About this property
2 Bedroom, family and pet-friendly, cosy cottage in stunning Perthshire.
Located in stunning Perthshire, our beautiful cottage in Abernethy is a great base for you to travel and discover Scotland or just relax in the peaceful village. Lots of beautiful walks, great running and MTB trails and close to St. Andrews for golf.
Our cosy cottage has all amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It has two bedrooms, one double bed bedroom (standard sized double bed) and a small cosy twin bedroom, this room can be made up with twin beds or a single. We have a small dining area in the well equipt kitchen, that can seat 4, a comfy l isiving room and the bathroom is upstairs, located next to the bedrooms. There is no gas in the village, so the cottage is heated by electric heaters. The hot water needs to be turned on when needed and takes approx. 30mins to heat up, the tank allows for a shallow bath but we have an electric shower. Please turn off after 30 mins.
The cottage has on street parking and generally you can park next to the cottage or a 1 min walk from the village Main Street.
The cottage has free WIFI, FreeView TV, DVD player with lots of games, boxsets and films.
3 miles away, visit the recently opened Lindores Abbey Distillery. After a 500-year break, whisky pilgrims will finally be able to see Single Malt distillation happening once again on this historic site.
