor shower by the back door to wash off before going inside. Santa Rosa Beach wasn’t overcrowded like Seaside and some of the other beaches we saw and we were there over July 4th. We watched fireworks from the third story balcony. Gas station/convenient store is a block away and several restaurants and shops are right down the street (bike ride or drive). A slight negative is that the entire third floor is the master suite, which is great; however, there is no door into the room so if you want privacy then you may want to stay in a second floor bedroom.
