Great vacation getaway one half block from Carlsbad Beach and a short walk to Carlsbad Village shops, restaurants and breweries / wineries. The Amtrak / Coaster is also convenient for direct access to the Del Mar Racetrack, Old Town, downtown San Diego and more. Easy access to north, south and east freeways. This lightly used owner's unit sleeps 5, is well decorated and comes with your own 1000 sq ft ocean view deck with gas fire pit, BBQ and tiki bar. This second floor unit is located in a well-maintained 4-unit building with onsite laundry, single car garage and off street parking. The second story unit is accessed by way of a single flight of stairs. As of 2023, the unit has new, larger and more quiet air conditioning unit to take the sweat off those hot and humid summer days. Kid-friendly amenities include a baby gate and pack-n-play. Garage has beach chairs, toys and wagon. A minimum 6-night stay is required to reduce the turnover. Perfect Getaway!

The location and property was perfect for my family's needs. The home was clean, had all the amenities that I needed especially when having young children, and you could not ask for a better location with a view! When returning to Carlsbad I will stay here again without question.

Perfect Spot in Carlsbad

Fantastic place for vacation

Dennis's apartment was perfect for our family vacation. We spent a lot of time on the huge deck watching sunsets and grilling. The property is in a great location close to restaurants, a fantastic beach right across the road and much needed air-conditioning that kept us cool during the recent heatwave. We would love to come back one day.

We spent a week here and wished it was longer. So many great features. Spent lots of time on the spacious deck. Very clean inside and fully stocked. Seriously - anything you need is here. The beach chairs and umbrella made our day on the sand perfect. Communication with the host was excellent. The location is amazing! We walked to almost everything. Fantastic location for easy and close beach access, and walkable to Carlsbad Village. Patio deck provides a great view of the beach and plenty of seating options. Love that it’s in a quiet neighborhood as well. Beds were comfy, lots of towels for beach and in house use. Had beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon. Well stocked kitchen too! Will be first option if we return to Carlsbad!

Christmas Visit

We have stayed at this property now a handful of times and have never been disappointed. Dennis is a wonderful host. Perfect 2 bedroom by the ocean

This is as a very cute and clean condo, with everything you need. Dennis the host is very helpful if you have any questions. The neighborhood is very safe and pleasant. It is only a couple minutes to the ocean. People are walking and enjoying the weather constantly. Carlsbad the town was quaint and cute with delightful residents. We hope to stay here again.

Wonderful experience in Carlsbad

The property was just as advertised. Walking distance to beach and town. It was very clean and all the equipment from kitchen appliances, utensils, linens were of top quality. Host was very easy to reach and responded to our questions speedily. We stayed for 2 months and were supplied with paper products, cleaning supplies and coffee for the entire time. We would highly recommend this property and will hope to stay there again should we return to the San Diego area. The weather was a little cooler than we had hoped for January and February.
