About this property

Beautiful, spacious two bedroom apartment with lovely gardens and awesome views.

We are a farmhouse overlooking a cliff on the eastern coast of Barbados. We are nestled in a rustic fishing village with very friendly residents. This is a hiking district so there are plenty hiking trails and walks to explore. At every corner is another breathtaking view for your enjoyment. There is a restaurant in our village and three Rum shops where you will always find conversation if you want it! The fishermen bring in their hauls on the beach regularly and there is plenty fresh fish to buy.
The property is "off the beaten track", secluded and private. There are two ground floor separate apartments with patios that lead out to a beautiful garden and cliff view.
We have a farm with sheep, goats, ducks,chickens and turkeys.
Ocean Echoes Stables are 600' away. We also have a yoga space at the bottom of the garden which is great for yoga and quiet meditation. It is a very inspiring environment.
My son and I live upstairs and I am never too far if you have any queries.

Quiet peaceful getaway from the everyday hustle- a perfect place to reset

We got in very late due to our flight being delayed. Delia was very communicative throughout the booking process and gave us the name of the taxi driver she uses. Shawn (the driver) was excellent and I appreciate the recommendation from Delia. The property is a perfect place to reset- your background is the ocean and the views can’t be beat. I definitely was able to recharge and get some much needed rest. Delia was very accessible and addressed all of our needs and questions in a timely fashion and even took us to a local farmers market, a locally owned establishment for a lunch and to an excellent vantage at St John’s Parish Church to view the parish. That view was amazing. Other notes- internet and phone service (I have a US carrier) worked well as did all of the appliances in the apartment. Also the farm is an extra bonus- we got to walk the land and see the animals. Overall, a restorative and restful place to reflect and rest- I recommend it highly.

I've stayed at Ocean View before and it never fails to bring me peace and joy. Having breakfast on the patio watching the sun rise over the ocean - priceless. Thank you Delia for letting me and others share your paradise.

If your looking for quiet time and some relaxation in between your sightseeing excursions on the island of Barbados, this is the place. Awesome views, hiking trails along the coast in between Martin's Bay and Bath Beach were easy to find! Our 2 week stay flew by!

This place is magical! It is beautiful, tranquil and inspiring. If you need to get away from your daily hustle and find a space to reconnect with yourself - this is definitely it!
There is a constant sea breeze, the sound of the waves and awesome views of the ocean and the hillsides. My farm animals are friendly and curious and fun to be around.

What makes this property unique

Ocean View Retreat has to be seen! It is an awesome corner of the island - private and secluded! You will be able reconnect with your inner self. We have beautiful gardens with lounge chairs and hammocks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The nights are starry and the days are tranquil. The village is a friendly neighborhood and we are nestled between Bath Beach and Martins Bay- both popular beaches.
