Third floor condo in Alisez

Overall, Alisez grounds and pool were wonderful. Condo clean with a great pool view...large enough to have dinner on deck. Walking distance to 5th. avenue and less than 5 minutes to Coco beach. Some updates needed in kitchen and bathroom but overall good for the price. Pictures on website should be updated as pool has been improved with a wonderful waterfall feature. Really only a 1 bathroom unit as other toilet is on top deck which really is unusable and not great. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely stay in a beautiful well maintained unit

We have just returned from an almost 1 month stay in this unit. We were very pleased with the condo overall. Communication with the owner was always prompt and any issues were addressed in a timely fashion. The unit is perfect for 2 people and is nicely decorated and comfortable. We loved the 2 patios and used them daily. The entire complex is very green and lush and the pool is a perfect size with plenty of loungers as well as natural shade. We have stayed in many different condos in Playa over the last 10 years and although some have been more modern this complex and unit is now our favorite. It is literally 30 seconds from a beautiful beach and 5 minutes walk from the less busy end of 5th Ave. We loved it! A big thanks to Lara for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home. Lori and Wayne

Old condo

When we arrived we didnt have any hot water, the fridge was not working properly and we lost some food, the wifi was not working. The manager came after we called and repaired those things. Then the toilet stopped working and the washing machine. The owner told us there was a view on the ocean and there was none. No tv channels.. Not enough dishes and ustensiles to cook. No diswaher or oven. Old cabinets. Bad odor in the condo particularly in the laundry room. Location was great and backyard. Matelas too.

Everything we wanted, and more...

The pictures, location and price were our key reasons for booking this location. Honestly, I didn't expect the condo to live up to the pictures, especially for the price, but I was mistaken. Such a beautiful property. The perfect size for a couple. The condo was very clean and everything was in working order. The location is ideal. It's a two minute walk to the beach or to the restaurants on the northern portion of 5th Avenida. The location is just far enough away from the hustle-and-bustle of Playa and remains quiet and peaceful. It was our first time to Mexico and we were concerned about crime and our security but we couldn't have felt more relaxed and secure at this location. The booking process was a breeze. Lara (the condo's owner) was our point of contact for booking and then Vicki provided all the necessary information to prepare us for when we arrived. Vicki was very helpful when we arrived and continued to make herself available if we needed her for anything. On a side note, the condo complex offers many poolside activities throughout the week. Whether it be the $1 mixed drinks at the poolside bar on Sunday or the amazing 90-minute couples massages for $37 on Mondays!!! The location is fantastic and we can't wait to go back!

Spacious and confortable condo, not far from the so interesting 5th Avenue

From the condo, we walked every day on the 5th avenue, down to its south end OR up to the 88th street on its north side (calle 88) and then to the most beautiful and natural beach in Playa del Carmen. Two interesting one hour walking routes. The condo has a lot of space in the bedroom, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room. What we liked the most was that a breeze was almost always flowing through the condo so that, in three weeks, we used the air conditionning only for one warm night when there was no wind at all. The Wifi was excellent. We used the pool twice a day for exercise and freshness. The rear balcony overlooking the pool was perfectly shaded and welcome during the warm hours of the day. During the cool hours, the front balcony was sunny and confortable. We appreciated that a bottle (18 liters) of drinking water was always provided; we did not have to carry our water from the grocery store to the 3rd floor condo. However, since our Spanish is less than basic, we would have greatly liked to have more English speaking tv channels than only CNN. In summary, it is a very good and quiet spot to spend some time in Playa del Carmen. Lisette and Michel

DON'T RENT HERE! NOT SAFE! SCAM! FRAUD!

I rented this property two weeks ago and unfortunately upon entry to our rented unit, we found a woman sleeping, frightened half to death as we had awakened her! This key opened at least two other units which the owner acknowlegdes. How safe is a private room if everyone has the key!?! The owner said she would refund my money that day and i haven't seen a dime! Such a lack of integrity, whatever you do, don't give them any money!!!

Fully equipped condo steps from the beach

This condo is great, comfortable, has everything you need and then some. It's super clean and modern. In addition to the king sized bed in the bedroom, the sofa transforms into at least a queen sized bed (if not king).Kitchen is fully equipped and very functional. The bathroom and shower are spotless.The whole complex is nice, clean pool, gated for security. Easy walk to the beautiful beach (500 steps max). Owner and manager were great, easy communication and quick replies. Upon arrival, there are some nice touches that make you feel immediately welcomed. One of the best if not the best homeaway experience. Thanks!!

foto reali, la casa e carina e situata in una zona tranquilla, sotto casa e presente un minimarket e un ristorante italiano. arrivati all appartamento non abbiamo trovato nessuno perche ci avevano detto che non c era nessuno all ora del nostro arrivo ,percio abbiamo preso le chiavi da una cassetta di sicurezza sperando di incontrare qualcuno nei giorni dopo, purtroppo non e stato cosi, fino l ultimo giorno dove ho dovuto contattarli per la restituzione delle chiavi. la casa e situata alla fine della 5 avenida calle 46, il centro e il ritrovo dei colletivos si trova calle 2 percio o affittate un mezzo di trasporto o vi dovete fare delle lunghe camminate. al nostro arrivo la casa non era pulitissima abbiamo trovato lenti a contatto attaccate ovunque. la cosa che mi ha dato piu fastidio e il fatto che ho dovuto chiedere io la restituzione della caparra, questo comporta poca serieta. si sono persi in delle piccolezze che a me hanno dato fastidio anche perche dopotutto la casa e molto carina e fresca

Our overall stay was good. We met several other families with children so we all had a great time making new friends and hanging out together by the pool! It was a block from the beach so that was great. The outside of the building and the interior garden were very nice. Palm trees everywhere and a very pretty building The problem was with the condo. It was nice in itself but there were issues. The water went off three times so we didn't have water for hours one day. One day the washing machine flooded and then that had to be fixed. The fridge broke one day too and we had to take all of our stuff out and put into another unit until they could fix it a day later. Finally, the water pressure in our only shower was awful. It just dribbled out. You could barely get clean so someone had to come in and fix that also. Took a week for that. Rocio, the manager, was helpful and apologetic with all these issues but it was very frustrating when you are on vacation. Stuff happens but it seemed to happen over and over. Rocio made sure everything was fixed and that is what counts. We had a wonderful vacation and we would go back...

Excellent accommodations, perfect location!

The property was exactly as described and the location was excellent for enjoying all that Playa Del Carmen has to offer. Ms Vicky and her husband were very helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested an additional day and we received very easily at a reasonable price. I hope to stay at the property in the very near future!

The wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Alizes we felt rite at home.It was well cared for ,clean and secure.Its located in the quieter part of Playa within walking distance [1 mile]to a lot that Playa has to offer,or taxis are all over, 40-50 pesos will get you around Playa.Would definitely recommend it to a friend.Great place Good value.

A Vacation to Remember

What can I say....my stay at Les Alizes was amazing! Initially, my inquiry to Lara regarding the availability of her condo was met with an almost instantaneous response. From that moment on, she always sent a prompt, informative and courteous response to all my emails. The price she quoted me turned out to be an excellent value for the quality and location of her beautiful property. The beach is truly steps away and the action of 5th Avenue just far enough to allow for a quiet restful sleep after a night on the town. The condo itself exceeded my expectations; upon my arrival, it looked even better than the pictures! It is tastefully decorated with quality furnishings and artwork throughout, the floor is gorgeous (stone, slate or marble?) and the kitchen is stocked with everything one would need to cook a proper meal. The gas stove is fantastic! The private rooftop terrace could use a bit of work(replace the BBQ and update the patio furnishings) but I thoroughly enjoyed it all the same. The A/C works well, though I only used it once or twice - the two balconies allow for the fresh ocean breeze to flow through the condo. The bedroom is perfectly positioned with a balcony overlooking the idyllic common area which has a clean pool and lovely landscaping. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and fitted with fresh sheets and a good quality comforter and pillows. There is ample closet space, plenty of drawers and a safe to store one's valuables. Rocio, the property manager was so helpful and friendly. From the moment I arrived, she was there to greet me, show me around and help me settle in to my new home away from home. She gave me a lot of great advice on where to shop, eat and things to do and see. Thank you Rocio! I cannot say enough about Lara's condo and my stay at Les Alizes. Thank you Lara for sharing your beautiful place with me - I hope to be back very soon!

Casa Bellisima

Gilberto and I(Susie) had a wonderful time at Playa del Carmen. Les Alisez was the perfect place for us. We had many romantic nights on our private "terraza" and enjoyed our daily trips to the beach and nightly walks on 5th Ave. The beach is very close to the condo, about a block and a half away. Everything that we needed we had it right there at home. Rocio was helpful in all her great recommendations on places to eat and shop. She was always available when we had questions on things to do and local places to go. We felt like locals. We really didn't eat out that much because we had everything we needed at home. That is exactly how we felt when we were there. The condo is very beautiful and elegant. It has the necessary amenities that you may need on a vacation and more. We meet many of the neighbors, whom are very friendly. We are already recommending you to our friends for next year. We just hope we are lucky enough to find the days available. Thank you Rocio and Mauro for all your help. And a special thanks to Lara for sharing her beautiful home with us.

Great Location!

What an amazing experience right from booking the condo to checking out. Lara was very accommodating and the condo was perfect, it has everything you need including a pool in the court yard and the beach is less than a block away. Grocery stores (Walmart & Mega) and markets that are near by. It was really nice to have the kitchen to cook our own meals. The managers, Vicki and Scott made the experience even better. They were there to give us tips on where to eat and what places to see. As well They booked us our cab for the ride back to the airport to make sure that we didn't get ripped off. The Condo is located in a great area. It's about a block from 5th ave where there is lots of shopping and restaurants. As well there was a taco stand right up the street from the condo with $1 tacos that were awesome!! And they even made fresh pineapple juice. My wife and I spent a week here and will definitely be back. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was a trip that made memories for a life time. Thank you Lara, Scott and Vicki.

great modern unit away from the busy 5th avenue but still in walking distance,beach very close. Lots of convenience stores close by to get your beer and small items. the unit has a great roof top and two balconies, the pool is really clean, lots of friendly people. would recommend to anyone who does not mind the three set of stairs, well worth it.

Amazing trip to remember and what a great Condo,

We travel to playa a few times a year, but this time we deceide to try a condo, after finding this amazing place on 46th and 1 minute from the beach, we wanted to see what it was like. I emailed the owner Lara, she was amazing to deal with. She replied back with prompt emails, and we were able to book our stay. The price was right for us. She told us all the details, and connected us with her property manager Vicki and her husband Steve. The condo was perfect for us. Very clean and everything was right there. When we walked in there was cold water in the fridge and a couple of beers even, what a great touch in the heat. A nice little letter on the table with all the things to do in the complex and in the area. Great reading and advice from anyone coming new to the area. Everything about our stay was perfect. If we had any questions problems Vicki and Steve were always there. It was our best trip yet to playa, the condo was comfortable for our friends to come meet and visit with us, and we enjoyed cooking for them with all the amendities the condo came with. To us it was very enjoyable and we will be back. Lara you have an amazing condo and we loved every minute of our stay there, you have great managers taking care of your place. It was very very clean anc comfortable and a very relaxing one for my husband and myself. Very quiet and away from any 5th ave. evening noise, but yet so close to walk to anything you may need. We give this place an amazing 5******** for sure. We can't wait to go back.
