Holiday House Villa Suvi at the lakeside Finland - Feel at Holiday and at Home
Villa Suvi, built 2015, is a comfortable and modern hand made log house. It's new, yet having a lovely feeling of a real wilderness cottage. There is municipal tab water in the house, electric sauna and shower with warm water in the house. Toilet is inside the house. Fireplace and geothermal floor heating keep you warm, air conditioning keeps you cool during hot summer days. Good roads take you to the villa and there is lighting on the yard.
On the beach we have a nice, spacious,relaxing sauna - enjoy with your family, friends or colleagues. We have bicycles, boats, possibility for fishing and other activities - ask for more information!
Villa Suvi situates at Lake Syysjärvi. The water of the Lake is clear, spotted by islands and surrounded by green forests. Nearby we have villages, manor houses, farms and beautiful lively towns. Possibilities for cycling, walking and boating are excellent. Do you enjoy fishing? Or winter sports, perhaps? Enjoy your day with a good book? Our cottages are stylish but cozy, modern with an atmosphere of a wilderness cabin. The region has rich history and culture and a lot to experience during your stay.

We situate 20 km from a nice small town Mikkeli in Southern Finnish lakeside. We have here beautiful forest garden, spacious yards and the beach with saunas, boats, canoes etc. We do our best to let our guests have a really nice holiday, and welcome them to a clean, well equipped and beautiful cottage. We help our visitors to start with their vacation without extra stress, help with sauna, boats etc.
Why they chose this property
The place is just 20 minutes away from the small but lively town of Mikkeli, so it is easy to go shopping, eating out, taste strawberries or coffee at the market square and visit places to see from the villa. Mikkeli Region (St. Michel) is full of culture, among others old manor houses with restaurants, art museums, market square etc. At our place we have good roads, street lights, and all modern equipments in the house. Still it's a forest place in the country side. There are canoe routes and bicycle routes nearby. Our lake has clear and fresh water and its good the swim here.
What makes this property unique
Our region has a real Finnish countryside atmosphere and long history with lakeside living and many manor houses which today function as restaurants, handicraft shops etc. It is very easy to catch a fish, pick berries or mushrooms, take photographs, go cycling or boating or canoeing. Or just enjoy the log house, read a book, and rest. We have outside camping fireplace in addition to a grill. And in the house we have a fireplace of course, too. In the house there is a piano, good tv, beautiful table ware and nice house decoration.
