Chalet l'Hermine, Alpe d'Huez, district Vieil Alpe, 90 m2

The chalet Hermine welcomes you in a privileged and wooded setting located at 1760 m above sea level.
Delta type chalet located on the top of rue des Sagnes in the Vieil Alpe district near the tourist office which is accessible by a pedestrian path in 10 minutes. You will find on the spot all the shops necessary for your stay.

Ski back possible on foot depending on snow cover (usually until mid-March).

To access the lifts you will have three options:
- take the sloping path starting from the chalet (300 m sloping) and access the new shepherds' gondolas or the telecentre in 10 minutes. This solution is however not accessible to small children due to the elevation.
- go down rue des Sagnes for 300 m to the blue "village" track giving you access to the cable car lift in Huez
- go down rue des Sagnes for 300 m and take the free shuttle which will drop you off at the shepherds in 10 minutes.

Chalet completely renovated in 2017.
With two south-facing terraces with breathtaking views of the Oisans and Muselle mountains, the chalet is made up of four levels including fitted roof spaces and is ideal for two families with children.

A ground floor / entrance with:
- a dining room, a wood stove, a new fitted kitchen
- a bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a sink

A 1st floor with:
- a bright living room equipped with a sofa bed (foam mattress 120x190),
- a small independent bedroom of 5 m2 with double storage cupboard (90x190cm bed)
- a bathroom with sink, bathtub and WC
- a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, additional small fridge

A 2nd floor completely renovated in 2017:
- a south side bedroom of 10 m2 with a 160x200 cm bed
- a room on the north side of 8 m2 with a 140x190 cm bed
- a hallway with a large closet

Converted attic space (11 m2) accessible by a ladder with two 90x190 cm children's beds. Height 120 cm under ceiling

You will also have a ski room and two closed garages. This last point will allow you to avoid the inconvenience of parking, which is often problematic in season.

Great location within walking distance of the lifts to the slopes. House was perfect for our group of 6, beds and furnishings comfortably and we had plenty of space. The room in the roof is for the agile only! Celine the concierge provided detail information, helpful tips and was easy to deal with. Not a massive issue but recommend moving or having the a TV in the lounge area not the kitchen. Overall very good stay.

Precioso chalet, vistas maravillosas

El chalet es muy bonito, con unos ventanales espectaculares, muy bien acondicionado con todo lo necesario tanto en mobiliario como en utensilios de cocina. Lo único negativo es la distancia cuesta arriba hasta los remontes y al supermercado o panadería. Muy agradecidos por el detalle del dueño de reservar un locker en la góndola. Así no había que subir cargados con los skies

Bon séjour mais quelques points négatifs

Points positifs : chalet très confortable et spacieux avec une vue magnifique au calme, plutôt bien placé, casier à ski très pratique en bas du télécabine Points négatifs : pas de produites de base comme sel ou liquide vaisselle Gros points noirs : règlement de ménage très strict (non précisé dans l’annonce) pendant le séjour et surtout pour le départ avec obligation de faire le ménage de la cuisine par exemple alors que frais de nettoyage prévu dans le prix de départ à la hauteur de 130 euros

Sejour sympa - dommage pour le ménage

Chalet très sympa avec une super vue. Bien situé et proche des pistes. Dommage que le séjour ait été gâché par le ménage. Il est compris dans le prix de la réservation, 130 euros or l'hotesse d'accueil nous a clairement dit qu'il fallait faire le ménage avant de partir, serpillière, nettoyage des salles de bains.... Le lendemain de notre arrivée, le propriétaire nous a egalement laissé un message concernant le ménage à faire plus l'hotesse d'accueil qui nous a remis une couche pendant le séjour. Je trouve inadmissible de payer 130 balles de menage et d'être obligé de le faire sachant que s'il n'est pas fait le proprietaire nous a menacé d'engendrer des frais supplémentaires. Soit on fait le menage mais on ne paie pas 130 balles soit on paie mais on ne le fait pas !!! De plus il y avait des tâches de chocolat sur le parquet des chambres en arrivant ce qui veut dire que les 130 euros ne doivent certainement pas servir au menage mais doivent aller dans les poches du proprio. Ca fait 8 ans que je vais dans les alpes et c'est bien la 1ère fois que je paie pour le ménage et que je dois le faire...

Un chalet spacieux, très bien aménagé et riche en équipements. Très bonne situation, au calme et à proximité de toutes les commodités. Fijn verblijf, perfecte uitvalsbasis voor het fietsen van de marmotte

Een heel fijn verblijf, met een prachtig uitzicht. We zaten er om de marmotte te fietsen, en daarvoor was het een perfect huisje. De fietsen konden veilig in de garage staan, en vanuit het huisje konden we mooi fietsen. Ook is de locatie mooi, met vrij uitzicht, maar ook met loopafstand tot het dorp. Ook het contact met Celine was erg prettig.

Great chalet

I loved the stay at this Chalet. Myself and 3 others occupied the 2 double rooms, the single room and the sofa bed. The single room, by the way, is a lot bigger than the picture suggests. The only fault would be access to the slopes. Although the gondolas are only a few minutes walk away. The walk is not flat at all, it’s very steep and sometimes icy so would not recommend to people with mobility problems. However, our group embraced the exercise and apart from that the chalet itself is lovely, clean and comfortable. As the listing says. The twin attic room at the top of the building is very small, I would’nt bring any suitcases up there and a very low ceiling so no standing for adults. We didn’t actually use the room at all but it would be fine for sleeping if you needed the space. Ski room is lovely and very useful, even had a few bonus sledges in there. Living room, kitchen, balconies are lovely, kitchen is equipped with absolutely anything you could need. Warmth throughout the building is on point. Utility room is great too and super useful with washer, dryer and extra fridge/freezer. There was even washing liquid provided. There are plenty of cleaning products around the house, the only thing we had to buy was toilet paper and black bin bags. Bathrooms are fab, spacious and warm. Downstairs bathroom requires the window to be open when showering as there’s no extraction fan but it doesn’t get cold even with it open. We thought that it would be possible to use both showers at the same time but unfortunately as with most households the hot water can only be used from one at a time. This wasn’t a huge issue though. Céline (the property host) was BRILLIANT! Super helpful. Always available on WhatsApp and very attentive to our needs. A lovely person to meet as well 😊 Enjoy your stay!

Zeer volledig uitgerust chalet, netjes en schoon

Wij verbleven hier tijdens Alpe d'HuZes met onze 2 kinderen (2 en 5). Heel fijn appartement, goed uitgerust (oven, magnetron, dubbele badkamer, kinderstoel, wasmachine en droger). Prachtig uitzicht en met +/- 20 min lopen stonden we boven bij Palais du Sport.
