Flanders farm was integrated to more than 500 years in the family by charter issued in the year 1437 by the Infante D. Henry the Navigator, pioneer of the Portuguese discoveries.
With a privileged location in the center of the country, the house can serve panoply of events from leisure, family vacations to friends meetings, etc.
With a magnificent view of the Serra do Sico, the Quinta offers a combination of charm, tranquility and authenticity que will not remain indifferent to the eyes of the traveler.

Served by two airports (Lisbon and Porto) the Farm Flanders is the central point for Those who seek to enjoy the pleasures of Nature, allied with the cultural richness and the agitation of a proper holiday abroad.
The house is located a few km from the Casino and the beaches of Figueira da Foz, 20 km from the beaches of Whale Bone and Vieira de Leiria, and located between the emblematic places of Fatima and Coimbra.
It is easily accessible by motorway to Nazaré beach, Obidos Medieval Village, historic cities of Alcobaça and Batalha, Ruins of Conimbriga and Buçaco Mountain, and the city of Tomar.

A genuine taste of Portuguese country life.

A genuine taste of Portuguese country life from a bygone age. Picture the country house of an old landed Portuguese family, added onto and updated across the centuries, complete with a 400 year old chapel. Once a working estate, now a family vacation home, surrounded by the fields and orchards of the quinta, the words to describe it are authentic and charming. The location is perfect for exploring central Portugal, half way between Porto and Lisboa and 30 minutes from several UNESCO listed sites. Our hosts were very welcoming. The caretaker family, who live nearby, resolved any (of the few and minor) issues promptly. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
