Chesapeake Bay Waterfront Home

This well kept waterfront smoke free home is the perfect getaway for one or two families. The direct views of the Chesapeake Bay are spectacular from the living room, kitchen, front porch, as well as the 2 master bedroom suites on the second floor. The house is located on 1 acre of private and very quiet property. The two master suites each have a queen bed, and a day bed. They share a 6 foot whirlpool tub, with locking doors from each bedroom. The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and full bath. The living room also has a sleep sofa.

Water views of the Bay are fabulous, whether in the house, or relaxing on our hammock in the shade of the trees, or comfortably sitting on our 80 foot pier. In addition, the Bay offers breathtaking sunsets and relaxing breezes, while watching sailboats, fishing boats and ships cruise along the water.
This home is located in the fishing village of Deal Island on the Tangier Sound. If you rise early on a foggy morning, you may experience hearing our loon that loves to swim around the pier.
The afternoon brings in the pelicans as they fly overhead and the evenings offer wonderful stargazing.

The house is located in a very private sub-division, just a half mile from the deal Island Bridge and marina.
Both ends of the island offer public boat ramps, where you can see local skipjack and fishing captains. Charter fishing and cruises can be reserved with boat captains at Wenona and Deal Island harbours. You will also enjoy hiking, fishing or crabbing. This is a great place to relax and decompress from the fast pace of city life.

Guests are encouraged to stock up on groceries at the Food Lion in Princess Anne, which also has several Eastern shore-style restaurants, as well as fast food choices. .

Great House

Organized a fishing trip with fraternity brothers in Deal Island, MD. This house was perfect. Very clean, nice amenities and right on the water. I had rented 2 houses, but everyone came to this house to enjoy the water and weather. Very happy with the lodging, communication and we had a great time.

Perfect place to rest and relax

This place is wonderful! Spacious and well- appointed, clean, quiet, and lovely. It is nowhere near a grocery store or gas station, but if you know that going in, you can plan accordingly. We spent a couple of days visiting wineries and local venues, and some precious very needed time reading, relaxing, watching spectacular sunsets, spotting dolphins, and even tried kayaking! The property is just as described, make sure to follow the directions given by the owner, not Google! Thank you for a spectacular vacation!

Beatiful Bay View

This home has a beautiful Bay view! Great Bay views from both upstairs bedrooms. We had a wonderful week at this house. My son caught lots of crabs from the dock. The home says there is a whirlpool tub but the water to fill the tube is green. The little beach next door was perfect for our kiddos. We did have some difficulty in dealing with the owner. Deal island is a great place to get away from the regular hustle and bustle.

When we entered the house food was in the frig and freezer. Garbage was left in the garbage can in the kitchen. Stove, frig, table was not clean so I called VRBO. My answer I received was you need to call the owner. He told me he cleaned it himself so I told him his cleaning and my cleaning are two different things. I have pictures. The door where you enter looks like a junk yard. Old boat, old grill, old lawn tractor and the outside shower I wouldn't put a dog in it.

It's the water! Perfect 90ﾟ view

Very nice place quiet peaceful the views were fabulous. The owner was kind attentive and generous. In exchange for all of that peace and quiet,You will drive 30 minutes minimum to a grocery store or a decent restaurant. All that said, We would come here again.

Nice view of the bay

We were disappointed when we arrived. The front entrance area wasn't pictured online and now I know why. It was trashy looking with multiple trashcans, a lawnmower, boat with torn cover, an outdoor shower that had life jackets hanging from it, a jet ski - everything was everywhere and it looked tacky. Inside was pretty clean. There was an open beer bottle left out. The kitchen had items that needed wiping down or even washed. The toilet bowls were dirty (inside bowl). Overall, the inside of the house was pretty clean. there are no blinds upstairs. So, on a hot day it will be hard to keep it cool. The owners do not want you to open any windows. This you'll learn when you arrive. The owner would answer some questions. And, others - he just wouldn't reply at all. I had to call VRBO to find out if the house was available to rent because I didn't get an answer from the owner. Nice dock and we enjoyed sitting out by the water. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

good time

WEhad avery nice time at this house. it is an older, very comfortable house with an outstanding view. our grandson throughly enjoyed fishing and crabbing. the neighborhood is very quiet but we were entertained by fireworks friday thru MONDAY nights. the kitchen was very well equipped please note that the indoorsteps are quite steep. we would recommend this place.

Waterside retreat

Lovely quiet neighborhood with a private beach. Outstanding views and a private dock. Good bike riding in the area. Kayaks at the house for use. It is 20 minutes to the nearest grocery store. Very limited restaurant options closer than 20 minutes. Limited options 20 minutes away. More options 45 minutes away.

The property has everything you need to get away and relax! Private and the house is furnished properly. Have fun crabbing Or just hanging out on the dock. Go to the beach on the property to take a swim. Good experience with the owner Yuri gives you all the details for the property. Definitely recommend.

Could not have asked for a better first time experience!

My family and I loved the property. We are first time visitors to Deal Island and could not have hoped for a better experience. The house was amazing and well stocked. Fishing and crabbing right out front and a safe private beach where the he kids loved using the kayaks and canoe. And some of the most beautiful sunsets. The community is very nice and it is so quiet and peaceful. We look forward to making this an annual adventure.

1 major inconvenience

Place was nice, however upon arriving we find out washer broken and would not be replaced till after our stay. Daughter-in-law had to go twice to laundromat ($40) we were told we would be reimbursed, however would have been nice to known before hand. 2nd issue sewage clogged and toliets,showers were over flowing however after a call owner came and fixed that problem and the rest of our week was uneventful. Beautiful weather, private beach was very nice. Just a ruff start to our vacation.

We already want to return, so peaceful

We travel quite a bit and this was as nice, or the nicest home/ location we have ever visited. I hope I can get my mom and other family members to join us next year. The fishing, kayaking, lounging on the beach with no one in sight, wonderful kitchen, views from the bedrooms, hammock and back porch, let alone super comfy beds were as good as it gets. Don't forget the whirlpool bath, 3 restrooms and 3 showers! Thanks for having us.

We found the best! After several years looking on Deal Island and surrounding communities, our family found exactly what we were looking for here! Our family enjoyed every part of this beautiful home on the Bay. The kitchen had every utensil, pot, pan, etc. that you could think of! The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms are HUGE! There's a whirlpool tub located between the 2 master bedrooms on the second floor. It looked very inviting, but we could not pull ourselves away from the outdoors to enjoy it. Great, quiet location, close enough to the water to hear the waves, and the passing fishing boats, but far enough away for the kids to enjoy yard games while the adults relax on the sun porch, or the deck. The fishing from the pier on the property is excellent, and the crabbing even better! The kids spent HOURS each day at the beach, located just steps from the back door of the house. The kayaks provided are well maintained and provided the kids (and adults) with many hours of fun and exercise. I am anxiously awaiting my vacation schedule for next year so I can book our next vacation. The entire family is insisting that we return to this Deal Island home! Yuri, thank you for allowing my family to rent your home! We look forward to returning next year, and we will plan on staying longer!!

Great weekend on Deal Island

House is older, but extremely clean, stocked and well kept. Dock, small private beach, and views were all amazing. Not sure if this was particular to the time of year, but I also didn't see A SINGLE MOSQUITO, which I wasn't expecting anywhere on the eastern shore. There are LOTS of dragonfly's, but they don't bother people, look kind of neat, and I suspect eat all the mosquito. A great weekend away from civilization with the family.

Secluded and relaxing Deal Island vacation

We stayed in June and enjoyed the amazing views, the pier for crabbing and fishing, and the beach. The beach may as well have been private, because we were the only ones who used it all week. The rental was budget friendly, probably due to its seclusion and 20 minute drive to Princess Anne, but the accommodations exceeded typical beach cottage rentals... The upstairs bedrooms, each with private bath and million dollar view, are great for large families. We visit the Chesapeake annually, and this is among our favorite properties.
