Idyllically nestled at the entrance to the Burren and close to the Wild Atlantic way, it is a gateway to the best West Clare has to offer. Casa Ceol’s family friendly farm-like setting is an opportunity to experience a relaxed break at an easy distance from town and attractions.

Casa Ceol is a 2-story property with 3 bedrooms and will comfortably sleep 6. Homely cottage feel with modern comfort, its an airy, open-plan design and brightly furnished rooms are the perfect complement to its tranquil setting. Make the most of creature comforts like a reading nook, a private outdoor terrace, underfloor heating, and two bathrooms - one with a shower, the second with a bath.

A quiet retreat

We really enjoyed our stay and tour of the farm. Host was charming, place was lovely, however there was no deck/patio, no hot tub and no bbq as advertised, however host did offer to lend us her bbq. Would recommend.

Wonder stay

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We have been to Ireland several times and would definitely recommend staying here. Brenda gave us a tour of the farm and told us about the area and recommended locations we had never been to before. We don’t mind driving places so this location worked very well for us. We looked forward everyday to the farm dogs and cats coming to say hi every morning and evening. Kids would really enjoy this location I’m sure.

We had a very comfortable stay. The remoteness was good for us as we love walking. We would have liked the TV working but due to storm no TV or movies. Loved the cats and dogs. Overall cosy, welcoming, clean, rural and great for our family reunion. Thank you to Barbara and family.

Perfect country cottage

Barbara was a wonderful host. We enjoyed her tour of her family farm and the cottage was a perfect location for exploring nearby attractions (cliffs of moher, the burren, castles, Aran Islands, Galway, Limerick to name a few). The cottage was quiet, roomy and comfortable, and had everything we needed during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic home away from home. Less than 10 minutes from Ennis and with good highway access to attractions like the cliffs of Moher and the loop. We loved the flexibility of our own kitchen, washer and dryer and blessed peace and quiet. Barbara our host was very helpful and wonderful. It is great farm stay with 3 bedrooms and excellent wifi and TV.

This home was all that I could have asked for. The setting, the host, and the location were all perfect. Barbara was so very warm and welcoming. The house itself had everything needed for a perfect stay. Warm, clean, and inviting. The animals of the farm were a huge bonus especially the dogs. I would recommend this home to everyone planning an Irish vacation.

Barbara was great and enjoyed playing with dogs and cat. Only suggestion would be blinds or curtains in living area since guest house is attached to Barbara's house as an L addition with windows facing main house.

Better than we could have imagined!

Hosts were welcoming, very helpful, and friendly. The first thing we all noticed was how comfortable we all felt being at Casa Ceol. After a long trip to a country we had never visited that was so important. It was the perfect home base to visit the many interesting landmarks, Castles, parks etc in Clare and surrounding counties. Can’t wait to return some day.

Perfect spot for our Ireland adventure!

We loved our stay at Casa Ceol! It was situated in a great location for our day trips out along the west part of Ireland. Ennis was the perfect size town with good grocery options, restaraunts, and pubs. The house was perfect- comfortable and clean. Barbara and Kevin were wonderful hosts. Very accommodating to your needs and incredibly friendly. My husband and I even jumped a ride into town with Kevin and the girls one night to watch him play at a local pub. Our only disappointment from the stay was that it was cut short by a hurricane...in Ireland!? Definitely would recommend!

We didn't want to leave!

We had an unbelievable time staying at Casa Ceoil in Ruan near Ennis, County Clare. This property is absolutely beautiful, especially if you love animals. Everything was incredibly clean with all that you can ask for- a great sitting area, washer/dryer, big kitchen table and comfortable bedrooms. Barbara was so kind and we loved touring the farm. One thing we all loved was the clean water with amazing water pressure! We were really sad to go as my adult children had made friends with the cats, dogs, goats and horses. They're talking about going back already. This property is also close to everything but rural enough for quiet walks to a castle. I would give this 10 stars if I could. Thank you Barbara!

Loved my stay at Casa Ceoil!

Loved my stay at Casa Ceoil! The host was friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful with the house and with suggestions for sightseeing in the area. The house is clean, well-appointed and comfortable with plenty of room inside and out for my 4 additional guests. Included are amenities like strong Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, linens, laundry soap, etc. that added to the comfort of my stay. I felt right at home in the countryside and even experienced a foal being born. Casa Ceoil is ideally situated on a farm, and only 15 minutes from the picturesque town of Ennis with plenty of traditional Irish music and close to historic sites like the Cliffs of Moore, Ennis Abbey and Craggaunowen and only 20 minutes from Shannon Airport. I would recommend Casa Ceoil to adults and families with children. You will have an amazing stay.

Our family had an amazing visit at Casa Ceoil! The property was full of life (dogs, horses, goats,cats, and chickens). The house was centrally located within the county so we were able to take day trips. After our adventures we would be greeted by Luna (the sweetest dog)! One of the mares had just given birth a week ago so we had the opportunity to visit with their new foal. The house was appointed well there was no need for anything it was well stocked with towels, dishes, ect. The house was clean and very comfortable! Barbara was wonderful she provided a lot of information about the sounding sites and places to eat in Ennis. We highly recommend Henry’s Wine Bar in Ennis, the food was fabulous. If you are looking for Irish music Knox’s Bar and grill is a great place in Ennis, however the food was typical bar food nothing special. Go there for music and the drinks! Overall we had an amazing holiday in Ireland! You can’t go wrong if you decide to rent Casa Ceoil it was a highlight of our trip!

We are a family with varied interests and a love for country life. Irish traditional music, food, gardening, husbandry and crafting are large parts of our life.

Our home is multilingual and multicultural. Kevin is originally from County Clare and met Barbara in his travels abroad, who is of Chilean and Swedish origin. Their girls are raised in Ireland and enjoy a variety of influences and languages in their lives.

We love our little corner of the world, and are happy to share our knowledge and give you a taste of country living in Clare.
