About this property

Waterfront Northern Lake George, 2 homes a ranch and a 1890's boathouse

Our property is located on the northern end of Lake George with a beautiful view looking south. You'll be situated on 2 acres of prime waterfront property with 325' ft of shoreline to enjoy. There are 2 homes on this unique property.
The Big/main House (1st home) was originally built in 1947. It was one of the first “modern architectural designs” with red oak flooring throughout on the northern end of Lake George.
This sprawling ranch home is sitting on a terrace about 30 feet above the water with spectacular views due South.
The house was originally built as a large two-bedroom summer home with one and a half baths. The large kitchen, dining room, and living room all have lake views. Lake views also from the primary bedroom (queen), and the second bedroom (full and twin beds). In 2000 an east addition wing was added. It consists of 2 bedrooms, (queen and King), a full bath, a 2nd living room, a kitchenette, and its own deck. The deck has additional outdoor seating with a view.
The outside is where the families spend most of the daylight hours. A huge (16x 30) flagstone patio off the original home has 3 tables for dining and multiple chairs. There is also a covered porch with rattan furniture. All of which provide ample room for dining, enjoying the view, sunning, and lounging.

The Boat House (2nd home) is located directly over the water. This is truly a one-of-a kind experience. Built in the late 1800’s as a butler’s quarters for the estate has been turned into another home for our family. Its quaint charm is associated with life from a different era.
Upstairs consists of one bedroom (queen), a kitchen, a dining area open to the living room, and a bathroom with a shower.
Downstairs has two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The bathroom is located in the first bedroom (queen). The second bedroom has two bunk beds featuring a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on the top. Downstairs has direct access to the dock from both bedrooms.
No matter where you sleep, you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of the water.
The boathouse has a 120' dock, plenty of room to swim, sun bath, and enjoy all water activities. The west side is 20 ft wide, east side is 8 ft wide with an "L" at the southern end.
