Located in a gated bay-side community, it is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation in a tropical island paradise. You’ll enjoy the view of the lush tropical landscaping and pools from most everywhere in the town home, water view from master bedroom and patio. Natural tropical beauty, breathtaking sunsets and the bay view can be enjoyed from the second level terrace. The patio terrace faces directly to pool and tropical garden. The spacious clubhouse includes saunas and kitchen and free WIFI connectivity. Resort feel surroundings however quaint and charming, you’ll fall in love with this tropical paradise, your memories will always bring you back.

You'll have the convenience of reserved parking directly in front of the town home. Wireless secure WI-FI is available at no additional cost so bring your devices. A second home...

We have stayed @ Moon Bay before but this was our favorite condo hands down! Beautifully furnished, comfortable and convenient. The owners were super responsive and we appreciated their attention to detail! We will definitely be back! Thank you so very much!

Poolside Beach-Like Townhome

Just steps to the pool and short walk to the docks. Key Largo has everything...shops, restaurants, water sports, fishing off the dock. This townhouse had everything you could possibly need including a well stocked kitchen. Sunsets were awesome including visits from the resident egret and occasional visit from a manatee. We plan on visiting Moon Bay again next year.

Perfect Family Vacation

We had an amazing vacation in Key Largo. This condo was perfect for our family of 5. The property was clean and well equipped. The owners were so very helpful and quick to respond. Great location and there was so much to do on the property. My boys LOVED fishing- saw lots of sharks, barracudas, tarpon, and a few manatee as well! So much fun!!

Great place great stay

The place was great. Great location. Plenty of room for 5 females. The owners were great to work with. I requested to book their lovely unit and was responded to immediately. All the check-in info was mailed and we had no problems. But isn't that just the way a vacation should be. If you are familiar with key largo you know you'll need a car, however we walked to the the crib club, Jimmy johnsons, sundowners and the wonderful Mexican restaurant. Sunset from the pier are great. And to the owners THANK YOU!!!!

Moonbay townhouse--July 2018

The townhouse is well kept and the community setting is great. We loved the pool and enjoyed sitting at the dock. The condo was very clean and well supplied kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location. Internet was a slow in the condo-- but used the Moonbay guest internet by the pool and that was better for work things I needed to do. Not a big deal as had the other option. Carl and Miriam were great.

Regarding the internet, although you are most gracious about the comment (since I know how annoying it can be when the network is weak) the condo association is in the process of upgrading to fiber to able to upgrade the cable service and internet. Once that is done the condos will enjoy fast and reliable internet and cable TV service. Thank you so much for staying in our townhouse and if you are in Key Largo again I hope to stay with us.

Fantastic

This lovely home is exactly as shown in photos. The location is ideal since it's a ground floor townhome right next to the swimming pool. We would spend most of our time on the screened porch playing games or swimming at the pool. This is not a stuffy, pretentious condominium but we found it to be very friendly and neighborly since most of the other guests are long term tenants or owners themselves. The furniture was all very comfortable and everything we needed was included. There are so many excellent restaurants, shops and excursions that we never ran out of things to do. Even though there is evidence of the recent hurricane, this did not affect our vacation at all since it is apparent the locals are working very hard to restore their beautiful home to it's original paradise. We enjoyed our stay so much we immediately booked it again for another vacation.

Splendid!

Our family had an amazing week at Moon Bay. This was our second visit to the complex, but first time in this townhome, and our return did not disappoint. The unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Outdoors we enjoyed the pool, tennis courts, basketball hoop, clubhouse, beach, charcoal grills, Moon Bay Toss, outdoor fireplace and awesome dock, along with all the beautiful vegetation, entertaining iguanas and marine life we were able to see right off the dock! The manatee that visited was delightful!! Renting a boat and a slip we were able to see and experience so much more! The location is great for venturing out to explore or for eating out. One of our favorites being Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Cafe. We’ve found Moon Bay to have a hospitable small community feel, which is perfect for our Midwest family. Carl and Miriam are lovely folks. They were very responsive, helpful and welcoming, and are also highly regarded by the Moon Bay community. Thank you both for sharing your home away from home with us! We would love to return!

Wonderful Two Weeks

My husband and I could not have asked for a more perfect springtime vacation than we experienced at Moon Bay in this townhouse. This gated, clean, safe, family friendly complex made it easy to relax. The townhouse itself is accurately described in the VRBO listing, A few of the things we especially liked was having two recliners in the living room, an extremely comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom, a well stocked kitchen (with lots of spices in the cabinet) to use, our designated parking space and having the beautiful pool so close (literally 8 steps from the back screened in porch). Attention to detail was evident - like having a motion light near the entrance door so one could see the key pad to enter the code, hooks near the washer and dryer to hang beach towels, and plastic containers to put leftovers in the refrigerator. The TV cable system had lots of special features and the WIFI worked well. Any questions that we had were quickly answered by the owners. From this location we were able to explore all over the keys. Our time flew by - we will be sharing travel memories for many years to come.

PERFECT HOME FOR OUR KEYS VACATION!!!

MY HUSBAND AND I, AND TWO OF OUR FRIENDS RENTED THIS TOWN HOME IN SEPTEMBER 2013. THIS HOME WAS TRUELY PERFECT FOR OUR KEYS VACATION. IT IS TUCKED AWAY IN A GATED COMMUNITY AND IT WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION! WE ARE ALL SCUBA DIVERS AND IT WAS WITHIN ONE MILE OF THE DIVE SHOP. THE TOWN HOUSE WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND HAD ALL THE AMENITIES WE NEEDED. ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS SHOW UP AND BEGIN OUR FUN! THE HOME WAS VERY NEAT, CLEAN AND NICELY DECORATED. IT WAS LOVELY TO GET UP EVERY MORNING, WALK DOWN TO THE PIER AND HAVE OUR MORNING COFFEE WHILE WATCHING FOR MANATEES (UNFORTUNATELY THEY NEVER CAME TO SE US). THE POOL AREA IS LITERALLY JUST STEPS FROM THE SCREENED IN DECK WHICH WAS ALSO VERY NICE. WE ENJOYED MANY ACTIVITIES ON OUR VACATION INCLUDING DIVING AND KAYAKING. WE ALSO LOVED JUST DRIVING AROUND AND FINDING NEW PLACES TO EAT OR VISIT. WE ALL MADE MANY MEMORIES ON OUR VACATION! HOPEFULLY WE WILL GET BACK TO THE FLORIDA KEYS SOON...AND IF WE DO, I DEFINITELY WOULD LOVE TO STAY IN THIS BEAUTIFUL MOON BAY TOWN HOME AGAIN !!!

Beautiful condo in a great location

Miriam and Carl have a beautiful condo located on a lovely property. I do a lot of cooking and found the kitchen very well-equipped; great knives; lots of spices. We loved the screened porch and balcony, as well as sunsets on the dock. We have stayed in many VRBO condos in a variety of locations over the past ten years and this was my favorite.

I have stayed at a lot of places over the years…this one was one of the best ever!

Very comfortable, well appointed! The kitchen was by far the best setup I have ever used. So many good quality pots and pans, backwater, sharp knifes, lots of glassware and plates. They even had 3 crockpots and tones of spices. The beds and pillows were Uber comfortable! Decent amount of towels. The complex was just the right size and had lots to offer guests. The only thing that could Abe been better…longer stay!

Very pleased with the place.

This is not the place if you're looking for a beachfront. The beach is pretty small. But it was a great location for our family get-together. We occupied two units just steps away from each other, enjoyed playing on the well-maintained tennis court, and spent a lot of time at the spacious pool. The owners could not have been more responsive to our needs and made checking in an easy process. The location was near some enjoyable attractions. Overall, we give it a very good rating.

Moon Bay townhouse

We have vacationed at Moon Bay for many years, but have never stated in one of the townhouses. This property was just what we needed. We had other family in a nearby townhouse as well. Proximity to the pool was great for the children. We loved having two full bathrooms plus a half bath. This property is well cared for and as advertised. The owners are great to work with. We hope to stay again in the future. The Moon Bay property has many nice upgrades and is beautiful as always. We had a wonderful vacation!

Awesome from start to finish ❤️

Finding this gem on VRBO was one of the best things that happened in 2020. Booking was simple, instructions from check-in to check-out were simple, homeowners were prompt and super friendly. We arrived later in the evening and got in through the gate quickly. The code to the front door was easy to use and upon walking in, everything was tidy and just right. Love the nice at home feel. A great night's sleep in comfy beds with a lot of pillows, just like I prefer. Bathrooms were pristine and the water hot with great water pressure. Everything you need for an amazing stay is right there at your fingertips(towels, laundry detergent, pots and pans, crock pot, you name it!). We ate on the screened in porch at least once a day. The location of the townhouse at Moon Bay was perfect. Wonderful pool area, great views from the dock, LOVED the swings and hammocks where we spent some of our quiet times. We saw manatees, plenty of fish and star fish right there at Moon Bay. I can't forget to mention the old black Moon Bay cat that came every night when it got dark waiting for his food and a good pet(my son liked to swim at night, so we saw him every time the sun went down). So many amazing things to say about this place that I could ramble on for days. All I know is that you won't be disappointed. It was myself and two grown kids and there was plenty of room for us. I'd say it would definitely sleep six comfortably.

Wonderful Tropical Getaway!

This was our first visit to the Florida Keys and we could not have picked a better place to stay. It is more like a cozy resort! The townhome was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated and spacious. The location was perfect. The pool was right outside the door and fishing from the dock was great, very relaxing. The staff keeps the grounds immaculate. Loved watching the sunsets from the pier. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal if you wish. It was nice to have morning coffee out on the balcony overlooking the pool and palm trees, made it difficult to leave and venture out. The clubhouse and amenities are wonderful and we met very nice people from all over the world. Great restaurants close by as well as grocery stores. Just a 45 minute drive to Sombrero Beach, a nice clean beach with grills and bath houses. There are water activities at Pennekamp state park, and many other nearby places. Key West is a 2 hour drive and the Old Town Trolley tour of the city is highly recommended. We definitely would like to return in the future and thank the owners for sharing their piece of paradise!

Well equipped townhouse next to pool

Everything you need to relax and live comfortably. Great internet reception even poolside. Lots of fishermen around to keep you company if that is your pleasure. Generally quiet, with friendly people in the complex. The house was sparkling clean, and the beds comfy. Handy to two supermarkets. Weather was great for the entire month...our hosts arranged that specially for us! A day in Key West was interesting, 2 hour drive away. We did a great boat tour of the area, hiked in the Dagney Johnson State Park, and enjoyed the botanical gardens at the Kono Kai Resort. Another fun outing was the Everglades Alligator Farm, where we got drenched in an airboat ride. The wild bird sanctuary was really interesting too. The complex is extremely well cared for and very nicely landscaped.

It's a great option for four people -ONLY

The accommodations were very clean, the (2) beds in the (2)bedrooms very comfortable. That said, the pull out sofa in the living room is unsuitable for sleeping. Had the description been "sleeps 4" I never would have booked the unit. My son was unable to sleep on the 2-inch mattress with the bar across the the middle of the pull out and had to get a hotel room up the street after the first night. There is also not comfortable seating for more than four in the living room. The unit is quite nice for four people, the kitchen very nice as well. The overall accommodations pool, clubhouse, dock also very nice. There is no "beach", but it is on the bay side and the sunset views awesome. If there were only four of us I would have given it a four star.

Valerie, thank you for your feedback and will be taking some measures from it, sofa bed and other tips you pointed out. Although sofa beds are never comfortable as a bed as you pointed our beds are top of the line mattresses and a sofa would never be comparable to them. I will make changes to our website addressing this matter. We take pride in maintaining our condo up dated want our guests to feel welcomed and as if they are at home away from home We can discuss further. Thank you

Beautiful townhome and great location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moonbay. The townhome was beautiful, clean, and very well equipped. The heated outdoor pool was so nice -we swam in the evenings and had the whole pool to ourselves. We loved the marina area for coffee in the morning and cocktails before dinner - also was treated to a manatee sighting. Another plus was being able to walk to restaurants for dinner. Highly recommend this rental.

Godt indrettet bolig og dejlige rum med god plads. Fuldt udstyret køkken og fine badeværelser.

Selve området var smukt og behageligt at være på med skøn udsigt over vandet og dejlige fællesområder . Wifi forbindelse var dog ret ringe.

We translated this review, Well decorated accommodation and lovely room with good space. Fully equipped kitchen and nice bathrooms. The area itself was beautiful and comfortable to be on with beautiful views of the water and lovely common areas. However, the wifi connection was pretty poor. We are sorry to say that were not aware the WI-FI was so poor, I know the Internet providers in the area are working triple time due to the horrible hurricane we just had. perhaps if we would have known we could have escalated the trouble.

You've come to the right place if comfort and privacy is important to you. Tastefully updated with marble and granite and many upgrades.
