About this property

Stunning, luxury cottage, mountain views, near Kinvara, Wild Atlantic Way.

Normangrove cottage, sleeps up to six people and has been described as 'a little slice of heaven', set in the stunning location of The Burren on the Wild Atlantic Way. Luxurious and cosy, situated just 3 miles from the vibrant & musical village of Kinvara with fantastic pubs & restaurants. 40 mins from Galway City. Close to Aillwee caves, Cliffs of Moher & several beaches. The perfect base to explore the West. Uninterrupted views, a large garden with trampoline and swings and all the comforts of a five-star hotel.
The cottage has two bedrooms - a master bedroom with stunning mountain views and a King bed and two single beds in the twin room. All with the highest quality bed linens and towels. In the living room, there is a comfortable double sofa bed, a real fire, and a kitchen with all you need for a home-from-home. The luxurious bathroom has a whirlpool bath.
The large garden is shared with us if we are home, but we are very mindful of your privacy. The cottage also has a private deck, perfect for watching the sunsets. We have three very friendly dogs - 2 collies and a Newfoundland (a gentle giant). They love people and love to play with children. The cottage is surrounded by meadows and there are lots of walks on the doorstep.

Fiona & Sean greeted us as soon as we arrived, they are lovely people and you can tell they take care and pride in their property. The views were spectacular and only a 5 min drive to Kinvara. The cottage was a perfect getaway for my wife and I to experience Western Ireland, we highly recommend!

STOP LOOKING, STAY HERE!We've never been to this beautiful country before, so our booking process was not researched or thought out. We saw the posting and decided it was the one for us, on a hunch. Best decision ever! We popped a tire as soon as we rolled into the property. Sean & Fiona were there to greet us, despite an almost 10PM arrival, and insisted that Sean check the tire in the morning and assured us that we should relax and let them take care of it. Fiona took us into the cottage and gave us the tour. There was no comfort forgotten; our hosts had even set us a fresh pitcher of milk for our morning coffee. Every inch of the property was clean, well maintained, and beautiful. In the AM, Sean took our tire off of our rental, placed our car on bricks, loaded the tire into his truck, and drove my husband and I into town to fix our tire. He then took us on a courtesy tour & showed us the village. At no point were we expecting our hosts to be our AAA agents or personal tour guides, but that's just who they are. Humans who care about humans first, who take great pride in making peoples' lives just a little more vibrant. There are many beautiful properties around the world, in many beautiful settings. This property would rank among the best of them, and somehow, that is the least interesting thing about it. Fiona & Sean are what makes this the best VRBO to ever exist and they are the best representation of what Ireland has to offer! Thank you again! Nicole and Alex
