About this property
Stylish Holiday Home Stratford on Avon, Dishwasher, Parking!
Welcome to our cosy holiday home! Our Cottage is a fabulous mix of old and new and is centrally located so no car is necessary. We are a 3-minute walk to Shakespeare's Birthplace and The RSC Theatre is about 7 minutes on foot. There is an abundance of Restaurants and coffee shops within a 2-3 minute walk as are all the shops.
For those wishing to visit the Cotswolds, the journey is about a 10-15 minute drive to the start of the Cotswold villages.
Our home has lots of decorated touches to make it feel like a home away from home to make your stay a special one.
We are dedicated to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests, ensuring the property is thoroughly cleaned between stays. Fresh towels are provided on each bed, and we kindly ask that you remove your shoes in carpeted areas to help us keep everything in top condition.
Arrival and Access
We aim to meet our guests upon arrival, but if that’s not possible, you can access the house using the key in the lockbox located to the right of the front door next to the doorbell camera. The property will always be fully ventilated between stays to ensure a fresh welcome.
We provide a good supply of cleaning products for your use, but please avoid putting antibacterial wipes down the toilet as this may cause a blockage due to the old, narrow pipes. We ask that all dishes be placed in the dishwasher and run before you leave. Please ensure no unwashed items are returned to the cupboards. Additionally, please empty the bins, remove any food from the fridge, and place them in the outside bin for collection.
We Appreciate Your Review
If you’ve enjoyed your stay, please take the time to leave us a review online and share our details with friends. We have business cards available for you to take.
Dining & Local Recommendations
There’s a laminated list of recommended local restaurants on the dining table, many of which offer delivery or collection services, so you can enjoy great meals without cooking! Our house is just a short walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, and historical attractions, including the Theatre and Shakespearean landmarks.
Accommodation Details
Ghost tours, a buzzing restaurant district, or a night sky perfect for stargazing our pretty town has it all.
The cottage blends original features with a modern twist and has two bedrooms each having new Orthopedic memory foam mattresses which our guests love: one king-size upholstered bed and one room with two single beds. The bedding is white with high-content cotton bedding and both rooms have either blackout curtains or shutters so you are not woken by daylight.
The Master bedroom has a dressing table with a vanity mirror and in the top drawer, you will find a hair dryer. The guest bedroom has a chest of drawers and a double wardrobe with a mirror and WIFI is available throughout the house.
The bathroom is a luxury hotel-style space with a freestanding bath with a waterfall tap, a separate shower, and a large wall-sized mirror with a shelf for your toiletries.
The spacious lounge has a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a coffee table with a central fireplace, leading to a dining room with a circular oak dining table with four chairs leading to a modern kitchen, and a utility room. The staircase leads off the dining room and has handrails all the way up the staircase. A pretty & private Courtyard garden with a BBQ is perfect for alfresco dining in the summer months.

About the host
Hosted by Arden Holiday Lettings

I'm a busy Mum of three sporty boys and a husband who shares the same passion.
My two youngest are at University in England and eldest works in sales remotely from Australia.
We love to travel and I have lived all over the world from Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the USA and Europe. We love the Theatre and eating out and we both are members of a local health Club.
My youngest two boys love to hire a motor or rowing boat and go down the river Avon when back and not working on a summer's day and my eldest son is living back on the Sunshine Coast in Australia.
All are keen golfers and are members of our local Club on Tiddington Road.
You have plenty of pay-and-play courses around though to challenge the lowest of handicaps.
If walks are your thing there is an abundance of those to right on your doorstep and the Stratford Races is also a big draw for those wishing to have a flutter.
The RSC Theatre attracts people from all over the World and we are often there taking in the latest plays with the most amazing actors and even the Ballet!
The Cotswold is a 15 minute drive away where you can go back in time with some truly stunning villages.

Why they chose this property
Our property is perfectly located to ensure visitors can visit all the major attractions easily "mostly on foot" so no car is necessary. Our house has a great mix of old and new and I pride myself of making sure the place is always meticulously clean. We have an abundance of instant hot water so showering is never a problem.
We like to think our home will be your home away from home during your stay and added decorative touches that make it feel homely!
