About this property

COMFORTABLE HOME NEAR THE LAKE AND SKIING

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Our house is conveniently located just a few blocks from the lake. We are walking distance to Regan State Beach, and El Dorado Beach (see map), both have public access. The Casinos at Stateline, and the Heavenly Ski Resort are about 2 miles away. Barton Memorial Hospital and Medical Center is 2.8 miles

Public transportation center is 1 1/2 blocks from our house on the main highway, South Lake Tahoe Blvd, in front of the VISITOR CENTER office. The VISITOR CENTER office provides free travel information, maps, brochures and coupon books to local attractions and dining. There are several restaurants, cafe's, liquor store, and bike rental shop just a block and a half down the street on the main highway. All are within walking distance.

The house is cozy and warm in the winter, with forced air central heating, and a full hearth, wood burning fireplace. In the summer, the large, fenced back yard includes a picnic table and bar area for outdoor dining. Our property has street level parking on a paved driveway, with room for two vehicles.

Noise Curfew between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am, 7 days a week. A violation could result in a $1000 fine for a first offense, without a warning.

Michael was very welcoming and available whenever you needed him. The place is so homey and comfortable, it was great to be able to unwind after long days of skiing. We uilized the kitchen (everything you could ask for) and the washer and dryer were indispensable. The location is amazing, nice and quiet, but very close to everything you need. Would happily stay here again.

Great place and great location if you want to be close enough many things without being in the mix down at Stateline. We didn't cook much but for what we did cook the kitchen was stocked more than enough. The beds and rooms were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I had never been to Tahoe so wasn’t familiar with the area. I couldn’t have picked a more convenient location. Everything was within a 5 minute drive- the Heavenly gondola, ski rentals, restaurants/bars, hiking, e-bike rentals, helicopter rides, the lake, grocery store, you name it. It was just my daughter and I so the place was the perfect size and clean. Two bedrooms with one full bathroom, living room with a TV, and a kitchen with everything you need to make home-cooked meals. Exactly as described, no unexpected surprises. Highly recommend.

It’s a perfect place to spend a few winters days in Tahoe. It’s an older house with comfy beds, lots of blankets, a well-stocked kitchen and a few creaky floor boards for the ultimate So Lake experience. Very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. The fireplace is a bit tricky so we relied on the gas furnace instead. Lots of options on the TV.
