Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay is an ever changing panorama of spectacular sunsets, teeming wildlife, graceful sailboats, and impressive ships. We invite you to enjoy it from a truly wonderful, tranquil, historic location, Love Point! Located just 4.5 miles north of the Bay Bridge, we are 10 minutes to shopping, 20 minutes to historic Annapolis, 40 minutes to Baltimore and 50 minutes to Washington, DC. This charming 2800 sq.ft. landscaped ranch home is situated on 1+ acres with 200' of shoreline. There is a dock with ladder providing easy access to the bay for boating, fishing and swimming (sandy bottom). Afterwards enjoy the hot/cold OUTDOOR SHOWER!! The interior spaces are comfortably furnished - a cathedral ceiling spans the kitchen/family room space with large windows. A separate living room looks out to the street and additional multipurpose room with bathroom and sliding doors to back deck offers several public sitting areas. Tables, chairs and loungers outside on the trex deck allow one to relax with a sea breeze while taking in the glorious view. A fire pit, shade trees, hammock, dock, and deck compliment the private and expansive back and side yard.

Furnishings are an eclectic and colorful mix of antiques and hand painted furniture which has been collected on the eastern shore and abroad. TVs with cable or fire sticks are in 3 rooms. A piano for music lovers is in the living room. There are hardwood floors throughout and many ceiling fans as well as adjustable ac units. The finished basement serves as a space for foos ball, board games, puzzles, etc. A side adjacent lot allows extra space for soccer, volleyball etc.

The house sleeps 4-6 people most comfortably. On the mail level there are 6 beds and an additional queen downstairs.

Outdoor space is amazing. Large backyard with bay views in a quiet neighborhood. Only a few minutes away from restaurants, wineries. Inside had plenty of seating areas.

We had an amazing stay in Stevensville. The house was clean and comfortable and had all the touches of home we needed! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the house was clean. The real magic, however, was outside. The view is incredible and the breeze off the Chesapeake is wonderful. We loved sitting on the porch and dock and soaking up the sunshine. Paula was a fabulous host and was very responsive and accommodating. We would love to stay here again!!

The location cannot be beat. North of the bridge with fabulous panoramic view across the Chesapeake in the northern residential area of Love Point. Home comfortably accommodated 8 on some days without using one of the sleeping areas and 2 on others. An older home with open floor plan and peaked ceiling for kitchen, dinning and living. There are 2 other ‘living’ areas. Back yard and deck are spacious welcoming and well maintained. We played allot of croquet ball rolling and tiddy pool splashing with our grandson. House is solid in high gale rains as well. Paula is delightful to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was very nice and located in a quiet area by the bay bridge. Plenty of room to spread out. Easy access to the highway. The space in the yard was fantastic with a great deck to enjoy the view of the bay. The host was very responsive to any questions I had. There are a couple of wineries close to the property.

We (50-something years old couple) stayed for ten days in August 2026, and we loved this little piece of bay heaven. The view is literally the best on the whole Kent island. We watched the sunset every day, property's multiple seating arrangements (such as two decks in the back, chairs on the hill, little shore deck and the water deck) provide multiple options throughout the day to find some shade and enjoy the water view. We fished (blue crabs interfered with it constantly), watched the wildlife. Morning yoga on the water deck. The house is very clean, and it has everything you need for your stay: utensils, dishes, pots and pans, enough supply of everything else needed for kitchen or bathrooms. I found the king size mattress quite comfortable. It's a quiet and beautiful place, and I would stay here again. Note: the place would not be good for families with small children. There is no easy water access, stony shore.

Outstanding view of Chesapeake Bay. Beautiful morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Every morning I had my coffee outside on one of the lounges watching cargo ships, cruise ships, sailboats and crabberman checking their pots as well the variety of birds looking for breakfast. Very relaxing.

Great location

It was a very beautiful view. We had a lot of fun at the house and going places around the area. Couldn’t use the downstairs because of some allergies issues but we managed just fine. It was great for a long weekend with family.

The view from the property is absolutely amazing. The property itself is a little dated and needs some TLC. It's also a little cluttered, but has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. On our arrival, the house key was not under the front doormat as stated in the arrival instructions on VRBO. As there is little cell service (and we couldn't access the provided Internet service until we had the password from inside the house), we the had to travel back to town in order to get a cell signal and contact the host and get the lockbox code. The property is handicap accessible. Be aware the dock is really not set up for mooring a boat, but for viewing the bay, relaxing, kayaking and swimming. There are two wineries nearby that were fun to visit ...one had live music.The town of Stevensville is good for a nice day trip. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Love Point

The house is just as described! Perfect views of bay and great dock! Watch the Osprey circle and enter their nest from the yard. Kitchen was well stocked everything you need to cook in. Restaurants and winery close. Beautiful property pictures don’t do it justice. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful site, right on the water!

It is a beautiful site, directly on the water. The property needs some TLC. It is a nice home, but also needs some updating. We had an ant problem and the basement was too musty to use.

Stunning Views of the Chesapeake Bay

My family had a wonderful weekend at Paula's house celebrating our daughter's wedding. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is very close to many of the area wedding venues. The view of the Chesapeake Bay is amazing!!! Paula's house is very comfortable with lots of great spaces that my family enjoyed. The ramp was an extra bonus since my 94-year old Mom sometimes uses a wheelchair. Wonderful family weekend. Thank you Paula!

Beautiful Waterfront Get-Away

My wife, my two dogs and I loved our stay at Paula's property. The house was quiet, comfortable, and clean and had lots of great spaces to hang out and enjoy. We spent most of our time on the dock catching perch and watching all of the nesting ospreys fishing and feeding their young, which was great fun. We completely failed to catch or even observe the presence of any crabs, but that did little to take away from our happiness there. We are excited for our next opportunity to come visit Paula's place.

Spacious

House is very spacious with 3 FULL bathrooms and an outdoor shower- really unusual for a dog friendly place. Only thing that made it less than perfect was no access to water for kids and dogs (there is a ladder off the nice pier). Terrapin Park with nice beach is about 3 miles away. Great fire pit! Basement is not user-friendly because of moldy odor.

Loved the View!

My family really enjoyed the location of this home and the house was exceptionally roomy. A few issues marred a perfect score, and it would have been good to have been informed of them earlier, especially that we could not do laundry. However, to be fair, the host offered to send out a handy man to check out the sulfur smell of the water, but we could not coordinate an entry with our little dog in the house. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this peaceful area.

Week on the Bay

This property was well suited to our family needs. We fished from the dock. We played badminton on the front yard. We enjoyed our meals outdoors or in depending on the weather. The kids played and slept downstairs and could make almost all the noise they wanted while adults could be together upstairs. The ramp and roll in shower accomodated our family member who sometimes needs to use a wheelchair. Thank you for offering this property.

Really Wonderful Visit

We stayed at the house for a long weekend and found exactly the relaxation and time spent with family that we were after. The house and backyard both have ample conversation areas for both large group and private conversations. We never felt as if we were "on top" of each other or in each others way, and when we wanted to spend time together as an entire group that was also easily accommodated. The backyard view is perfectly gorgeous. Could spend the entire afternoon just watching the osprey tend to their nests and the other local wildlife. Nearby there's a also a great vineyard that we enjoyed a flight of wines and spent the afternoon there on the water - lovely. Would definitely return in the future.

Bachelorette Weekend

My friends and I contacted Paula last minute about renting this property for a Bachelorette party after a previous rental fell through. Paula (owner) was very accommodating with our situation and we were able to rent the house for the weekend. The house is wonderful! We were able to cook meals at home and all of the necessary cooking utensils were provided. There were plenty of bedrooms and two full baths, which were perfect for our group of girls. The rooms were all decorated very cute and comfortable; there is also a music player that plays music throughout the house. The house is great for families and friends of all ages. The backyard and view is truly breath-taking! There were outdoor tables, which we ate dinner on, and lounge chairs, so we spent the evenings on the deck. The yard is huge and leads to a dock. We swam and hung out on the dock for a full day. After discussing a local winery with Paula, she went to the winery, told the winery owners we'd be coming, and even purchased a bottle of wine for us to enjoy upon arriving! Lastly, I accidentally left some things at the house and Paula met me promptly and returned the items! We truly enjoyed our weekend at the house and hope to stay again. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a great time with friends or family!

Great Thanksgiving

We stayed at the bay and cooked a fabulous Thanksgiving meal here. There was everything we needed and the spacious kitchen was an easy place to do our cooking. The view is great. The house is filled with unique and interesting items; it was a lot of fun discovering new ones. We needed easy access due to mobility problems - there are two walk in showers which is a rare find. My son's only concern was that almost all of the furniture was so low that he had a hard time getting up. The host was very responsive to us. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone.
