Our family loved the property!! The grandsons loved playing on the trampoline. The adults loved sitting on the back patio drinking coffee and just enjoying the cool weather and chatting. The grandsons also enjoyed playing with the toys (cars) left for them, the media room was so comfortable with the huge beanbags!! Karin was so accommodating. The points about local events were very helpful. Loved shopping at Luckys market, eating at Luckys cafe, and getting baked goods at the creamery!! She made us feel right at home!! Thank you again for sharing your home with us!!

Perfect House for Our Multi Generational Family
This clean bi level house was perfect for our extended stay in Boulder for a family wedding. So many pluses -the quiet street with a playground, short drive into town for shopping, plenty of activities for the kids, and a modern decor that immediately felt comfortable. The three complete bathrooms made all the difference for the three families to get ready for all the wedding related events. We had a set of grandparents along with two families that included three young boys and a toddler girl. The children loved all the yard activities-the trampoline, badminton, and the swing all helped burn up all that energy and made sure they slept well each night. The home's bi level design made it possible for people to be sleeping on one level while others were busy talking on the other level. The ability for eating inside at the large sturdy table or grilling out on the deck made meals a breeze. I would recommend this home to any family planning on a trip to Boulder.

Beautiful home for a family vacation
9 of us stayed in this beautiful home and it was plenty big enough. My 3 year old grandson loved the trampoline and the toys in the house. I could not find any negatives here, I would highly recommend.

Great place to stay
This house was a great place to stay during our time in Boulder. The house has two large living/family rooms that are great areas to hang out with the people I rented the house with. And there were lots of games in the house for entertainment too. The wooden back porch has a large table which was a great way to spend time outdoors even when your day is over. The location is also very close to a nice running trail along a lake next to the mountains and walking distance from a shopping center. All of the rooms (excluding the bunkbed room) were basically larger than a normal hotel room, so everyone I rented the house with had lots of space.
The owners were very nice and helpful whenever we communicated with them and they even helped us reclaim things we left behind. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Good family home
We had a great time in Boulder - a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access by car to all of Boulder's attractions. This house fit our needs for grandma/grandpa, our son and his family and the trampoline was an added bonus for our grandson. Only negatives were the lack of a microwave and no top sheets for the beds.

We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us. As far as the microwave goes, I apologize that you didn't notice this on our site, we do not have one! Our bedding is European Style as we both grew up with this type of bedding, this mean each bed has a fitted sheet and duvet with cover. We switch out the down inserts between lighter summer weights and heavier weights in the winter. We'll make a point of making our guests better aware of this in the future.
Thanks again for staying at our home.

Wonderful Home - Definitely Recommend!!!
The homeowners are wonderful and the home is absolutely beautiful, it is perfect for a family or a couple families. We came up for our teen daughters softball tournament and it was perfect! The girls loved the cool game room, trampoline, the smart TV to play their videos through. The adults loved the upstairs balcony and refreshing air. Pearl Street is only a couple miles away, Estes Park is a quick drive up the mountain, rafting at Idaho Springs is close enough to the property and for those that like to hike, you can take a walk across Broadway and hike the mountain trails. We will definitely be looking to rent this home next year when we return to Boulder and highly recommend this home. The WiFi went down and the homeowner answered my text immediately to help walk us through the issue to get it back up and running. Also, when we encountered a small problem, the homeowner answered my call immediately and was very comforting. They refunded my deposit very fast - within 2 days of checking out. A couple notes (1) the twin bunk bed is more fitting for younger children - not teenagers, but our girls made it work :-) (2) there is only 2 TV's in the house - 1 in the game room and the other in the guest room, it worked for us as we all had iPads or laptops to watch movies in our rooms at night however it forced us spend quality time with each other and enjoy the surroundings instead of zoned out in front of the TV - it was really nice. We had a great time, played great softball and really enjoyed our time there. Thank you again Karin & Chris for opening up your lovely home to us! And thank you for working your schedule to allow us to come in a day earlier!

About the host
Hosted by Karin Uhlig
We are an active family and have lived and traveled all over (three kids born on three continents!). We searched for a long time before settling in Boulder. A decision we will never regret. Boulder is a great town, the perfect place to live an active lifestyle in summer and winter alike.
Why they chose this property
We looked all over Boulder to find a home that we could make our own. It's so bright and cheery, and the space is just right. We have friends who visit from all over the world and have comfortably slept 10 in this house for up to three weeks.
The area is relaxed and quiet but convenient to downtown Boulder, Denver, and DIA, not to mention all the great outdoor activities for which Boulder is famous.
What makes this property unique
We live in a quiet, residential area, but are only minutes away from downtown. Steps away from miles of open space trails is a big plus. You will love that deer roam the streets and graze in our front yard. You can spot a bear or a fox when lucky. Many mornings, we wake to see the deer walking down the street.
The two levels allow for privacy and quiet when needed. Ideal for groups or several families. People love that we have two bedrooms on the main level, so no stairs to navigate.
