Beautiful situated Finnhouse with nice yard at the foot of the Schoorl dunes.

Complete privacy in this Finnish sunny wooden house, surrounded by an enclosed garden by the dune and forest. At 5 minutes walking distance from the climbing dune and the charming village of Schoorl. This house has an open space with living room with open doors to the garden and a kitchen diner with open doors to the sunny veranda.
The light basement has:
- 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed
- bathroom with shower, toilet and 2 sinks
Underfloor heating is available throughout the house.

The kitchen is brand new (2023) and fully equipped. The bathroom is completely renovated (2024).

The spacious garden has a dining table, an infrared sauna. The house has a sunny veranda.

Erholung im Grünen

Wir wurden von Madeline sehr freundlich empfangen und in alles Wissenswerte eingewiesen, den Rest haben wir uns aus der Infomappe entnommen. Ein super schönes Haus mit sehr viel grün, verschiedenen Sitzplätzen außen, mit Sauna, Außenkamin und alles was das Herz begehrt. Sehr schön eingerichtet, überall gab es was zu entdecken und man hatte viel Platz. Bei uns war leider ein Problem mit der Heizung, Madeline schickte umgehend am nächsten Morgen Toni vorbei der uns erstmal ein warmes Haus verschaffte. Die Heizung im Bad ging leider nach wie vor nicht, als dann der Klempner vorbei kam und erklärte das ein neuer Heizkörper seit der Badsanierung kommen soll aber noch nicht geliefert wurde, hatten wir auch dafür Verständnis, denn es wurde sich gekümmert. Das man in diesem Sommer die Heizung benötigt, hatte ja keiner geahnt, doch in der unteren Etage wo auch die Schlafräume sind, ist es dann sehr klamm und die Handtücher trocknen nicht. Aber dafür gab es einen Trockner und wer muss/mag kann auch die Waschmaschine benutzen. Die Einfahrt muss nur genauso langsam genommen werden wie die Geschwindigkeitshügel auf der Straße, mit unserem Caddy war das problemlos. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus und Schoorl, gerne kommen wir wieder.

Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben unsere Woche in Schoorl sehr genossen. Das Haus hat Charme, die Einrichtung ist nicht neuwertig, aber sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, auch für einen längeren Urlaub mit Selbstversorgung. Die Dünenlandschaft ist wunderschön zum Radfahren, die Städtchen im Umkreis auch einen Ausflug wert, in dem kurzen Zeitraum haben wir nur einen Eindruck bekommen, wir müssen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Urlaub mit Kita Kindern

Die Kinder im Alter von 4 und 5 Jahren hatten gute Spielmöglichkeiten im Garten und fühlten sich wohl. Auch die Ausstattung mit Waschmaschine und Trockner war gut. Nur die Dusche war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man musste sie bedienen lernen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Wir waren 2 Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist optimal, sowohl für Badetage am Strand, als auch als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in ganz Nord-Holland. Es gibt viele Wander- und Radwege in direkter Umgebung und auch Restaurants und Supermärkte sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Die Unterkunft selber war sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben die schöne Veranda, Terrasse und Garten sehr genossen. Die Schlafzimmer sind schön kühl, da sie sich im Untergeschoss befinden, Ideal für einen warmen Sommer. Das Bad ist klein, aber ausreichend. Das einzige was man wissen sollte ist, dass die Treppe sehr schmal und steil ist. Das ist mit Gepäck nicht ganz so einfach. Und dann ist die Auffahrt sehr lang und schmal. Für größere Autos vielleicht nicht so gut geeignet. Für uns aber kein Problem, da unser Auto nicht so breit ist. Wir hatten nur das Problem, dass wir mit dem Auto beim rückwärts rausfahren aufgesessen sind, addiert Rampe vom Bordstein etwas steil ist und unser Auto recht tief liegt. Wir haben dann rückwärts eingeparkt und dasging dann gut. Wir können das Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Ruhig und abgeschieden

Wir haben uns wohl im Haus gefühlt. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und eigentlich ist alles notwendige auch vorhanden. Betten waren bei Ankunft bezogen und selbst Handtücher standen zur Verfügung. Gelegenheiten zum Entspannen wie den Kaminofen im Garten konnten wir gut nutzen. Schlafzimmerräume sind im Sommer recht angenehm kühl. Das Objekt ist renovierungsbedürftig. Dennoch ist die Lage für uns passend gewesen. Parkplatz und Einfahrt sind nicht für große Autos geeignet.

Tolle Umgebung, Haus leider etwas ungepflegt

Schoorl ist ein toller Ort, um Urlaub zu machen. Das Häuschen ist ansprechend eingerichtet. Leider hätten wir es zu dem Preis gepflegter erwartet. Draußen empfing uns auf dem Gartentisch ein längst vertrocknet e Pflanze sowie ein lange nicht gefegtes Grundstück, drinnen Spinnweben. Zu Zweit war der Platz ausreichend, für mehr Personen wäre es eng. Einen Kontakt zu den Vermietern gab es nicht, dafür eine wirklich freundliche Betreuerin.

Komplettes Haus - für Aktive Familien

Haus liebevoll eingerichtet und v.a. sehr komplett. Lage ist sehr gut, Strand auch mit unserem 7jährigen in 25min mit dem Rad erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Bäcker, Bioläden) und Restaurants in 10min zu Fuß erreichbar . Keller Schlafzimmer in heißen Sommer bestimmt angenehm kühl . Dieses Jahr - da nicht so heiß , war es etwas klamm. Badezimmer hat kein Fenster , was es bei 4 Leuten zum Duschen noch etwas feuchter macht. Der Garten ist nicht zum Spielen geeignet , wer also aktive Jungs wie wir hat, muss das Haus verlassen , dass die Kinder spielen können. Abzüge gebe ich für Sauberkeit (das Haus schien länger nicht vermietet und hatte Schimmel im Bad, der Gartenbereich war Laub und kleinen Ästen übersät, im Aussenkamin lagen Zigarettenkippen) und vorübergehenden Lärm (der Nachbar hatte sich unseren Aufenthalt zum Bau seines Pools ausgesucht, dh. LKW Lärm und schweres Gerät für 4Tage). 2 Hinweise noch, die Terrasse ist nicht überdacht, nur überwachsen - hatten wir erst nach einer Regennacht völlig durchnässter Wäsche gesehen ;) und die Hebepumpe im Bad im Keller ist recht laut - d.h. Die Eltern sollten duschen bevor die Kinder ins Bett gehen. Frank und Nicolette waren ein ausgesprochen angenehmer Kontakt. Normalerweise würde ich 3 Sterne geben - da der Lärm aber mit Sicherheit nicht permanent ist, bleibe ich für die Leser hier bei 4 Sternen.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie in dit mooie gezellige huis gehad. Het sfeervolle huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De mooie omgeving maakt het geheel helemaal af. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Schöne Tage in den Dünen

Die Lage des Finnhauses ist wunderschön, am Rande der Dünen. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es ca. 20 Minuten zum Strand. Das Haus selber hat alles, was man braucht und ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mooi houten huisje in het groen

Gezellig houten huis, verstopt in veel groen, waardoor vrij donker in huis. Heel compleet, privacy. Douche, toilet en slaapkamers in het souterrain, daar was het lekker slapen tijdens de hitte. Tweede toilet aanwezig in het schuurtje, dus niet op begane grond in huis. Het was niet superschoon, maar aangename tijd gehad.

Wir haben die Zeit in Schoorl und in dem Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet und hatte ein gute Lage. Schoorl mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants waren sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Tolle Lage, liebevoll dekoriert, gemütlich, sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr nette Vermieter. Die Kinderzimmer-Wände könnten bald eine Renovierung vertragen, die untere Etage war bei der Hitze angenehm kühl, an kühleren Tagen war es allerdings etwas feucht/klamm.

Sehr schönes Haus, man fühlt sich wie Zuhause

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche im Haus. Gut und sehr freundliche eingerichtet, alles vorhanden, sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieterin. Super nahe beim Dorf gelegen. Was wir nicht so gut fanden, war das kleine 140 Doppelbett, mit nur einem Bettzugang (andere Seite Wand). Ansonsten alles super!

Great holiday in a nice house

We spent 7 days in this lovely house which is well equipped and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed spending time in the nice living room and kitchen as well as being in the cosy garden and on the sunny veranda. The beds were very comfortable and nights were very quiet. The house is the ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful area either by car, by bike or just by walking. We spent a lot of time hiking in the dunes which are located just across the street. Trips to other cities like Alkmaar, Haarlem or Amsterdam were very easy by car. The house is located close to the center of Schoorl so that restaurants, a big supermarket and other stores are located within walking distance which was very useful. This ensured that our fridge was never empty. ;-) Thanks to Nicolette and Frank for a warm welcome and a very good time in their house!

A perfect vacation in perfect Environment

We were 4 Persons. That was a brilliant vacation. The house is simply super and perfectly equipped. Nothing is missing and it is beautifully decorated. The central location is perfect. We spent a sunny week in a cosy environment and felt super comfortable. Thank you Nicollete for the great communication and the smooth process. We'll be back :-)

really charming place

Couple with 2 Kids charming house - second row so less noisy - also sleeping rooms open towards the back beds are really comfortable and you have a nice porch with evening sun, a nice little Yard with a barbecue grill - Kids can run around without concern. Wifi is great - and the Location is really only 5 Walking minutes away from the klimduin - another great place for the Kids to Play whilst we enjoyed our time in one of the Close-by Restaurants. Beach? we rented bikes and enjoyed the ride - but it's not really Walking distance - about 6k thru the lovely landscape of duins. Took bikes rather than the car - so many places near-by can be reached that way. dutch People are really relaxed. Weather wise we were also lucky - not too hot so house did cool down and we had good night sleeps. Something negative to say? really gotta scratch my head. Did not get the TV to work but also did not bother given that we spent the time better. Also some Moskitos punished our Kids - but that's really all.

Fantastisch mooi huis, rustig gelegen, prachtige plek.

Bijzonder mooi en luxe afgewerkt huis met een heerlijke tuin rondom. Het ontbrak ons aan niets. De ligging is perfect, direct bij de duinen en net buiten het dorp.

WoW! Lovely house surrounded by the most beautiful nature

Happy stay in this wooden characteristic Finn house. Waking up by the sounds of the birds, great hiking and biking area. Every morning fresh bread from town only 8 min walk. Long strolls on the stretchy beach is rejuvenating. Clean house!

We are Frank and Nicolette, living in in Utrecht. Since we instantly feel so relaxed staying in duinhuis Schoorl we started to live half here and only rent out the Duinhuis in the summer.

Why they chose this property

The wooden house is surrounded by nature and 30 minutes bike to the beach. We love to hike and bike in the dunes, getting a barista coffee and the famous applepie @ Joop at just 5 minutes walk.
