Fantastic view

The house has the most fantastic view and we really enjoyed the patio in the morning and evenings. The location is great view short walk to good restaurants. Be aware that the small road to the house is VERY steep and not for the light hearted. We ended up parking on a nearby paid parking lot which was still convient and not expensive.

Wonderful view on Funchal

Excellent stay in appartment. Location is up the hill with a wonderful view on Funchal. Two full bedrooms and all facilities ok. We’re lucky to have two saturdays with nice firework. The island is more than worth visiting.

Great stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Great views of Funchal from the terrace whilst enjoying a glass of wine. Well equipped modern apartment. A short walk to shops and the centre of Funchal, but is a steep walk back and definitely not for those with mobility issues. Overall a great location and a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful house in a great location

Loved this house. Very comfortable, very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Fantastic view from the balcony. Great location only ten minutes walk from lots of restaurants and the supermarket. The tours all pick up only 5 minutes walk away. It is a steep walk home at night but this is Funchal, everything is uphill. Didn't get to do everything we wanted to in just one week so we will be back!

Great location

Clean, newly furnished apartment just 10 minute walk into old Funchal. View from apartment is stunning. Madeira is hilly! So good workout for calves (although you could get taxis easily). Found lots to do in and around Funchal. Here with two teenage daughters. Bed in second room has pull out. Tasty restaurants (check out trip advisor where if you prebook you can get hefty discounts on meals, Goya Restaurant was an amazing evening ... catch buses 1,2 or 4), weather really pleasant, blossoming shrubs and trees everywhere. Pedro organised our taxi to and from the airport which was really helpful. Fab holiday!

Incredible view, but steep climb.

The location of this place rates either a one or a five, depending on the person, and for the same reason. It is located up on the hill overlooking the harbor and the town. The view is to die for. So if you are young and fit and the climb up is no problem, then it is all good. In fact, quite fabulous. But if you have a problem with climbing you can take a cab from in front of the park below for about 5 euros. Just be aware that some cabdrivers don’t know where the address is, so have maps with the location pulled up on your phone before getting into the cab. And make sure it is a regular size cab, not a big van, because the street is very narrow and winding. Having said all that, you get to stay in a real Funchal neighborhood, not a tourist Mecca.

Eine Woche Funchal

Diese großzügige Wohnung hat eine ordentliche Grundaustattung dazu 2Bäder und 2 Schlafzimmer. Küche ist mit allem Wichtigen ausgestatte.Wer mit dem Leihwagen unterwegs ist, der sollte ein kleines Fahrzeug wählen, weil die Parkmöglichkeit sehr beengt ist und zum rangieren wenig Platz bleibt. Nur was für erfahrene Fahrzeugführer. Die Aussicht ist einfach schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Vielen Dank an Pedro Alves der uns persönlich empfangen hat und uns alles gezeigt hat.

exactement ce que nous avions recherché

On peut l'appeler maison, on peut l'appeler appartement - peu importe. L'habitation est construite sur une autre habitation, et les entrées respectives se trouvent dans deux rues distinctes, chacune à la hauter de la porte d'entrée de l'habitation respective. L'habitation est d'une propreté parfaite, la cuise est parfaitement équipée - on est restés un mois et on s'est souvent fait à manger - et Pedro est sympathique et répond immédiatement. Les voisins sont en grande majorité des résidents locaux. La vue de la terrasse - ou même de la salle de séjour - est à couper le souffle. On est à 10 min du centre commercial "Plaza" (ex "La Vie") et à 15 min de la promenade le long de la mer. A pieds. Un magnifique parc juste à côté. Le seul éventuel caveat: Les derniers 100 m pour arriver à la maison sont raides. Non: raides. Même en bonne forme physique, c'est un exercice de cardio. On peut évidemment prendre un taxi pour quelques €.

Sehr schönes Appartement nahe Funchals Altstadt

Tolle Aussicht mit Blick zum Hafen, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, zwei Badezimmer. Der Parkplatz erlaubt nur einen kleinen Mietwagen – Auffahrt nur für geübte Fahrer. Einzig einen Sonnenschirm haben wir vermisst, sonst war alles prima. Pedro war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Funchal im November 😎

Die Wohnung lag für uns in einer perfekten Lage mit super Ausblick auf Funchal. Bis auf einen Sonnenschirm haben wir nichts vermisst. Fragen an die Vermieter wurden immer schnell beantwortet. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Schöne Wohnung mit wunderbarem Ausblick

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich und der Vermieter freundlich. Nachdem man die steile Straße hochgekommen ist, belohnt einen der tolle Ausblick. Nachts war es soweit ruhig und das Bett sehr bequem. In der Küche haben wir nichts vermisst. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Wohnung sehr genossen!

Haus mit toller Aussicht in der Altstadt von Funchal

Es war alles zur vollen Zufriedenheit, das einzigste was nicht stimmte war das es sozusagen ein Apartment im obersten Stock eines Hauses war. Ansonsten sehr schön gelegen seh gut eingerichtetet Küche, sehr angenehmes Bett. Man sollte aber mit BErgen keien Probleme haben ansonsten ist ein Auto empfehlenswert.

Top Aussicht und sehr schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung ist ruhig und hat einen traumhaften Ausblick auf Hafen, Altstadt und Meer und einen netten Balkon. Tipp: etwas schwierige Parkplatz-Zufahrt mit dem Auto, daher eher einen Kleinwagen als Mietwagen wählen, damit man auch in der Einfahrt einparken kann.

Aufenthalt in Funchal

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber,großzügig und hat einen superschönen Ausblick auf die Stadt und auf das Meer. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und großzügig. Einziges Manko: Den letzten Tag hat es stark geregnet und da hat es sowohl ins Wohnzimmer als auch ins Schlafzimmer ununterbrochen rein geregnet. Trotzdem würden wir jederzeit wieder genau dort unseren Urlaub verbringen.

Herrlicher Blick über Funchal und dennoch zentral gelegen

Die Ferienwohnung hat eine große Fensterfront zum Balkon und ist dadurch schön hell und der Balkon bietet eine tolle Sicht über Funchal zum Meer. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Sackgasse und hat deshalb wenig Straßenlärm. Außerdem ist sie nicht weit entfernt von einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten Funchals Sehr zu empfehlen.
