The apartment is located in a farmhouse complex in 12 hectares of land, in Vomune of Cagli, a few km from Urbino, Gubbio, and the Adriatic CSTA with the beautiful beaches of Fano, Pesaro, Senigallia and Monte Conero. Nearby there are two beautiful unspoilt rivers (the Bosso and Burano), where you can spend days of meravisgliose cool. In the property you can make beautiful walks and inside there are some private Truffle Reserves where you can organize walks for the collection of truffles. Cooking classes are organized on request. It is situated 2 km from the capital Acqualagna faosa the prized white truffle and black.

Bijzonder mooie rustige locatie, huisje wat ouder maar heel net. Heel ongedwongen sfeer en bijzonder mooie uitzichten aan zwembad. Afgelegen en toch op 30 'min aan zee. Onze twee dochters van 6 en 9 hebben de tijd van hun levengehad. Spelen en ravotten naar hartelust zonder zorgen voor de ouders. Simonetta is een heel aangename gastvrouw. Een aanrader dus.

perfect holiday

We had such a wonderful holiday at Ca Battista! We stayed at Tramonto, such a lovely house. Lots of space inside, lovely decorated bedrooms with good bathrooms (better than on the pictures). And a well equiped kitchen. Simonetta made us feel more than welcome, with great pizza and vegetables and wine at our arrival. And during our stay she helped us out on all our needs. Our children became very fond of her, we too. She gave great cooking class on fresh pasta and pizza for our daughters. And excellent tips on restaurants. The views from the house are so beautiful and restgiving. So we had a really nice holiday, perfect in any sense. Hope to come back!

Urlaub abseits des Massentourismus

Die Region „Marken“ ist nach wie vor ein Geheimtipp. In diesem landschaftlich abwechslungsreichen und kunsthistorisch interessanten Landstrich gibt es viel zu Entdecken und zu Erleben abseits vom Massentourismus. Wir waren heuer im Sunset untergebracht, einem stil- und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Appartement. Die Wohnung ist Teil des historischen Landhauses „ Ca battista“, bietet viel Platz im Inneren aber auch auf der möblierten Terrasse im Freien. Man hat einen atemberaubenden Ausblick ins Tal. Die Farben der Landschaft wechseln je nach Tageszeit. Abends betrachteten und fotografierten wir eindrucksvolle Sonnenuntergänge. Am Tag unserer Ankunft hat uns die charmante Gastgeberin Simonetta in englischer Sprache herzlich empfangen und gefragt, ob wir denn schon zu Abend gegessen hätten, sie würde auch eine Kleinigkeit für uns zubereiten. Wir nahmen das Angebot gerne an, gingen noch an den Pool zum Schwimmen und genossen anschließend die von Simonetta köstlich zubreitete „Kleinigkeit“ in fünf Gängen aus Pasta und Pizza, verfeinert mit reichlich frischem Trüffel. Nach dem Essen suchten wir uns eine der zahlreichen Hängematten im weitläufigen Obstgarten und lauschten bei einem Gläschen Wein in absoluter Stille den Geräuschen des Waldes und der Wiese. Am Himmel funkelten die Sterne und um uns herum gaukelten hunderte von Glühwürmchen. Wir fanden hier einen Ort zum absoluten Entspannen und „Seele baumeln lassen“. Am Tag unternahmen wir Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir holten uns immer Tipps und Ratschläge von Simonetta. Wir besuchten den Markt in Cagli, nahmen aber nicht die Hauptstraße sondern folgten einem Hinweis unserer Gastgeberin. So erlebten wir eine Reise auf wenig befahrenen Pfaden vorbei an Ginsterhainen und Weinbergen sowie atemberaubenden Ausblicken auf Berg und Tal. Wir fanden einen reißenden Gebirgsbach, der sich immer wieder zu kleinen Seen inmitten bizarrer Felslandschaft ausbreitete und so zum Schwimmen einlud. Das Wasser war so klar, dass man bis auf den Grund sehen und Fische beobachten konnte. Entlang des Flusstales gedieh naturnahe Vegetation mit zahlreichen Schmetterlings – und Insektenarten auf tausenden Blüten, einfach Natur pur. Wir besuchten die mittelalterlichen Städte Urbino und Gubbio, durchwanderten die Furlo- Schlucht und starteten auch Ausflüge ans Meer bei Fano (etwa 25 Minuten). Wir werden sicher wieder kommen und unbeschwerten Urlaub genießen. Einfach empfehlenswert.

Second time for us!

Been here for the second time with a friend of mine and our children and once again I managed finally to relax restore and be happy! The boys were free and safe and found a lot things to do and to explore. Simonetta the owner is very kind and she suggested us many new amazing places to visit in the surroundings. But actually I preferred to stay in the swimming pool or just in front of panorama from ca Battista hill. Beautiful time. I warmly suggest this place to families!

Great Home Great Hostess Great Time

This vacation will be one that I will never forget. The location of this house is situated on a beautiful hill with breathtaking views. We stayed in a house called, The Sunset. This house was fully furnished, had a fully equipped kitchen, had a BBQ outside as well as an outdoor sitting area in case we wanted to use it. Also, the house was very clean and by American standards, it was impressively spacious. There was tons of space for us to put our many things. This house is steps away from the pool in which provides a view you have never seen before. It was a gorgeous view, also it is a must to go to the pool during sunset to see the beautiful pink sky and the hills, it is simply magical.At night, this house is simply so special, looking at all of the stars at night was so peaceful and so relaxing. The property is and always was clean and safe for all that were staying here. Simonetta, the hostess was so kind and generous to us while we stayed here. We didnt know much about where we were but that didn't matter. Simonetta, gave us information about the town as well as advice on where to go to eat, to sight-see, and on how to get the beach, (which is only 20 minutes away). She was such a great hostess, she made sure that we were comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend this place to individuals of all ages because this house and location serves all! You wont regret it! You will feel like you're family when you stay here!

peaceful, fun getaway for college students

This is an ideal getaway for college students who want to escape stressful and fast-paced cities.The house is nestled in the beautiful countryside, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills. The house was very clean, with comfortable beds. The pool, sitting atop the hill has the best view around, especially at sunset! Simonetta was the perfect hostess, attentative, cheerful, receptive, and helped us with our every need, even with our request to learn to make pizza. She gave us all the best tips from a local's point of view and where to go and how to get there; between sightseeing, historical attractions, local swimming spots in the river, shopping, and where to eat a great meal as well as where to drink a few beers at night. The house is located near all the attractions as well as the sea. We overall had such a great experience being here and with the hospitality of Simonetta. We wish we didn't have to leave and we cant wait to come back!

Italien von seiner schönsten Seite!!

Erst waren wir etwas verwirrt, als der letzte Weg zum Agriturissmo immer holpriger wurde. Dafür wurden wir gleich darauf mit einem Ausblick belohnt, den ich nie vergessen werde. Simonetta, die Eigentürmerin, begrüßte uns mit "welcome to Afrika". Wir waren in diesem Jahr Ende Juli/ Anfang August in Ca Battista. Teilweise waren es über vierzig Grad, aber selbst die waren in der wunderschönen Anlage im Schatten gut auszuhalten. Sunset ist ein wundervolles Appartement mit italienischem Charme. Liebevoll künstlerisch eingerichtet in italienischem Landhausstil und sehr großzügig geschnitten. Der Blick von der Terasse ist einmalig. Die Fotos im Internet sind absolut realistisch, es ist "in echt" sogar noch schöner. Wir haben die Abende "sotto le stelle" genossen. Simonetta als Vermieterin ist unschlagbar. Unvergesslich das Pizzabacken und der wundervolle letzte Abend auf ihrer Terrasse. Überhaupt ist Marche (Marken) so vielfältig und einfach bezaubernd. Urbino .. die Adriaküste .. die Berge - alles ist gut zu erreichen. Wer Italien sucht, der ist hier richtig. Ciao, bis zum nächsten Jahr.

Real Paradise!

I've been with my husband for 1 week and we could not go away from there. We arrived at the sunset and it was a big surprise when on the road we saw the house. Is located in a big property and all around only fields, mountains, hills, the perfetc place we were looking for. We felt very lucky! From the swimmingpool you can admire wonderful panorama, 1 of the best I evere seen.The apartment is very well equipped and the owner of the house gave us all the informations regarding tour, restaurants, shopping and for this reason our stay was more easy. I also want to thank s Simonetta for let us shown how to cook pizza and gnocchi. It was fantastic!!! We have been in Urbino, Gubbio, and all the historical little village around are town to be seen. We loved also a place to the river where Simonetta took us. We surely come back and reccomend this place to everebody.

Very Nice place to stay for a holiday

We spend 2 weeks in a apartment of ca battista. It was a very nice property to stay. A loveley swimmingpool a fine yard to play on and last but not least the fresh vegetables from the greengarden. The weather is perfect. The owner of the property is very friendly and helps you were ever she can. The vieuw from the pool into the hills is really magnificant. In the direct neighberhood you have some nice places and small townes to visit. We enjoyed our holiday very much!! Fam Rütten From The Nehterlands

GREAT PLACE! Breathtaking view on the hills!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ca' Battista. Simonetta, the owner, is a very warm person and makes you feel at home immediately. Our appt (Tramonte) was fully equipped and in good condition. From our terras we had stunning paranomic view on the Marchese Hills - particularly in the afternoon/evening. BBQ and comfortable deckchairs! The swimming pool was excellent with comfortable chairs, sofa's and stunning panoramic view as well. The area is truly beautiful. Simonetta showed us two places where we could swim in the river and dive/jump from rocks into the mountain (i.e. cold) water. Big fun, for us and our kids (9, 7 and 5 years old). The beach is only a 40 min drive and excellent for kids to play. We look back on a great vacation and we'll definitiely come back!

Fantastisch!

Das Anwesen und das Apartment sind fantastisch! Zunaechst hat man von ueberall eine herrliche Aussicht auf eine Landschaft von Huegeln und Feldern, die durch ihre wunderbaren sanften Farben wie ein Gemaelde aussieht. Der Swimming Pool ist schoen gross und liegt malerisch oberhalb eines Hangs mit einem tollen Panoramablick, man schaut aus dem Wasser in das Tal hinein. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, und auch wenn alle anderen Apartments belegt und somit viele Gaeste auf dem Anwesen sind, ist es insgesamt sehr ruhig und man hat eine kleine Terrasse fuer sich. Simonetta, die Besitzerin, ist wahnsinnig nett, zuvorkommend und gastfreundschaftlich. Sie und ihr "Hausmeister", Paletha, sorgen fuer alles, was man braucht. Und wenn man Glueck hat, macht Simonetta leckere Pizza nach altem Hausrezept mit Zutaten aus eigenem Anbau! Ueberhaupt hat man das Gefuehl, sehr willkommen zu sein - Simonetta gibt Geheimtipps, wo es frische Pasta gibt oder an welchen Orten man am besten im nahe gelegenen Fluss badet. Wer also einen erholsamen Urlaub in entspannter Atmosphaere verleben will, ist hier genau richtig. Ob mit Kindern oder in romantischer Zweisamkeit, dies ist der perfekte Ort dafuer. Die Umgebung ist sehr schoen und laedt zu Ausfluegen ein, wenn man etwas Abwechslung will. Man kann fuer einen Tag nach Fano zum Strand fahren (etwa 45 Minuten) oder in die umliegenden Orte, z.B. nach Cagli, um auf der Piazza einen Espresso zu trinken. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hier Urlaub machen, vielleicht in einer noch groesseren Gruppe - man muss allerdings sehr frueh buchen (etwa ein dreiviertel Jahr im voraus), wenn man gute Optionen haben will. The WOW-experience

Our stay (Dutch family (living in Sweden) with 2 children, 9 and 6 years old) at Simonetta's place was more than we expected. Simonetta was waiting on us to arrive, even with a little cake, which made us feel very welcome. In every respect Simonetta was very helpful and warm as a person and easy to be with, nothing was too much for her and it made it even more familiar to be there as she also had her own friends over and invited some of the guests with similar interests to dine with them as well as if it was one big family. We were also free to invite friends of our own. Our appartment was very simple and cosy (only the bathroom could be a little modernized) and our terrace provided sunny and shady places to sit, but one could also use a larger part of the garden (which was watered daily by her employee) where hammocks were hanging on different places as well, which gave a very homely and relaxing feeling. We could use vegetables from the garden. Two evenings per week one could eat at the opposite agriturismo in typical Italian style, it was really good food and fun to do in that beautiful landscape in a cosy atmosphere. The swimming pool was excellent and had this stunning panoramic view and different kinds of chairs to lie on. The pool was cleaned daily. There were several different appartments on the location and we have been able to see the insides of most of them and I must say all of them looked very good (more modern and better than the one we had, although ours was really fine as well). In one of the modern equipped and colourful and tastfully decorated "newbuildings", one had the panoramic view over the pool from the garden and one of the bedrooms and even a gardenkitchen and fireplace. The distance to the nearest village was only 10 min by car and there you had a nice coffee and ice-cream bar and a supermarket and several restaurants as well. In 20 min. you could reach a river where one could swim as well, in between the mountains. The other people I spoke with staying there, were also very positive about the place. All in all I felt the atmosphere was very welcoming, relaxed, warm, personal, and I found it really hard to leave the place and would have liked to stay at least a week longer and will certainly return to specifically this agriturismo.

I want to live there..

I've been here in June to meet and have some time togheter with some friends coming from london. We had to talk about a project...but at the end we had the first work-holiday i've ever had! The place is simply perfect, with windows openened on the valley, on the property land and outside living places so invitanti!! Simonetta the owner take a good care of all and all the people, and she's beautiful and patient... Cà Battista was invaded by our group.. we were a lot, so we took two apartments nearby- sunset and sunrise - so we were close but in privacy too. In june we found black truffle in Ca' Battista and simonetta prepared for us a dinner that's in our heart..we did project-brainstorming in the swimmingpool...super...never had so much ideas in my life...watching that land from the water. Swimmingpool is in a very attractive position. I'll be back soon, love working in that easy way and would love to live there, I asked for an annual rental and I'm waiting fo a reply..ciaoooo marta

Ca Battista, Sunset: Entspannung im Mai

Es handelt sich um einen ruhig und wunderbar auf einem Hügel gelegenen Hof mit mehreren Fewos. Das Appartment Sunset bietet Platz, Abendsonne und einen wunderbaren Blick ins Tal. Ein eigenes Auto ist Voraussetzung. Wir waren von 26.05. bis 04.06.2011 da, zu übrigens recht günstigen Nebensaison-Preisen. Unsere Erwartungen aus dem Online-Inserat wurden voll erfüllt. Die Wohnung ist nicht luxuriös, aber allemal ordentlich, vollständig ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Sie ist für 4-5 Erwachsene gut geeignet; wir waren zwei Familien mit insgesamt drei Kleinkindern und hatten ausreichend Platz. Die Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss sind vom Rest der Wohnung gut abgeschieden. Die Vermieter sind unkompliziert und haben uns bereits im Vorfeld mit Rat und Tat unterstützt. Beide sprechen sehr gut Englisch. Erholung ist angesagt, z.B. am großzügigen Pool, am Sandstrand bei Fano (beginnt gleich linkerhand vom Hafen), bei gemütlichen Ausflügen nach Cagli, Urbino, Perugia (zwischen 20 und 60 min entfernt) oder bei Wanderungen in den umliegenden Hügeln. Die Gegend war Ende Mai, Anfang Juni alles andere als überlaufen. Wir haben in den Marken und auf Ca Battista genau die Ruhe und Erholung gefunden, die wir uns erhofft hatten. Gute Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Kultur, Natur, ... Kurz: Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sunset apartment in October

We spent a wonderful 10 days at the Sunset apartment at the end of October. It was spacioius and comfortable, the log fire fabulous, the views stunning, and the area just wonderful to explore and discover, with excellent walking. For my husband and myself we needed recuperation and found the whole area - gastronomically, culturally, and visually, stunning. We bought provisions locally from the village or from Acqualanga or Cagli, both close by. The owner was very supportive and made us very welcome. A wonderful place - will go again - and a good place for family groups. We loved it.

Very well

We (my sister, I and my dog) spent 4 days in September at C'a Battista Sunset Apartment. Everything was very well. There a a lot of old beautiful towns in the proximity and picturesquely situated. We have good cooked with truffles and already had a good time. Thank you for 4 days of idleness.

Gerne wieder

Wir waren Ende August 2010 für 4 Tage im Appartement Sunrise und hatten dort schöne Tage. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön gelegen und der perfekte Ort, um einen erholsamen Urlaub in den Marken zu genießen. Die Anfahrt von Pole zum Anwesen ist etwas abenteuerhaft (nicht befestigter steiler Weg). Besonders hervorzuheben ist die grandiose Aussicht vom Pool aus. Für uns zwei und unseren Hund war das Appartement gut geeignet, für mehrere Gäste wäre es etwas zu klein. Das Appartement ist gut ausgestattet (incl. Fliegengitter). Es gibt mehrere sehr schöne mittelalterliche Orte in der Umgebung, die einen Abstecher wert sind. Alles in allem schöne Tage in schöner Umgebung.

Long Weekend in October

We have just returned from a long weekend at C'a Battista Sunset Apartment. I went with my mother (a spritely 79) and my two sisters. The property was lovely. The views stupendous. Simonetta gave us a very good recommendation at a nearby restaurant, and we visited Urbino to see the Ducal Palace and Raphael's house and had one relaxed afternoon at the house. It wasn't quite warm enough to swim, but would have been on the day we left. My only advice would be to buy a map of the area before getting there, as it would have been much easier to find our way around, although we tracked one down in Urbino on the second day. The property was clean, the beds warm at night and there was a lovely looking fire and plenty of wood for cooler months. We shopped at Aqualagna on the way and had simple breakfasts and suppers on the terrace as well as some nice meals out. I would highly recommend this property. We flew in and out from Bologna, a good two hours away, but had a happy pitstop at Ravenna looking at the mosaics on the way back.

Highly recommended, great break with my family.

I was recommended this region by a friend and i will be coming back next year with my family. Location is excellent, spectacular views, the pool and natural surroundings kept my kids entertained while my wife and I relaxed in our very homely property ( well furnished). We went on a few outings, we bought truffles and wine, there are also factory outlets with gucci, armani brands for half price. we also when to urbino and the last day we went to a local waterfall where the kids could play. There is Ancona airport 40min away where we found ryanair flights to london for nothing. Great for family holiday and very romantic too. landlady very helpful.
