Our spacious 269sq meter Luxury Self Catering Holiday Cottage is situated in the heart of Scotland with Glasgow International and Prestwick/Edinburgh airports a short drive.

Countryside Silence with a city vibe in only 20 minutes.

Well situated and placed in Central Scotland for travelling. Including secure private parking for five vehicles. There is nothing quite like it in Glasgow, we made this comfortable large house ideal for families and get to gethers.

With ample living and dining space in the large, double height gallery lounge you can sit back and relax. Our beautiful bespoke Clive Christian kitchen with microwave, washer & tumble dryer, range style cooker, American fridge/freezer (with water dispenser) & dishwasher.
Downstairs there is a King-size bedroom and toilet.

Upstairs, a gallery landing provides access to three further bedrooms and a stunning family bathroom with a massive jacuzzi bath with a separate shower.

The outside seating area to the front of the property offers spectacular views to the valley. We provide a BBQ, all our gardens are manicured and lawned.

Our goal is to provide you with a fully equipped unique, high-end, boutique style cottage. There are many spaces to be totally private inside and out.
As well as full-time discrete polite staff, we appreciate our guests have different schedules, our key safe entry allows self check in.

Super stay.

A wonderful stay visiting family and friends in and around Glasgow. House was super if a little quirky (boars head /antlers) and had everything we needed. I would say you do need a car but Strathaven has plenty of shops as well as a super bakers in Taylor’s. Hosts always ready to help. 👍

Family Retreat

Staying in this this country house was great for what we were looking for. We have extended family in the area and this was a good location to move around and see them from. The house was great and spacious with lots of room for my family and in-laws. If I could make any recommendations, a booster for the wifi so it would work better in the main living room and maybe a better description regarding the barbeque in the listing as we were not prepared with charcoal. That could be on us as well though. All in all, Yvonne was an amazing host and if you are looking for a country retreat, I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely home, with some limitations

The house was spacious, comfortable, warm, and easy to stay in. The host and the staff, as well as the welcome, were lovely and accommodating. They left wonderful goodies for both the children and the adults. The limitations went to function. The kitchen is pretty, but it has only a bar sink, not very useful for washing up. The stove and microwave could benefit from instruction manuals. The hot water was finicky. And the internet service was 3 MB (somewhat slow) and intermittent (but that could have been a provider, not a house, issue). All in all, we'd stay again because it was such a comfortable place, despite the limitations.

This property is a very large period family home it offers fantastic space with views and Luxury.

The property would ideally suit large family get to-gethers and is particularly stunning over the festive season. The village has wonderful restaurants and country pubs only a five minute drive away.

Well situated for traveling around Scotland, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports with-in easy reach.

What makes this property unique

With a Jacuzzi Bath for two (bath is a real Jacuzzi not a whirlpool) the living space of 269 Meters makes this property unique and very large in size with private parking for 5 vehicles/vans/trailers/horse boxes, quads.

Having a separate Clive Christian dinning table for 8 persons separate from the kitchen dining table makes the house perfect for entertaining.

We have very fine 18/10 gold plated cutlery as well as Vilroy & Bosh dish ware.

Our quality mattresses and pillows are all protected, Goose Feather and down duvets. We use high thread count quality Egyptian Cotton bed linen and Hugo Boss luxury bath sheets and towels, some toiletries, house coats & slippers. We have wooden & velour or ladies silk evening ware hangers and protective cloths covers. There are salon powerful hairdryers and straighteners.

Quality cooking pots/extensive Crockery & beautiful serving dishes (especially at Christmas and new year) Cutlery & fine Glassware for 12 (min). We also have basic provisions such as a full range of teas/coffee/sugar/salt & peppers, olive oil, ketchup/spices etc., so you only really need to buy the actual food if you want to cook.

We also have a king bedroom and toilet downstairs. Two of our bedrooms have private vanity sinks in them.

We provide a child’s high chair & infant seat riser, a travel cot/mattress/bedding, a stair gate, baby monitors and a full range of baby products (just in case) we have a large selection of games/puzzles/books/cd’s to keep even the youngest amused.

We can also organise anything you need or require in advance of your stay. We also have other Holiday properties on site, so we can cater for large groups all at the same location.
