This part of the house was originally used to press the olives from the land to make extra virgin olive oil.
Ideal for a family of 4- 5 persons (put up bed for child under 12 years).
It has now been carefully restored to preserve the original feel.
Ground floor - dining/Living area with corner kitchen and shower room. One double and one twin bedroom with the space for an additional bed/cot if required.
0ne of 5 beautiful apartments in farmhouse set on 14 acres of olive grove, each with private shaded verandas perfect for dining "al Fresco"(sleeps 16+4) boasts a large infinity pool with its lovely gardens ,positioned so that the wonderful view can be enjoyed in the sunshine from early morning to sunset also a large communal panoramic terrace. Superb private position above the medieval town of Figline Valdarno,

Leider hat es oft geregnet.

Wir haben super nette Vermieter angetroffen. Der Pool ist mit einer tollen Aussieht bei gutem Wetter sehr schön. In der Küchenazsstattung ist es etwas spartanisch. Man konnte sich gut bei Regen im Keller Tischtennis spielen.

Relaxing, Clean and very comfortable in every way. Views, shade and sunshine whenever you need it.

The property is absolutely spotless, welcoming and delightful in every way. Sunshine, views, shade, excellent eating facilities outside each room and a fabulously clean and accessible swimming pool where the sun shines all day. We will return.

Beautiful spot

The property was a good size and well equipped. There isn't an oven in the apartment but that wasn't a problem as there is a good gas hob and microwave and a barbecue if you want. We loved the beds, comfy and a good size. Everything was spotless and well laid out. We loved the apartments own terrace and also the shared terrace which had a beautiful view. The pool is a really good size so we could have a good swim as well as cooling off and had lots of loungers and a shower. Enzo and Paulo were really helpful and generous and helped make the stay special.

Memorable stay in Tuscany!

Our family had a great stay in Tuscany that was to a large part due to the excellent accommodation and hospitality we experienced at I Gelsi. We had been travelling for a number of months but the beauty of I Gelsi was that it was truly a retreat in which we could relax as a family away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. Nestled in the hills above Figline Valdarno it was a wonderful, peaceful stay in which we could enjoy driving to some amazing places such as Pisa, Florence and Lucca then head back to I Gelsi for a quiet night. The infinity pool was refreshing and the kids loved swimming/playing in the very well maintained and large pool. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back in the future. The owners are very helpful and made us feel right at home. It was truly one of the best places we stayed in on our world travels. Thank-you Enza and Paolo.
