A Victorian era family home located in a multicultural part of West London. The house is comfortably furnished and decorated in a colourful, eclectic style featuring memorabilia and original artworks.
Our house isn’t luxurious, but like many well loved older style family homes in the UK, it is homely and has plenty of character. It has a small back garden, large well equipped kitchen diner and two sitting rooms. The house is well served for public transport into the city centre. Notting Hill and the River Thames at Hammersmith Mall are both nearby.
The street is quiet, despite the urban location and there are plenty of local retail amenities and public transport. The vast Westfield Shopping Mall, restaurant and entertainment hub is just moments away.
There is paid street parking but please note the parking charges are payable 7 days a week 9am - 9pm.

We permanently keep the lights on under the kitchen counter tops.
A light in the upstairs hallway and a table light on in the rear sitting room
Put all keys in the jam jar on the table .
Double lock the front door and always leave the access key in the key safe outside
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Dominic and I are both Londoners, we have been hosting in our home since 2010 via various home rental platforms. We enjoy the flexibility of being able to rent our home short term when we plan to be away and the added income it provides. Currently we are enjoying doing more travel in retirement and it is nice to know that someone is living in and taking care of our home when we are away,

What makes this property unique
Our ‘low tech’ modest family home provides guests with a colourful homely place to live. Guests have use of four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large double lounge for relaxing and watching TV. The kitchen/diner is open plan, with a large range. It has plenty of light and patio doors open on to a small a private back garden with outdoor dining and seating areas.
