About this property

"Along the water" B&B Ardennes Belges + equestrian welcome

It is in our old farm that we welcome you,
This pretty room for 2 people on the mezzanine with its cocoon TV lounge, wifi, fridge, coffee duo, kettle, tea ..
Shower room, wc, sink, (bath sheets, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer ..).
The adjoining bedroom has a large covered terrace overlooking the garden,
With its private entrance and its exterior lighting will allow you to enter when you want
A large garden that will bring you peace and relaxation, its small stream, its cozy and flowery corners, the animals of the house, dogs, cats and horses
In summer you will enjoy the deckchairs of the SMALL outdoor swimming pool (not heated) and the barbecue (on request).
The covered terrace upstairs is very pleasant for summer evenings
We leave you for your stay 2 mountain bikes for free
Darts, pétanque, board games
Large private parking, closed garage for bikes and motorcycles
We are close to Bastogne and Houffalize (15min by car) where you will find many shops, museums, sports activities., Cafes, restaurants.

"B&B" rental for 2 people with breakfast 85 eur per night

Charming getaway in an area rich with history

The hosts were very quick to respond to my questions and were even there flagging us down on the street to help us find it! They even helped us by bringing our dinner cash to the restaurant down the street since the restaurant didn’t take cards. The stay was so peaceful and after visiting Bostogne (about a 10 minute drive away) we were so thankful we stayed here where it was quiet. They had an amazing veranda which would have been so great to enjoy our breakfast on (but was a bit cold in the winter). Note that there are stairs so ensure if you book you can walk up stairs. Breakfast was a great spread of charcuterie and jams and even our favorite whipped honey which we enjoyed on toast. We would absolutely stay there again and especially in the summer when we could enjoy sitting outside enjoying a peaceful breakfast on the veranda.

Eine herzliche und familiäre Aufnahme

in schöner Ferienwohnung mit Terrasse und liebevoll bereitetem Frühstück haben wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants in unterschiedlichen Preisklassen. Wanderungen und Radtouren sind von dort aus sehr gut zu starten.

Un bon week-end

Nous n’avions réservé cette chambre d’hôte que pour y dormir… Elle est fonctionnelle et bien décorée !!! Il fait chaud dans la chambre en mezzanine, il ne faut pas hésiter à ouvrir la fenêtre et une lampe d’éclairage d’appoint sous l’escalier serait sympa pour ne pas avoir à allumer la grande lampe du plafond. Quelques serviettes en papier auraient également pu être utiles et c’est dommage que le petit-déjeuner bien que copieux ne soit pas d’une plus grande qualité vu le prix du week-end… (produits locaux, jus frais, confitures maison, pain artisanal…)

GREAT ‘LIL GITE!!

Wonderful Gite, nicely appointed and comfortable, perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Centrally located to various POIs, WWII Bastogne, Arlon, Bouillon, Liege ...etc. A lot of bike route options for bicycle enthusiasts. There’s a great ‘lil local restaurant (le 326, say “hello” to Phil) within an easy 3-4 minute walk from the Gite with considerable more dining, cafe options in the village of Houffalize, about 10 minutes by car. Michel and Isabelle are very kind, attentive and generous hosts. The morning breakfast offers a great variety of delicious breakfast items in a cozy breakfast room w/option for outdoor alfresco eating, if preferred. The upstairs terrace is particularly nice for taking a relaxing, evening drink while looking out onto the lovely garden. Timely online communication w/hosts prior to our arrival, this wonderful gite offers off street parking and the absolutely sweetest dogs & precious cat. We very much enjoyed our 4-night stay and look forward to our return.

Such a wonderful intimate escape!

We’ve used VRBO many times, but this has to be among our favourites places. Isabelle and Michele are so welcoming and friendly. They have a century home on a gorgeous piece of property. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a beautiful patio to look over the gardens. Breakfasts were amazing!!! The location is perfect for exploring the Bastonge area, which is about 15 minutes away, or a beautiful drive to Luxembuorg or Brussels. Thank you so much Isabelle and Michele for a wonderful stay!
