Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Dirty condo

The condo is on the beach and there is a huge patio overlooking the beach and ocean. Two large sliding doors lead to the patio and when opened, the breeze, the view and the sound of the ocean are amazing. However, the condo was less than clean and quite frankly the cleaning people should be replaced. There was debris/food crumbs in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. We had to unload the dishwasher upon arrival and then re-wash several dishes by hand. Several we pulled out of the cupboards had to be washed before used, too. The mattress in the master bedroom is AWFUL - huge sink hole in the middle. And the shower curtain liner ($5 at Target to re-place) was covered in mold. The patio furniture and patio were covered in bird droppings and the place smelled pretty musty = which was why we often had the doors open. The placemats on the kitchen table have clearly not been wiped off in quite some time as they were sticky and dirty. The location was great - away from the business of PCB but close enough to take advantage of those amenities. And the proximity of the beach was perfect. Really - just clean the place!

Wonderful vacation condo!!

We arrived on the Monday before memorial day weekend and it was really quiet and calm on our side of the beach. Closer to Pier Park there was a lot of traffic and a lot of people. Seemed to be lots of kids or teens on scooters. From this condo you have to drive everywhere to eat or shop but the calm beach and property is worth it!! There is a place across the street MIKES and another a little ways down COCONUTS to eat if you want to walk. They are good. The property condominium was wonderful, clean and beautiful. I liked how I saw Security on the property. I felt better about my girl teens walking around without me. Our condo 1503 did not have a free beach chair though. That was a downside. We had to pay $20 a day but they discounted for more days. Some properties do have a free beach chair. Loved how the owners had smaller beach chairs and an umbrella and floats in their little closet though that we could use for free. The master bed was sooo comfy. We are going to look into buying that mattress!! Id definitely go back!!
