Wickham Cottage was extremely welcoming and homely, the perfect place for a get together with old friends. The proprietors of the White Horse pub next door were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed lovely countryside walks straight from the door and a stroll around the pretty nearby town of Corsham - could recommend the Flemish Weaver for food and drink. Would definitely like to return to Biddestone. Thank you.
We had a very enjoyable weekend at Katie and Dan’s beautiful cottage. The cottage was very clean and all the bedrooms were perfectly sized. The outlook from the property onto the village green was so pretty and we enjoyed many walks around the area.
Amazing stay in a beautiful historic home situated in a picture perfect village. We we're lucky enough to arrive just in the for the annual village fete which was a real treat. Communication with the owner was prompt and easy and I really appreciated that the owner was able to organize a pack and play crib for my little one. Thanks for everything, we hope to be back one day.

Gorgeous country house, perfect for family or small group
Check in was trouble free, we received detailed welcome pack in advance which was extremely helpful.
The kitchen and sitting room had everything we needed, big enough for our group whilst feeling lovely and cosy and homely.
Bedrooms very comfortable and lovely feature of baths in both bathrooms.
Was lovely to sit and enjoy some August sun in the garden.
Would highly recommend a stay in this charming country house.

A perfect cottage for a wonderful stay
The Cottage and the village was absolutely beautiful .The cottage was spotless and very comfortable with luxurious bathrooms . A pretty garden at the back with table and chairs was a great spot to relax. We went to the near by Pub The white horse and had a lovely meal . I would defiantly recommend this property and I would love to stay there again sometime.

Great Location and Get Away
We travel to the London area each year to visit family and drag them out of the city. Always in search of a small village, warm cottage and a place to enjoy the English charm. This tiny village did not disappoint with so many other villages so close and a pub just doors away. The cottage itself was clean and efficient, bedrooms and bedding were excellent, the bathrooms were very clean and we loved the "tubs." Kitchen is small but has most everything you would need. The owners were very responsive, we had a small issue with the boiler but they even had a "video" to show us how to reset it. Our only disappointment was that in the instructions sent to us before arrival we were told if we used the fireplace we would need to pay a fee. We were happy to pay any fee to have a cozy fireplace it is one of our requirements when choosing a cottage. However when we arrived it was very clear they had no intention of letting anyone use the fireplace. Not a big deal except we would have wanted to know that before we made our cottage choice. Still. . .great location, very friendly neighbors, good pub and the little pond with the ducks and geese made it all very charming.
