Pool is seasonal Memorial Day through October 1st season permitting.

THIS HOME WAS SCOUTED BY PARAMOUNT PICTURES FOR THE FILM "DADDY'S HOME2! FEATURING MARK WAHLBURG AND WILL FERRELL. It was so exciting to have them come out from California to photograph and film our home!

SLEEPS 16 IN BEDS

Home has a wheelchair ramp going up to the back deck with access to the master bedroom, laundry room, living room, dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom has lower sinks for handicap accessibility and also a shower with a seat in it.

This beautiful Log home is located a short 30 minute drive from Chattanooga, TN. We are not located on Lookout Mountain however we "lookout over mountains." Experience the ultimate in relaxation as you look off your porch at miles and miles of serene beautiful landscape and mountains. Grab a cup of coffee, relax, enjoy this time with your family. Best of all we are NOT a rental company. We are the owners, we live 5 minutes away and we are here to make sure you have the best vacation you have had!

This home has a wonderful inground sparkling swimming *pool, hot tub, bon fire pit and huge game room with outdoor basketball goal!

(Pool is seasonal and only open from May to October. Exact days of opening in May is to be determined so just ask!)

Just a short 5 minute drive off I-75.
Here are our rooms and the beds in each.

"Bears Cove" Main floor. King Bed. Master bath with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and shower with a seat and his and hers showerheads. Has french doors out to the pool. Also has a recliner.

"The Overlook" Top Floor. King Bed. Steps away from bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Has an ottoman that folds out into a twin bed with a thick memory foam mattress.

"Drift Away" Top Floor. Queen Bed. Reading Nook with chair.

"The Hideaway" Top floor. Note**you must walk through this room to get to "Drift Away"

"Bears Den" Basement Level. Queen Bed. Steps away from bathroom with tub/shower combo. Gameroom is also on this level.

"Rivers Edge" Basement Level. 1 Set of twin bunk beds and 2 sets of day beds one with trundle. Total sleeps 5 in twin beds.

Main level: Drive up level. 2 car garage. Pool. Kitchen, Dining, Living room, laundry, "Mountain Memories" bed and bath.

Top Floor: Sitting room with Couch, loveseat and recliner.
The Hideaway, The Overlook and Drift Away are on this level. Also 1 full bath.

Basement level: Bears Den, Rivers Edge, full bath and Game room.

This home is Tornado/Storm ready with solid poured concrete basement walls. Safe!

This property was incredible! Suited our big group so well and had so many wonderful spaces for us to gather in different moments and activities. The hot tub and pool were great, and we really enjoyed the downstairs game room. The property and view is beautiful and the HOSTS WERE AWESOME. Very accommodating and quick with communication. My family, including children and grandchildren, had our annual vacation here. We enjoyed our stay very much. The weather didn't cooperate one day but otherwise the pool was used constantly. I liked being in a place where we didn't have immediate neighbors but we're close enough to stores etc to be convenient. We did several activities in Chattanooga as it was only about a 30 minute drive. The house meet our needs with large enough bedrooms and enough beds. The kitchen had the majority of items needed for cooking as we ate all our meals at the house. If we have our vacation in this area again I will not hesitate to book this property.

The house and setting were beautiful and it was big enough for our families to have their own spaces while still being together. The game room and pool were big hits with all ages. There were lots of towels and bedding, and the washer and dryer made it easy to keep up with laundry. It was for the most part clean but there was dust in the corners, cobwebs on/under the lampshades and on the blinds, and the blind over the kitchen sink was dusty and dirty. The fridge also hadn't been wiped out before we arrived. Overall, it was a great place to stay but the cleanliness could be improved.

I also really appreciate you sharing your concerns about cleanliness. I want you to know that we take cleanliness and sanitation very seriously. This is a six-bedroom, 3.5-bath cabin, so during our busy season we often have a guest checking out at 10:00 AM and another arriving at 4:00 PM. During that short window, our cleaning team has a tremendous amount to accomplish — including completely turning over the entire home, sanitizing bathrooms and high-touch areas, cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming and mopping, changing all of the bedding, washing comforters and shams, replacing linens and towels, and making sure the home is ready for the next family. Because of the limited turnover time, our priority is always making sure the areas our guests use most are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for their arrival. Deeper-detail items such as dust in corners, blinds, and cobwebs around fixtures are addressed more extensively during our slower periods when we have additional time to work through those areas. That said, we absolutely appreciate you pointing these things out, because it gives us areas to pay closer attention to during our busy season as well. We never want a guest to feel that the home wasn't properly cleaned when they arrive. Thank you again for staying with us and for the kind words about the property. We’re glad your group had a great overall experience, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again!

Absolutely loved the cabin, the views were amazing. Host was very accommodating. The only negative review is having to do laundry before a 10 am check out. We were in town for our sons wedding and had a very late night before. Would have loved to sleep in a bit, but had to get up early to make sure the beach towels were washed and dried and a load of the bath towels washed. That is the only reason I did not give a five star review.

Lovely home, lots of room for lounging and connecting. The house has many extras that I have not had at other VRBOs, like spices and paper towels. Although the instructions require starting the dishwasher, there was no dishwasher soap. We lost hot water on the first night. The host was easy to reach, but it took several hours to fix, and the upstairs bathroom did not have hot water the entire weekend. The house needs a thorough, deep clean. The superficial level was clean; linens and towels were clean, but there were lots of dust, cobwebs, dead bugs, and bees in several rooms.

Also the hot water in the bathroom upstairs is backwards in both shower and sink. It's always been that way since we bought it. There is supposed to be a note on the mirror. Perhaps that was missing! I'm so sorry about that!!

Stay was great but the only issue with the house was the hot tub surface that was under water was covered in some fuzzy algae film, so we did not use that.

The cabin is huge and in a beautiful location. There was plenty of room for 10 adults or more . The living room furniture is comfortable and easy for older adults to get up after sitting. Plenty of dining room for shared meals. We enjoyed the hot tub, sitting on the back porch and taking photos from the front balcony. This would be a great place for grandparents to take adult children and grandchildren. Plenty of parking and turnaround space. Hosts were great.

We enjoy the serene surroundings of this home. The peace and quiet is unmatched. Trust me the drive to downtown is nothing! 30 short minutes. Although some attractions on Lookout Mountain may take longer to get to than 30 minutes but it is worth it to stay here!
