Located on golf course with wonderful views from inside your suite or sitting on your porch. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath, keeping room with 50' flat screen tv, wet bar area equipped with coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator is the perfect place to truly get away. Golf, hike ,shop, and explore our beautiful mountains. Come for golf, wedding, hiking or festivals. Towns of Dillard, Clayton, Scaly,Highlands and Franklin are only 10-20 minutes away.

Golf Trip and Relaxation

Second stay here. We enjoyed the large, well furnished porch overlooking the 6th fairway, with plenty of privacy. The tasteful furnishings gave the feel of a cozy mountain cottage. We played golf and drove to Highlands, NC for some excellent dining options. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and will certainly stay again. Highly recommend.

The property is beautiful and the vrbo hosts were fantastic! Kitchen area is pretty small but the amazing deck does have a nice Webber grill which is helpful. We will go back!

Memorial Day Weekend Golf Getaway

Sparrows Rest is the best! We had a wonderful 4-day stay filled with golf, hiking, shopping, and dining. Sky Valley location is close to the Highlands and Clayton Georgia but far enough away to be secluded, peaceful, and quiet. The golf course is the main attraction but there are plenty of other things to do. Sparrows Rest is the perfect place to stay so you can experience all the area has to offer.

Anniversary Trip

The host was very nice and welcoming, even going so far as to leave snacks and bottles of water to help us feel welcome. One thing I was not aware of when we booked is that the condo is located on the basement level and the host lives upstairs. It wasn't a problem, just not something I was aware of when we booked. Aside from that we had a good experience staying at this condo.

2nd Stay; Golf Get-away

This is the second time we've stayed at Sparrow's Rest. It is an ideal spot for us since we play golf. The location is on the 6th fairway and very close to the clubhouse. The 2 bedrooms have King beds and separate baths. Everything is clean and cozy - perfect for our golf get-away!

Comfortable and peaceful

My husband and I met our son here for four wonderful days of golf, beautiful weather, a day at Clingman’s Dome and time together as we live in Florida and our son in Charlotte. The beds were comfortable and we slept well and spent a lot of time on the veranda overlooking the golf course. Very clean and Pamela and David were very accommodating. We hope to stay again.

Very nice layout for 4. Tastefully decorated - the beds were extremely comfortable and the view is beautiful. Very clean! Just a note - there is no stove or oven so cooking is not an option. Only 20 minutes to the Highlands. We enjoyed this peaceful weekend!!

Just What We Needed

My wife and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway during the Bear Shadow music festival. We also like to play golf and Sky Valley has a wonderful golf course. The accommodations were wonderful, right on the 6th Fairway, quiet easy to access, and close to everything we wanted to do. Thank you Pamela for providing Sparrow's Rest to us!
