Wonderful stay! This was our 2nd time at Lakefront and it was as cozy as we remembered. There are so many nice details - soaking tub, massage chair, comfy beds, heated toilet seats, wood burning stove, binoculars for bird watching, bird and deer food. We had plenty of snow and it was like a winter wonderland. We also enjoyed playing shuffleboard at the lodge and sledding on the hills at the golf course. The perfect family getaway! Counting the days till we can return.

Beautiful and scenic home

We came here as winter getaway and it was everything we’d hoped for. There was a fair amount of snow which made the entire lake resort a wonderland. Great fireplace, extremely comfortable, and loved seeing the deer and birds. We can’t wait to come back!

Great House for a Getaway

The house is very comfortable and the view and walking trail across the road are great. It was wonderful sitting out on the porch by the pond at night where we listened to the frog and the birds. Very easy drive to Deep Creek.

Beautiful view and spacious cabin

Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your home. We love Alpine Lake and have rented cabins there since we sold our in the early 2000's. The cabin is very spacious and nice. The view is breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place and the most comfortable beds! We enjoyed the outside firepit, cedar tub and a nice walk around the lake. We loved staying here and would definitely come back again. The owner was so nice and helpful. It helped make our holidays extra special! Thank you!!

This is our second time staying here and we love it. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, the house is surrounded by trees with beautiful views of the lake from the front porch. The feeding trough is a highlight, we loved seeing the deer (and squirrels and chipmunks) come to eat. We ended up buying our own bag of feed from the Tractor Supply store from going through so much. We also enjoyed the fire pit and making s'mores. The road out front is not busy at all, only local traffic. The host kept us informed of any neighborhood updates and was very responsive. That said, we had no issues, and didn't want to leave. Also, we highly recommend Tomanetti's in Oakland, always delicious.

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. The beds and towels were also clean. Now I will say that the smoke detector battery needs to be changed. It beeped all weekend and the spiderwebs were everywhere. The house just needs to be dusted .

Loved it

The house had everything we needed. The host communicated great with us if we had questions, and also to let us know about an issue with the water heater that would need fixed on the day of our arrival, which worked out well. The location is the best part. We loved to sit on the front porch, or in the hammock we brought, to just enjoy the view and being outside. Enjoyed many walks and exploring by the lake.

This house is everything it says it is! The house is absolutely beautiful, the area is extremely quite and relaxing. The house is very well stock.My husband loves nature and he was obsessed with feeding the wildlife. Having the deer come right up to the deck was beautiful. I would highly rec!

Ideal Lake House Vacation

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the Lakefront. The surrounding resort has so much to offer we barely had to leave. There is a private beach on the lake and kayaks to rent. Plus stunning views, trails and intriguing wildlife. The house is great as well. A large common area as well, as private spaces. The biggest key to me about the house was the kitchen. This was one of the most well stocked rental home kitchens I've stayed at. I felt so much at home preparing meals for my family!

We again had a great time at the Lakehouse. The pond was fun to watch and the atmosphere was so pleasant. Two suggestions. Provide portable fans and pan scrubbers in the kitchen. Thanks again for offering your lovely home.

Great weekend!

What a fantastic house! We had a great time with our friends at the lakefront cabin and will definitely be back. I must say, the heated toilet seat was a highlight for us in the cold weather.. ha! All the amenities were as advertised and the condition of the house was perfect. We look forward to going back!
