INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

This property was perfect for our family vacation to Destin. The space had a great view of the beach. Easy to walk down to the water, great size pool. Absolutely everything we needed for our family of 5. I would 100% stay here again.

Great location and view/several electrical outlets did not work, dirty towels in room/ broken chair on arrival (reported to management) and shower curtain in master bathroom kept falling. Overall great place, but numerous repairs needed.

My stay through Panhandle Getaways has been the worst I have ever experienced! From the time I checked in until the time I checked out it was a nightmare!

This rental was perfect for our family. The things we loved were: the location, the beach access, the super friendly staff at the front desk, the size of the entire set of condos, and how the unit has everything. Our ONLY complaint is that several outlets didn’t work or they had light switches that had to be flipped on in order for them to work. This is not a deal breaker but should be fixed, especially to add signs that switches need to be on. We will definitely be back!

Great experience for these first-time Snow Birds!

Stayed in this condo Jan-Feb 2020. Had all of the conveniences of home. Lots of room and the views of the Gulf were fantastic! Spent hours sitting in the balcony absorbing the beauty. Building management personnel were great. Lost WiFi after a big storm, maintenance was up to the condo immediately to correct the issue. The only minor complains with the condo was that some of the electrical outlet covers were broken and the coffee maker could be updated. Wanted to return next year, but the condo was already booked for February 2021.

Location is great/ condo needs updating

When we got there we had to clean the toilet- it had urine on it. Dishes needed to be washed before we used them. Bed seemed clean. Everything is just old tracks for closets are rusted. Mirrors are scratched. It’s a great location, but it’s just old, so price should reflect what you are getting.

Wonderful location! Needs a little TLC.

This was a great property/location for our family getaway to Destin this summer! Overall, the condo was wonderful. The space was ample for the four of us (2 Adults and 2 Children (ages 17 &10), with view of the ocean, direct access to the beach and much more! This particular home could use a little TLC, nothing that should deter someone from renting however, just a heads up on some items; the kitchen faucet leaks whenever used, the stove takes longer than normal for burners to warm and for the oven to cook, window in the guest bedroom could really use drapes as it faces the elevator the 4th floor with a flourescent light that shines in overnight (we put a sheet up to minimize as much as possible), not all of the dishes were clean when we arrived, the toaster didn't work, the tops of two dining chairs came off when moving them out to sitdown, and some other minor things. Again, overall, the unit was good but, needs some love and attention.

Great place to stay! Very convenient for restaurants! Right on the beach! Just eat in your kitchen and head for the sand! Didn’t use the pool but appeared well kept and clean! Really happy with the security. Felt very safe!

Family vacation

Room needs some TLC when it comes to housecleaning. There was literally a pile of sand in the master bedroom when we arrived and sand on most all of the floors. Beds and couch were very comfortable. Refrigerator light did not work. Mainly condo just needs some updating and care. We absolutely loved the pool area and kids loved being able to get free movies every night. Overall our vacation was wonderful!
