Caretta Villa focuses on great attention to detail; the villa has three bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, two of which have round double beds and one with twin beds. All the rooms blend harmoniously with their environment, with natural color schemes giving them a mellow, rustic feel. The glass-ceilinged upstairs bathroom gives a unique view of the 4th century BC tombs, towering over the town.
The building itself is semi-circular and has a whimsical circular cushioned lounge area arranged around a fireplace, dining area with handcrafted dining table and chairs, and a kitchen area accessed through two archways. From the kitchen, large glass-panelled doors lead out onto a terrace and pretty gardens surrounded by semi-circular, vented stone walls which allow a breeze to play along the patio whilst offering cooling shade. The twin-bedded guesthouse, with simple kitchen and shower room, is detached from the main villa and set in the garden. It will only be opened when there is a party greater than six.
The large circular pool is just a few meters away from the guesthouse, and the tiled pathway that leads from the main house slowly slopes down, leading directly into main depth of the pool. The pretty gardens have a high wall surrounding them offering the villa maximum privacy.
The centre of Dalyan with its numerous shops and restaurantsis just five minute walk away, making it hard to believe that such a tranquil green oasis can exist in such close proximity to this lively riverside town.
