Jasmineiro III, spacious and comfortable

Dives, sun and a great tan are our proposal for the twelve months of the year, in this large and cozy apartment, situated very close to the center of Funchal.

The natural light and the large terrace make guests' delights in good times with friends or family!
This magnificent duplex is on the sixth and top floor of a quiet and sunny building. Its outdoor space invites you to sunbathing and diving in the pool, located in the gardens of the condominium.
With two accommodations, both spacious with double bed, this apartment sleeps up to seven people and is equipped with everything you need.
Do not forget to "use and abuse" the fantastic balcony, from morning to night!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Situated in one of the most prestigious areas of Funchal, this flat is close to supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, bars, theatres and the Casino of Madeira.
Next to the Casino you will find the lovely Santa Catarina Park, with large green areas for jogging, relaxing or picnicking overlooking the amazing bay of Funchal.
The location is ideal for exploring the city by foot (reaching within ten minutes walk the cathedral, the marina and the city centre) or by public transport (bus stop is within two minutes walk).

GETTING AROUND
Although a aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within five minutes walk distance from the flat, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get there. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Wonderful place, great location

Very great location. Near many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Large apartment with awesome rooftop as well as a separate balcony. Great online recommendations for things to do in Madeira. Easy parking available underground. Overall a wonderful stay. Would stay here again.

Lovely week mid March

Spacious, quality accommodation in good area, up a small hill off the main road. Large rooftop balcony with bbq. Well equipped kitchen. Quiet pool with secure play area adjacent. Wi-fi signal was good in main living area but poor in bedrooms. We enjoyed the area’s local restaurants and bars. Agent was helpful and flexible. Would recommend.

Very nice apartment, ideal for two couples

Very nice apartment, ideal for two couples (two equal bedrooms, separate bathrooms). Great roof terrace with views over Funchal and space for two cars in the underground garage.The location is excellent, close to the center of Funchal, yet quiet.The service from the An Island Apart Team was excellent, especially Jessica was very helpful.The apartment's furnishings, although complete, are a bit dated. This particularly applies to the kitchen equipment and the brick barbecue, which is gradually falling apart.The owners would only need to invest a small amount to achieve a full rating, so it remains a "good" rating.

Long term rental in Funchal

We stayed 8 weeks in the apartment which is very different than a short-term rental. The apartment was adequately furnished but more comforable and cosy touches are missing. Outdoor furniture in particular was not comfortable. Location is fine, but the apartment is too close to other buildings and privacy is compromised.

O locatie foarte buna si aproape se centru. Sunt toate cele necesare in interior.

Recomand locatia. Are un view superb pe terasa de la ultimul etaj. Ar trebui o poza noaptea, sunt casute pe munte pline de lumini, o panorama excelenta. Intr-adevar am citit despre problema cu apa calda, care mai curge rece cateodata, dar ne-am descurcat, isi revine.

Lovely flat in excellent location

My family and I stayed in this flat in mid-April 2019 and it certainly lived up to our expectations. We have 3 teenage boys and it is often rather difficult to find sleeping arrangements that suit us. In this case, the accommodation was perfect, with a separate bedroom for the eldest and a very spacious top floor room with two big sofa beds for the younger ones. The main bedroom is huge and really well fitted out, with an en-suite bathroom (even jets in the the bath!), loads of cupboard space, comfy bed etc. and it feels like being in a luxury hotel room. The flat is set out over two floors with plenty of space, dining kitchen, separate dining table and lounge area with TV, open air terrace on the first floor with another table, then the top floor with sofa beds and TV - but the absolutely best bit of this flat is the huge open air space on the top floor with beautiful views to the mountains at the rear of the property. There are chairs, tables, umbrellas, driers for wet towels, a BBQ. The apartment block also has a nice swimming pool area with sun loungers and while we were there we were the only ones using the pool. The location is really good, easy walking distance to the town centre (5 to 10 minutes). I would definitely recommend this accommodation and I would definitely stay here again. The communication with the hosts was also excellent, they always replied really promptly and organised us a taxi from the airport who brought us directly to the accommodation and was in contact with our hosts to let them know when we would be arriving.

Nice apartment overall - bit dark if there were no lights on as it is mainly north/west facing. The roof top would have been more usuable if the patio chairs etc had been out - the stone table/seats are rather unforgiving and need some cushions!. What a shame there were no sunbeds to enjoy the sunshine we did have up there. Getting in and out would have been easier if there werent quite so many keys and codes to use - but if you are very security concious, that may suit ! The front door key needed sorting as if it didnt work first time, it took ages and a lot of fiddling to get the door open.Shower in the bathroom was poor pressure wise - new hose needed. Could have done with a few hooks etc for dressing gowns/coats to hang, particulaiy wet coats ! Other than those minor niggles, convenient place to stay, and beds/settees were comfortable. A good week despite some rain!
