We really enjoyed staying in this home. It has a classic homey feeling. Everyone just took a deep breath and relaxed. The air conditioning was wonderful. We found all the basics easily. The decorations are fun and the towels are fluffy! We definitely recommend this stay!

Sunshine hike getaway

We escaped the grey winter of Michigan seeking some sunshine and unique hiking of Death Valley. Property is also close to the Red Rock Canyon another favorite hiking spot of ours. Home was well equiped with the amenities we needed for some home cooked meals and rest for the next adventure.

3 bedroom home 1 hour from Death Valley National Park

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was a good base for our travels - to go hiking at Death Valley National Park (1 hour 15 minutes), and then 1 hour to the Las Vegas Airport. We are not gun owners, but liked the unique decor!

Front Sight Retreat

Great place to crash after a long day on the range. Everything here that you need to refuel as well as review - as they have a practice room for dry practice with all the manuals.

absolutely the best place in Pahrump to stay!

We love the Fisher's home. It couldn't be better for a trip to Front Sight, but is great for any trip to Pahrump. The Fisher's are so wonderful to work with, the house has plenty of beds for a large family or group. And this may sound like a small thing... but after a long day on the range shooting at Front Sight, it's a big deal... the Master Shower is powerful and hot and GREAT! Nothing fancy, but exactly what we need. If this place is available, you're crazy to pick anywhere else.

The home itself was perfect for my grandsons that are very interested in firearms and the education. We are also a family that comes with poker experience and the table kept us busy on our down time. With the security cameras located around us, I spent a few hours just watching to see if there would be wildlife crossing. My daughter waited for the donkeys. Nothing this time maybe next time.

Peaceful and pleasant

Aileen is a fantastic host. She responded to our queries in time and provided all the required information about the place and amenities. The place is located in a nice secluded area filled with all the niceties to enjoy a weekend stay with family and friends. The kitchen is equipped with full range of utensils. The bedrooms are big and cozy. Place is a short drive to near by restaurants. We stayed here to explore Death Valley. Though it’s far from Death Valley, this place suited for our big group. It’s fun to be at a place where the whole group is together and this place provides you that opportunity. You will not go wrong booking this place. You will only end up with pleasant memories. 🙂 This place is perfect for 4 adults and up to 4 children. Aileen went above and beyond in shippping the items we forgot at their place. Thanks again for making our stay a comfortable and memorable one.

House was good. Owners were great. Place was clean. Only downside was the water pressure in the 2nd shower. The master bath shower was fine but the 2nd shower water pressure was pretty weak. Other than that house was great for us.

Since 2007 we have spent winters in Pahrump continually Improving and updating the Front Sight "compound”, with students in mind, in addition to golfing, sight seeing, shooting at the range Gene likes exploring with his ATV
Soon after, we started the first vacation rental in Pahrump, we quickly realized what excellent guests Front sight Students were so immediately started renting exclusively to fellow Front Sight members. We travel to Oregon May - October in our large RV to fish our freezer troller with our grandsons for tuna and salmon off the Oregon and Washington coasts. At the end of each season we can a ton of tuna when the tuna are at and full of Omega 3 to sell off the Internet during winter.
We sold our home and Christmas tree farm in Seattle, moved to Pahrump and bought a beautiful new home 3 miles from the vacation rental. We love meeting fellow Front Sight member guests and have gained many new Front Sight friends since we started the first vacation rental in Pahrump. We also enjoy having some of our new returning guest friends over to dinner during their trips to Front Sight. Even though we are Navy family (daughter Robin retired as a Chief Petty Officer with 27 years) Gene likes to run up other branch flags on the flag pole to replace his Navy flag depending on the guest branch of service. -During the six winter months Gene's spare time consists of playing golf, and either shooting at Front Sight, or in the back country while exploring on his ATV. Why they chose this property

While attending Front Sight in 2007 we fell in love with Pahrump and decided to retire here. Gene says living this close to Front Sight is like living next to Disney land for kids :-) Pahrump has great weather, living expenses are 30% cheaper than our home in Seattle, the sales taxes are half, no income tax, and best of all the locals are Conservatives and 2nd Amendment Advocates. We also picked this location because it was Rural, Quiet, Secluded on 2.5 Fenced acres and closest to Front Sight. It is (1) Mile from Lakeside Casino-(2) miles from Mountain Falls Executive Golf Course- (2) miles from VFW club, (2) Miles from Tower Pizza Parlor, (2) miles from Sanders Family Winery, and(4) miles from downtown Pahrump (25)miles to Death Valley National Park.
Have you ever wondered if My Pillow and his Giza sheets are worth the high price? Gene is a Constitutional Conservative and a Patriot ,so as soon as he heard Patriot Mike Lindell (My Pillow guy) was targeted and dropped by several vendors, he order all new bedding for the rental from Mike Lindell.

Couch makes into a bed and there is also an air mattress and pump.

Two dry practice areas. Get feedback on your dry practice; laser target, and a gong target. 9mm,45,40 caliber laser cartridges, 20 &12 Gauge dummy shells - (2) Red guns-laser sighting kit (all calibers) ; fully stocked honor bar.
Map (4 Miles) to desert shooting "Sight your rifle in". Zero at 50 yards for Front Sight; target stand- table-chair- gun rests, and Front Sight targets (replace targets on the honor system or or pony up :-) in the honor bar jar.
New auto loading clay pigeon, self-operated thrower clay pigeons. Battery furnished or connects to your car battery) Use this system including clay pigeons, also honor system (put the money in the honor bar jar)
